Jack of all trades
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So don’t make fun of me for this but, the first year I had this camera right after I was able to put my rig together finally. I had no idea that it had a mic, and the mic quality is quite impressive, the material around the lens of the camera is made up of some kind of soft texture material that acts as a pop filter and I assume that is where the mic is located ! One thing that really got me was the different ways of mounting it on top of my monitor. I thought it wouldn’t sit in place since my monitor is curved but it actually sits on top perfectly secured. At 1080p running at 60fps, this bad boy delivers the quality you seek ! I still use it to this day and it hasn’t failed me once. Logitech really impressed me with this one.

Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up to replace my prior pro model (but it was years old and only did SD resolution). The software is minimal to say the least (they have two promo software--but both are only 90 days (not the typical OEM light versions that still have value). The qualify and control was great using their app. The resolution was close to my DSL camera with Cam Link 4k. In fact, I was thinking of returning the Cam Link--except, when I tried to use the StreamCam in Skype, it would not allow me to adjust the zoom. The old version of Skype did. It wouldn't be a problem except the Logitech software that gave more controls would not load. It said the camera was in use by another application. So I was stuck with an image that was WAY too wide (beyond the width of my image (have a 60x40" image for calls behind me) and beyond the width of my huge greenscreen). I could not get it to zoom--so it was effectively useless. I also noticed that, unlike the prior Logitech software, I could not use the software to control the camera within OBS Studio. OBS had it's own controls, but not the same as the Logitech. In contrast, with the Cam Link 4k and my DSL I controlled the zoom with the physical lense--so I got exactly what I saw. So, very good camera, marginal software to control it within two popular applications. I haven't tried it in Zoom--if I have no camera controls there, then it won't work at all for what I paid for.

High quality webcam
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High quality webcam with built-in microphone. I would still recommend using your own mic, but it's a good backup to have it case your mic fails. The webcam fits easily on top of the monitor and can be moved around with ease. Despite that, it stays in place firmly. The connection is usb-c so you'll need to make sure your computer has that port or you'll have to buy a USB-C to USB adapter. These are easy to find online.

excellent video quality for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For an office webCam, this is perfect. I tried using older model of webcam while we are stuck working from home thanks to COVID-19, and the image quality was subpar. This StreamCam images and video for webstream via Skype, Teams, or Zoom is excellent. May not be the pr-ograde YouTube webcam but for office use, it is more than meets the needs. I think because it is USB 3 speeds it allows it to stream at 1080p/60. One minus is that it does not include the USB c to full usb SS adapter. it took me 2 tries before I found one that would handle the speeds required for full USB 3 speeds.

Solid webcam upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd been using a Microsoft Lifecam from 2010 for webcam needs - with the pandemic and work from home, it was time to upgrade. I no longer have autofocus hunting and the image quality from the new camera is markedly improved over my previous model. The 1/4 20 adapter included is quite useful - I've used a clamp-pod to hang the cam from my desk lamp.

Stream On
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After receiving the Logitech StreamCam Plus and going over the features and seeing the brilliant design and build I knew the StreamCam Plus was built for the Serious Streamer. When you open the box the first impression is quality, that comes with USB-C 3.1 cable along with monitor mount and tripod. Mounting hardware works exceptionally well, tripod and mounting brackets are well thought out and sturdy. Impressed. HD 1080P video sans 4K support is a slight let down for the price, however the main audience is streamers so this can be overlooked. The big pro is 60 fps recording, smooth video without stuttering. The AI-driven facial tracking, smart autofocus, and exposure works very well and ensures that you always look your best. Full HD Vertical video support is way cool, simply turn the camera for enhanced viewing on smartphones. The built-in microphone sounds good, but it picks up undesirable sounds. Using our Blue Yeti microphone when streaming works amazingly well with the StreamCam Plus. Good Stuff: - Picture quality - 1080p/60fps = videos that pop - Ease of use - Lowlight performance - Sharpness with abundance of detail - Facial tracking - Designed for the Media Creators o Video Conferencing o Live Stream Gaming o Video Chatting Bottomline, the Logitech StreamCam Plus is an amazing camera for streaming with advanced improvements over the previous generation.

