    The dishwasher is working well; however, it has a defect from the factory. The top strip with controls is sticking out. Bad quality control

    Its quiet but on the auto or normal cyle does not clean well at all. A cuttingboard that was only use to cut vegatables for a salad never comes clean. A bowl that I used for oatmeal that was rinsed out before it dried never comes clean. The bowls always havea film on it. This repalced a 16 year old kenmore that I never had an issue with it was just dated looking but nothing was ever dirty. Teh other thing is it takes hours to do a laod over 3 now that i have touse the highest setting top get things clean that is insane. Newer and more expensive is not always better.

    The Maytag dishwasher "stainless steel" had a non pleasant mettalic type odor coming from the dishwasher plus the dishes had the smell on them also!

    So quiet you don’t know it’s running

    Got this model because the one I wanted was out of stock until April. The inside of the dishwasher is very dark, including the silverware rack. It is extremely hard to see things especially when you are putting silverware in the rack. The third rack is a good addition but it won’t hold a spatula because it doesn’t fit in the designated spot. The “Owners Manual” only pertains to installation. Had to contact Maytag and have them email me the true Owners Manual.

    I gave this dishwasher 2 stars because it looks nice in my kitchen and it has a third shelf. I was extremely disappointed that it did not clean my dishes very well and was no better than the dated dishwasher it replaced but cost twice as much.

    Broke after 1 month. No Best Buy support!

    Middle shelf is no longer staying on its track, ie falls off when loading and unloading dishes! It started after about 1 month. Geek squad told me that no one is available to come fix it in my area now or any time in future (live 6th largest city in country!.. Philadelphia). Frustrating…Now I will have to deal directly with Maytag folks. They gave me an 1-800 number. Looking forward to it!

    Somewhat disappointed so far

    So it took a little over a month to finally get delivered. 9/28 I finally got it. After spending all this money looking at good reviews prior to purchase I'm getting a lot of dishes coming out dirty. Spoons forks are dull and have stuff stuck on them. Dishes had stuff stuck on them as well. I filled the rinse aid as usual. I've only used it a little so far I just got it but didn't really expect to find any dishes dirty. Not sure what is happening. A new machine shouldn't do this. I used normal setting sanitize rinse short hot dry. The dishes were rinsed too before they went in as well. I'll see how it goes if it gets better I will redo my review. Otherwise I will try to call for some insight I guess. Not sure what to do at the moment a little disappointed.

    Ours stopped working in less than 4 mos

    Unfortunately ours stopped working before it was four months old. We waited for a warranty appt and now we have to wait another two weeks for a circulating motor because they aren’t allowed to carry parts on the truck because of COVID. Our previous Kitchenaid model lasted 13 years without a problem.

    The dishwasher was mislabeled "excellent" although it was missing 2 essential rollers for the lower rack. Instead of BB ordering those rollers, your policy required I had to return to the store, choose a different dishwasher, schedule an UNinstall and INstall the second one. Ridiculous! However store manager Kim made it right!

    Pretty but flawed

    Very nice looking unit and has served us well. However, the recirc pump failed just a few months out of warranty. So much for having to call the Maytag repair man!

    Noise issues

    The Maytag that we purchased had noise issues we had a tech that said it wasn't operating as it should, so we returned this particular model twice before we bought a Samsung instead We would have been happy with the Maytag if it didn't make loud noises while running not something you want to listen to for about 3 hours for a regular cycle

    Purchased this dishwasher a few months ago. It doesn't do a good job of cleaning the dishes. Also is in constant drip pan error,. I currently have a ticket open with Maytag to come replace a clogged drain error even though the drain isn't clogged. Would not purchase this again. gave it 2 stars because Maytag support has been great.

    Wish I had my dishwasher now!

    I am disappointed to not yet have my dishwasher. I didn’t want to give only one star because the dishwasher might be great. I bought this in November but they won’t be able to install it until January 6.

    A bit of a nightmare to hook up; cord barely long enough to reach the outlet; plastic drawers not strong at all; NOT ENUF SPACE for dishes!

    Horrible Racks

    I hate the racks. The dishes sit loose, fall over and bang around, causing chips. The dishes don’t dry.

You will need to consult your dealer. Most dealers will order from a storage warehouse or buying group. They do not always purchase directly from the factory.     Top rack slider weld failed twice.

    Dishwasher washes great, but the top rack weld that holds the stainless slider in place has failed twice. Once right on delivery day and the rack fell down, so they had to take the unit back and again 3 years later on the second unit. You can build powerful motors with 10 year warranty, but it is useless with bad quality of other components as well. Not sure if I will buy a Maytag again.
