The Martin Logan 35XTi’s are really one of the best sounding bookshelf speakers under$1600, has enough lows and highs, I am using it as the surround speakers on the individual stands in my living room - great for watching movies, gaming and blast your favorite music. Would recommend and would buy again should the need arise.

Extremelyl well-built, these speakers boast a wide dynamic range and are versatile with a variety of program sources, from movies to hard rock, country, and even classical and choral music (think opera ensembles and show tunes). They do need proper placement and EQ tweaking so they don't become too bright; and a subwoofer is essential in my opinion to capture the full range of sounds while providing needed warmth and richness. With these caveats, I find them a big improvement over my previous bookshelf speakers with conventional domed tweeters.

While Martin Logan are known for their ESL speakers, their Motion line offers up incredible performance and clarity of sound at relatively more affordable prices. Also the more traditional drivers in these speakers create a wider field of sound for multiple listening positions. These bookshelf speakers are cable of a very full range of sound and can stand alone, but also blend seamlessly with the rest of the Motion line to create a very immersive experience when used as the surround channels.

These speakers were part of a package put together by a Magnolia consultant. They are kinda pricey but we love them.

Love these speakers. I had never heard of this brand until the gentleman in the Magnolia store recommended them. For their size the sound is amazing. They sound as good as the 40 year old JBL's I had that were three times bigger.

For relatively small bookshelf speakers, the Martin Logan’s pack a punch. They sound great and look good too. The wood and piano gloss finish is immaculate. Highly recommended for home theater or music.

These are great speakers, high quality. The highs are crisp and clean. Big sound in a small package. I’m very happy with them.

Wow, these small speakers pack a punch! I have them matched up with large Vandersteen 2C towers in a surround system, and until you get down to the deepest low end they sound nearly as good as as the big boys. Got them on sale and they are worth every penny.

I had never heard of the Martin Logan speakers before. When I heard them at the Magnolia Store in Overland Park, I had to see how they world sound at home. Over $6K later, I was immersed in high quality, super clean theater sound. Very pleased, although pricey, they sound so much better than my previous 5.1 system with the same AVR hook up.

I bought a pair of these as my front speakers for the living room and I am impressed by the fullness of the sound even though they are bookshelf speakers. They are not cheap, but worth the money in my opinion. My Martin Logan subwoofer completes the setup very well too.

Some of the best sounding book shelf speakers in this price range. The bass and midrange are all you need if you have medium size room or live in a condo. No need for subwoofer
