    High quality webcam

High quality webcam with built-in microphone. I would still recommend using your own mic, but it's a good backup to have it case your mic fails. The webcam fits easily on top of the monitor and can be moved around with ease. Despite that, it stays in place firmly. The connection is usb-c so you'll need to make sure your computer has that port or you'll have to buy a USB-C to USB adapter. These are easy to find online.

For an office webCam, this is perfect. I tried using older model of webcam while we are stuck working from home thanks to COVID-19, and the image quality was subpar. This StreamCam images and video for webstream via Skype, Teams, or Zoom is excellent. May not be the pr-ograde YouTube webcam but for office use, it is more than meets the needs. I think because it is USB 3 speeds it allows it to stream at 1080p/60. One minus is that it does not include the USB c to full usb SS adapter. it took me 2 tries before I found one that would handle the speeds required for full USB 3 speeds.

I'd been using a Microsoft Lifecam from 2010 for webcam needs - with the pandemic and work from home, it was time to upgrade. I no longer have autofocus hunting and the image quality from the new camera is markedly improved over my previous model. The 1/4 20 adapter included is quite useful - I've used a clamp-pod to hang the cam from my desk lamp.

This camera is suuuper HD and very crisp the only small issue is the pieces it comes with for mounting (the tiny tripod and the flexible clamp thing) are not the most stable or useful for different surfaces. You also will need some kind of lighting to most effectively use this camera cause it’s not the best with normally lit places. A ring light placed around it works great though. Btw this uses a usb-c connector to connect to your computer not a usb

It’s definitely a little wonky at first to get used to however once you get it you get it. It’s actually a lot more flexible and viable and I use different angles all the time.

Nice clear image. I have not been able to get it into 1080 mode, but I’m sure that’s operator error, otherwise it works as expected.

That's great to hear about the StreamCam Plus's image quality! It's odd that you're unable to get it into 1080p mode. Try checking the software settings or the webcam's resolution settings within your operating system.

Great camera super clear due to the 60fps. Works with c connections If you have an older Mac you can get an adaptor and works well with it too. At least on my mid 2015 w latest OS. Mic on it seems to work well during meetings and it picks up your tone nicely.

I wanted to start off with the bad because I believe this will effect many and should almost be considered a flaw. This camera only supports USB type C and does not come equipped to support USB type A. This is unfortunate because PC makers only just started using USB Type C (yes apple has used it for a few years). A camera this size and quality should have multiple options to connect to your devices. Yes you can get an adapter but with my experience with using a USB adapters and high quality devices such as video and audio there is always delays or errors. Anyway, to me who uses webcams all the time with different setting and different equipment, I would have liked to see adaptability especially in our current market where we have lighting ports, different USBS, WIFI, and Bluetooth. In the box you will get a tripod, two mounts (one for the pc and one for the tripod) and the camera with a pre-attached cord (the rope feeling one). The tripod is basic but perfect for what it is intended for. The camera has a super high quality feel and look. You can tell this is not your average Joe. It is larger so those on space saving mode or travel mode might need to look elsewhere but you might not get the same quality of video or build. The camera is plug and play ready. Once connected Logitech will take care of the process and all you have to do is start the download process. I like not having to go hunt for the software downloads. Once you are all download you are set. I love the smart auto focus feature. I have used cameras that only have no focus adjustments and ones with auto focus but they are usually lagged and take their time to find your face and adjust. They just cant compare to this camera which tracks your face AI. You stay clear in the picture which is a big help when you want great video quality. Video is excellent and is a solid 1080p quality. Do I wish it was 4k? Yes, but yet again it might not be worth it as it might sacrifice other things like autofocus or make the webcam even bigger. Overall, It’s a great solid 1080p camera that I will be using for gaming, streaming with other friends and many other uses. Its simple and excellent other than it needs more connectivity options.