Wishing for more connectivity.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to start off with the bad because I believe this will effect many and should almost be considered a flaw. This camera only supports USB type C and does not come equipped to support USB type A. This is unfortunate because PC makers only just started using USB Type C (yes apple has used it for a few years). A camera this size and quality should have multiple options to connect to your devices. Yes you can get an adapter but with my experience with using a USB adapters and high quality devices such as video and audio there is always delays or errors. Anyway, to me who uses webcams all the time with different setting and different equipment, I would have liked to see adaptability especially in our current market where we have lighting ports, different USBS, WIFI, and Bluetooth. In the box you will get a tripod, two mounts (one for the pc and one for the tripod) and the camera with a pre-attached cord (the rope feeling one). The tripod is basic but perfect for what it is intended for. The camera has a super high quality feel and look. You can tell this is not your average Joe. It is larger so those on space saving mode or travel mode might need to look elsewhere but you might not get the same quality of video or build. The camera is plug and play ready. Once connected Logitech will take care of the process and all you have to do is start the download process. I like not having to go hunt for the software downloads. Once you are all download you are set. I love the smart auto focus feature. I have used cameras that only have no focus adjustments and ones with auto focus but they are usually lagged and take their time to find your face and adjust. They just cant compare to this camera which tracks your face AI. You stay clear in the picture which is a big help when you want great video quality. Video is excellent and is a solid 1080p quality. Do I wish it was 4k? Yes, but yet again it might not be worth it as it might sacrifice other things like autofocus or make the webcam even bigger. Overall, It’s a great solid 1080p camera that I will be using for gaming, streaming with other friends and many other uses. Its simple and excellent other than it needs more connectivity options.

Great image quality, wish it had more features.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Picture quality is fantastic. It's a dang good camera. 1080p@60fps qualifies as high-end right now. - the mount has a solid feel, with rubber ends, so it stays pretty well-attached to the top of my monitor (unlike some cheaper logitech cameras) - doesn't require fancy drivers. Basically plug-n-play with usb-c cable. cons: - it's a little bigger than I expected. Kind of looks silly. - for a little more money, I could have gotten a logitech 4k@90fps, with a privacy flap, smaller (less of an eyesore), and with noise-cancelling dual mics. I would have been happier with that one, even for the additional cost. - No privacy flap - mic quality isn't great; my onboard laptop mic does better - my package came with a small tripod, but it's kind of cheap and isn't very sturdy - the cable kind of sticks out the back in a way that looks ridiculous

Best webcam I’ve ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech StreamCam Plus is hands down the best webcam I’ve ever owned. I bought to replace an older Logitech webcam for making web dev tutorial videos and attending meetings. The video quality is incredible, especially in low light situations which is where most webcams fail. I’ve been so used to grainy video if the lightning wasn’t good enough, but not with the StreamCam Plus! It’s not going to magically fix your bad lighting, but it will show a true-to-life video just as crisp as with good lighting... just darker. I will say that $170 seems a little steep for a webcam. For that price, I would have liked to see them incorporate a mini ring light or diffused light around the face to help get more light on the subject. I also would have liked to see 4K max resolution, instead of 1080p. But since it’s so much better than the others out there, I’m still glad that I went for it. The only one that is better is the Logitech BRIO (also called Logitech 4K) due to the better resolution and detachable cable for multiple connection types and cable lengths but that also has a higher price tag and can’t do vertical video, which is becoming more necessary in social media. Pros: - Great picture quality, even in less than ideal lighting - Removable mount with two mounting options (Screen top and 1/4 inch standard camera mount) - Turns 90 degrees for portrait or landscape mode - USB-C cable for modern laptops - Great quality microphone, sounds perfect on recordings - Logi Capture software to fine-tune the picture, manage inputs for streaming/recording and apply chromakey. Cons: - USB-C only, no USB Type-A (standard USB) adapter. - Attached cable, would have been good to have a USB-C port and detachable cable for different cable lengths and replacement cables the same way that the BRIO does. - High price for no 4K Overall, I highly recommend this camera

Great Camera For Streamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this camera about a day or two. I actually cancelled my amazon order and got it from Best Buy because it was available same day pickup. I’m really enjoying it. The first thing I did was immediately do a side by side in OBS with my C920 and this one and the StreamCam is a massive improvement in picture quality. The fact that it has a smaller FOV than the Brio is a little disappointing, but it was something that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. The focus is a much needed upgrade over previous models and the software was relatively easy to use prior to opening the camera up in OBS. It should probably be about 20-30 dollars cheaper, but it’s definitely a big upgrade from the cheaper and older counterparts.

