These headsets feel good and was able to update the headset, but 30 minutes of opening the box the side of the headphones cracked. Returned these for Astro A40s

Nicely packaged. Sound great and feel just and good. Comfortable for hours. I wear them while gaming or watching content. Dolby Atmos compatible. Only knock is I wish they were wireless with other devices other than Xbox. And out of the box they had a issue where the headphones would desync and lose sound for a few seconds. LucidSound came with a patch/update that you can easily access and download from their website. If not for that would've given the product 5 stars

Best value in totally wireless Xbox headsets

I bought Turtle Beach headsets for many years - there aren't very many options for totally wireless Xbox headsets, and Turtle Beach made top-notch stuff back in the day. Then Turtle Beach started a death spiral in quality, and I went through a few years paying $200 to $350 for their sub-sound-quality, flimsy plastic sets that would inevitably snap an earpiece off just tossing them on the couch. I finally had enough, and swore them off forever -- and I didn't care if I had to spend $500+ for one of those super-high-end sets. But then I came across these LucidSounds, and at that price had to give them a try. And in 6 months, they've been GREAT - better than any of the last 3 paid over $200 for. All metal frame is stout but lightweight, and earphones are comfortable even when wearing glasses for hours of continuous gaming. Battery will last through a whole weekend of gaming without recharging. Audio is superb (and I never turn the volume all the way up because that's too loud), and mic is great also. And speaking of the mic, one of my favorite features is that when you mute the mic (which you do by just pressing your right earpiece), there's red led light on the end of the mic that indicates it's muted. It isn't so bright that it's distracting while gaming, but it's noticeable - so you don't have those talking-to-nobody-for-15-minutes-because-my-mic-is-muted-and-I-didn't-know moments. The only con, if I had to name one, would be the chat/game volume mixer - the outer ring of the right earpiece is a dial that you turn to adjust the mix (the one on the left earpiece handles master volume) - and although the dial has 180 degrees of rotation, like 10 degrees in the middle is where most of the mix change takes place. So you have to tweak it in tiny little increments to get it just right. That said, once it's right, it doesn't fluctuate or change on its own, so you only need to mess with it if you or your friend/kid/whoever turned the dial and changed it. And even then, its not a huge deal - tweak it a few times over a minute or two in the first match, and you're good again. And at this price, with the quality of the headset is all other aspects, it seems silly to even mention it -- especially considering the other garbage headsets that exist out there at $200 - $400.

Best headset I have owned until it fell apart

Bought this primarily for use with Xbox One, but also used it with my laptop (had to get a Windows 10 Xbox One USB adapter). Worked like a charm. Easy to setup. Sound quality is superb. Detachable boom mic was convenient since it can be moved out of the way without dealing with a retracting cord. The volume wheels are excellent. The headband is extremely comfortable, as are the circumaural cups. Reproduces lows, mids, and highs very well for a headset. Since I was using it with my laptop, I put it in a Boulder Cases heavy-duty foam-lined equipment case for transport. After a couple of months, the plastic connecting the headband to the ear cups began to crack, and quickly led to shorting in the wires that run through the plastic. This did not last long before the headset became completely unusable. The transport case is not exactly flimsy and I was not casually tossing the case around, so I was surprised at the quality degradation of the headset. Long story short, if you are not planning on transporting this headset (e.g., using it at a consistent location) and want something that pairs seamlessly with your Xbox, is unbelievably comfortable, and produces good sound this is a great bet. If you plan to take it with you, I am not sure I would recommend it.

Easy to use. Quality build. Comfortable and sound is solid. Only issue is sometimes when sound stops transmitting from the xbox you get a bit of static through the headset but it goes away one the sound starts back up.

I use this device every time I play Call of Duty. This device brings sound around you to life in vivid detail, something that is lost by utilizing the TV speakers. You can hear footsteps clearly which helps to give you an extra edge during matches. I have noticed the audio tends to cut out intermittently for split seconds in other games such as NBA 2K20 and NFS Heat. Not sure why, but it is a minor flaw, nothing game breaking. The volume controls on the side of the cups take some time to get used to, but once you master them, it makes controlling your game volume and the volume of the voice chat a breeze. You can also mute your headset or game volume from the headset itself. The option to remove the included boom mic is a great feature. I use the boom mic when playing with other gamers, and remove it when I play games that don’t require a mic late at night so I can hear the game perfectly while sound is muted from the TV. (The headphones still transmit your voice to other players without the boom attached which is great.) I highly recommend this product, it is great for a casual gamer like myself and a perfect buy for the price.

Best headset I've ever had... Works seamlessly with the xbox series x(also worked great with the one x)..great sound ,,,the volume control locations are nice. I would recommend putting a baffle on the mic because it picks up everything.

So far so good, other than the volume knobs can be a little confusing. The headband area feels like it isn't made with the best materials.

Review from Apex Legends Xbox Player

I bought Ls35x a month ago, upgraded from Stealth 700s. At first i was thinking about going back to Stealths but got over that feeling after weeks of use. Headset is great, but the controls take a long time to get used to with the use of knobs but once you get used to them its great. I use Dolby Atmos and have zero problems hearing footsteps. Coming from Stealths(which is low volume) i thought these were too loud but now i love the fact that i can turn it up when im in the mood to hear the game loud which was impossible with my last headset. If looking to buy these i suggest you do price checks every day bc the price on these are up and down like wallstreet. One thing i wish they would have done with these is give each level of sound a tick when turning knob, also label each tick with a dash on the headset so you can adjust the sound/chat to how you like it quicker. In the beginning stages of using headset when i would adjust sound/chat too low or too high by accident, It would be a pain the the #$$ getting the levels back to how i liked them. Would be nice to put the sound back to level 7 and the chat back to level 4 instead of trying to magically guess that sweet spot. After a month of use i can do it much easier but at first it was annoying. Another gripe is no mac software. When u purchase these you have to do the update, its imperative. I do not own a pc so i had to go to a friends house to update my firmware. Also, if u press your left button, it mutes everything, this is a feature i hate. It should only mute game sound, not game sound and chat. Sometimes if i die i still want to communicate with team but dont want to hear the game. Now i can turn the volume knob all the way down but then u gotta go through magically putting it back to the exact level you had it at smh. Hope they come out w a ls45x one day and fix those lil hardware problems i mentioned otherwise great headset. Now i do like the button on right ear to mute the mic. I can mute my mic quickly by resting my ear on my shoulder. Zero issues with comfort. The sound on this headset is a 5/5 but i give the Sound/Chat knob controls a 3/5.

Love the complete freedom of wires from my Xbox. It connects super easy, I’m able to adjust the balance between gameplay and chat, and they are comfortable. There might be better headphones for sound but these do the job great for me and I highly recommend them!

Not a great headset. Younhave to update using a laptop or comouter, it fails hard in congested wifi areas. I would lny buy these if youre in that kind of environment. Otherwise sound and stuff is good. Battery loses capacity quickly aftwr not even a year.

A must buy for Xbox sx owners, works super well with pc and and Ps5 with wire. Had so many razed headphones, Xbox, Ps5 headset, hands down this is the best. Build quality is little fragile so have to be careful. But will buy again in heartbeat. Do t forget to update it on pc. Needs Xbox wireless connecter to connect to pc wirelessly

I purchased, and exchanged these headphones 3 times. First Red Flag: BestBuy does not offer a warranty on these, you CANNOT purchase an additional warranty for these headphones. These headphones appear sturdy, with hard plastic and metal parts. After using the headphones for a couple days the hard plastic piece on the side that holds the cups in place cracked, this same exact thing happened with all 3 pairs of headphones.