Pros: - Picture quality is fantastic. It's a dang good camera. 1080p@60fps qualifies as high-end right now. - the mount has a solid feel, with rubber ends, so it stays pretty well-attached to the top of my monitor (unlike some cheaper logitech cameras) - doesn't require fancy drivers. Basically plug-n-play with usb-c cable. cons: - it's a little bigger than I expected. Kind of looks silly. - for a little more money, I could have gotten a logitech 4k@90fps, with a privacy flap, smaller (less of an eyesore), and with noise-cancelling dual mics. I would have been happier with that one, even for the additional cost. - No privacy flap - mic quality isn't great; my onboard laptop mic does better - my package came with a small tripod, but it's kind of cheap and isn't very sturdy - the cable kind of sticks out the back in a way that looks ridiculous

This streamcam is super nice. I use it mostly in discord (I haven’t built up the courage to stream on Twitch or anything yet). I thought it was time to get my own and stop stealing my brother’s webcam and I think this is one of the best purchases in terms of streaming. It autofocuses and can pick up images in the dark. The imaging was clear and very comparable to using an expensive Canon camera to stream. A cool feature about it was the rotatable camera so it not only stream horizontal, but it can also stream vertical. It also matches my white setup which is a plus. The set up was pretty easy & was another device I could control in the Logitech GHub. It was a lot bigger than I thought it was, but the size did not matter. The only reason for 4 stars was I didn’t realize it was a USB-C connection and it didn’t have a removable wire so I can change it out for another. I had to buy an adapter off Amazon to turn USB-C to USB-A which meant I had to wait another 3-days until I was able to actually use it. If I were to use it on a laptop, I would have had no problems and this would have been a 5-star review.

Image quality is nice. Solid 1080p cam. Like the ability to mount to tripod as well on top of the monitor. Also like that it uses USB-C. My son needed a cam for remote learning now that schools in the area are all closed down for several weeks. He's also using it in his pursuit of becoming a YouTube star. What don't I care for? The price. It's pretty expensive for a 1080p cam that doesn't even have the 3D stuff for doing Windows Hello. Honest opinion? If it's available, spend a few more bucks on the Logitech Brio. It's 4K, and does Windows Hello. The included tripod with the StreamCam Plus is fine, but not what I'd consider "desirable". My son stole one of my little Manfrotto desktop tripods and is happy with the combo.

Purchased this product on March 19th after a store rep informed me that this would be compatible with the Insignia 24" F20 Series LED HD Smart Fire TV that I had purchased from this store back in December. Intended on using it to stream video chat for work and found out that it is not compatible. This webcam is plug and play and worked fine on other devices. Lightweight, comes in small packaging and had a few accessories, like a mini tripod stand, for example.

This is a fantastic webcam, best I have used. I bought it because the built-in webcam on my laptop has poor image quality. In conparison this camera is superior in terms of image quality and has the intelligence to remove the yellow tint in "warm" lighting conditions, which makes the color temperature look very natural. I would give 5 stars if the price was lower.

The 1080p resolution provides sharp and clear video quality, and the 60fps refresh rate ensures smooth motion for your viewers. The auto-focus and exposure adjustment work well in various lighting conditions, and the camera handles low light better than some competitors in this price range. It's worth noting that while 1080p is solid, the market is trending towards higher resolutions like 4K, so it's something to consider if you're looking for future-proofing.

This webcam is great if you're wanting to stream or record videos in 1080p 60fps however the cable isn't replaceable. I broke my USB-C cable and Logitech doesn't sell new cables, it was my fault how I broke it but with an item costing that much, I'd like to be able to buy a replacement cable which you can't I tried. At least with the Logitech Brio, you can newer cables and even with the Logitech C920 there are cables for sale, I think that's something to consider if you're wanting to take it here and there. With that in mind I lost out on $169.99 and ended up buying a Logitech Brio while I wait to hear back from Logitech about the Streamcam, they haven't given me an answer on if they will just replace the camera or if they won't.

Hi Yazzsanity, So glad to hear how much you loved using your StreamCam Plus Webcam before breaking the USB-C cable. Since the cable is integrated with the StreamCam---just as it is with the C920---there is no way to just replace the cable, unlike the BRIO which isn't. You should be able to file a warranty claim to get a replacement relatively quickly since the StreamCam does have a 1-year limited hardware warranty. Here's a link to File a Claim:  https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043221253-Warranty-Logitech-StreamCam. Hope that this helped and that all is going well. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. - Richard from Logitech