Impressive Performance and Versatility
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Elgato camera, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Image Quality: The image quality of the Elgato camera is outstanding. Whether I'm using it for video calls, live streaming, or content creation, the clarity and sharpness of the footage are remarkable. It truly elevates the overall production value of my content. Ease of Use: Setting up the Elgato camera was a breeze. The plug-and-play functionality made the initial setup process straightforward, and the intuitive interface allowed me to customize settings effortlessly. It's perfect for both beginners and experienced users. Versatility: One of the standout features of the Elgato camera is its versatility. I love that it can be easily mounted on a tripod or attached to a monitor, giving me flexibility in various recording setups. Additionally, the camera's adjustable angles make it perfect for capturing the perfect shot every time. Low Light Performance: Even in low-light conditions, the Elgato camera shines. The advanced sensor technology ensures that my videos remain clear and well-lit, even in dimly lit environments. This has been a game-changer for me, as I no longer have to worry about the lighting setup for my recordings. Real-Time Monitoring: The real-time monitoring feature is a game-changer for live streaming and content creation. Being able to see how I look on camera in real-time has improved the overall quality of my content significantly.

Perfect WebCam for Everyone!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for the rare occasion that I'll need to use a webcam for class or work meetings, but it is a really impressive product compared to its competition. I got is discounted, but I would've expected a higher price for such an amazing webcam. I love the ability to tinker with the video settings and adjust the quality, and a 1080p 60fps webcam is more than enough for any streamer, white-collar worker, or student.

Good quality webcam - easy set up even for novice.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't give a technical review... but I can say that as a complete web meeting/ equipment ignoramus - this product worked great and was worth the extra money. I purchased a cheaper one on line that had poor video quality and sound kept turning on and off... The Logitech Stream Cam was easy to set up (even for me), video quality is great... sound as well. The only setback was needing the USB C connection port to my computer. I had to run back to Best Buy and purchase an adaptor separately.

Flexible mounting options, nice picture
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Image quality is nice. Solid 1080p cam. Like the ability to mount to tripod as well on top of the monitor. Also like that it uses USB-C. My son needed a cam for remote learning now that schools in the area are all closed down for several weeks. He's also using it in his pursuit of becoming a YouTube star. What don't I care for? The price. It's pretty expensive for a 1080p cam that doesn't even have the 3D stuff for doing Windows Hello. Honest opinion? If it's available, spend a few more bucks on the Logitech Brio. It's 4K, and does Windows Hello. The included tripod with the StreamCam Plus is fine, but not what I'd consider "desirable". My son stole one of my little Manfrotto desktop tripods and is happy with the combo.

Great quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was using my canon m50 for streaming on twitch. Quality was amazing, but didn’t want to put west and tear on the camera so I decided to go with this logitech cam. Quality is very great if paired with great lighting. The auto follow feature in the camera is pretty cool. 1080 60fps can’t complain. Also you will have to have a usb-c plug on your PC. If not I suggest buying a adapter to plug it in your standard usb, note that it will be in 1080 30fps unless plug into a usb 3.0. I really can’t complain, besides the price being a little too pricey but that’s about it. Love the camera would recommend over the c920 and this being your starter webcam. =D

Logitech SteamCam Plus Webcam
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exceptionally clear and good video quality. The 1080p with 60fps is great for quality streaming. Has the ability to be rotated 90 degrees and placed on a tripod that comes with the camera to allow for making videos for sites like Tik Tok. Only issue is that it only comes with a built in USB-C connector and if your PC doesn't have that port buying an adaptor seems to mean ordering from Amazon. Couldn't find an adaptor in town anywhere. Great for laptop use and very easily portable. Also pretty expensive but one of the only webcams right now with the nice software suite and 1080p 60 fps capability.

Great for Videoconferencing and Online Education
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this webcam for my home office. It is fantastic from an image quality perspective and exactly what I needed. My camera quality on Zoom and Microsoft Teams is better than my peers and allows for online lecturing to be seamless. Using both modes (portrait and landscape) doesn't interface well with the above-mentioned software but using it in landscape mode is most desirable. I do not use the onboard microphone as it was not clearly picking up my voice and had poor sound quality.
