This is the best VR headset out there. Easy to set up. Lots of fun for all ages. If you are brand new to VR, try to ween your self on to it, playing more and more at a time. If not, you could get motion sickness.

Love this thing! The first week i had to play in sessions due to motion sickness, but I've been able to endure longer play times once i was used to it. Very functional, expansive app library, controls make sense and some of my favorite games are currently getting VR adaptations, which only makes me more excited. Highly recommend!

This was purchased as a gift for somebody! The feedback was it is an awesome product; they love it. I also used it and I loved it. But she has experienced some motion sickness with it so she has to put parameters around they length or time she uses it! I used it for a short period of time and had no motion sickness at all so it probably varies from personal. To person!

Fun piece of technology that can immerse you into things not possible in reality. Can definitely give you an upset stomach and a spinny head for sure so be careful at first. I bought 2 and we have fun using them together.

    INCREDIBLY Realistic VR Experience

This thing is WAY too cool!! Very easy to set up, very intuitive process. My 13yr old son set it up, I just had to link it to my Facebook account, then we were done. You have to download games. There are MANY to choose from depending upon your tastes - first person shooter games, fitness type games, etc. The graphics are incredible, with VERY realistic 3-D VR imaging. I'm not a big fan of heights and this thing tricks me into thinking I am at heights. It can be downright frightening, that is how realistic it can be! The audio / sound is top notch, whether playing music or whatever during the games. It is truly a very immersive experience. We only have one in our house and that is going to change since me and my two boys are always scrambling to play it. If you are into gaming or know someone who is, this is a must have item. Warning - this is very realistic. If you get car sick, motion sick, suffer bouts of vertigo, and or have inner ear or other balance/stability issues - this will definitely trigger those. The depth and motion clarity it combines in its 3D VR graphics are absolutely amazing. It makes you feel like you are physically there, hence the meaning behind VR. I don't like heights too much and I got light headed with cold sweats during one game where we were riding high altitude coasters.

    Amazing VR Set !

This is something I’ve always wanted to try and I’m glad I did ! Simply put , this thing is Amazing ! A easy to use all in one VR set . Oculus (or Meta) has done a wonderful job making a quality product and a pretty impressive experience. It seems to have something for everyone. The controls are pretty intuitive and seem to track well for all the games I’ve played thus far. Battery life is ok as is the comfort of the included head strap . It is definitely worth upgrading to the better strap with built in battery, this is a must . I personally experienced some degree of dizziness but it quickly passed. Something to note ; the Oculus store has a policy on most of the games it sells , if you experience motion sickness and have played the game for less than 2 hours, you can get a refund! One more thing, as of this time, you must have a Facebook account to use this . It’s not a big deal as you can change All of your privacy settings so whatever you do on Oculus is not all over Facebook. I have no regrets about this purchase, it’s been pretty amazing so far and look forward to what’s ahead for VR . The whole family loves it !

I've only had them about 10 days, but so far, these are incredible! Fairly comfortable on my head (I don't wear glasses), they don't fly off when I move fast, the 3D surround sound is great (maybe not perfect). The battery lasts MAYBE 2 hours, and takes 1-2 hours to recharge. I was most concerned with motion sickness, and so far, only one game has done that, and I stopped quickly (fair warning). I'm aware that by playing this a lot, we're isolated from others, and playing with others online isn't being with people. I've hardly seen any buffering, and no crashes so far. Otherwise, the field of vision is very sharp, hardly any pixelation, and I'm having a blast with this! Like any retail world, they want you to spend money, and very few things worthwhile are free, but you can pick a favorite, and wear it out. Mine is Beat Saber, and it's very fluid, challenging, and pretty good background music. Also keep in mind, I'm 73, very techie, and these things are different for everybody.

Upgraded from a rift s to this and just wow. Hand tracking, no motion sickness woth the new lenses, color pass through, higher graphics, this thing os awesome. Only drawback is the strain the stock straps put on your head when using for an wxtended period of time, but a backwards ball cap fixes that issue.

I have used the meta quest 2 since January of 2023. Yes I experience motion sickness for the first 3-5 experiences, but I adapted to it. You will too. The quest 2 has black and white passthrough mode and handtracking is available for most applicaitons. This product is designed for 4 major categories. Immersice gaming, fitness, productivity, and social entertainmnet.

The Oculus Quest 2 is an awesome device for the money. There’s a lot of experiences and fun things to try. For example there’s videos on YouTube that make you feel like you are there. Playing games in VR is super fun you feel immersed into the game. The only bad thing is you might get motion sick but if you have enough experience with VR you will get over it.

It's pretty cool for a standalone VR. I use it for steamvr and with my pc setup it runs and looks great. One thing that I dislike about it is that even when plugged up using a branded cable, it still dies while playing. I used to have the htc vive, which was a downgrade in a lot of ways compared to the quest 2 - but I never got motion sickness when using it. With the Quest 2 I get headaches after playing it for short periods. The fitment over the nose is really strange too and if you don't get the headset tight enough you will fog up your lenses. But it seems like when i get it tight enough it is TOO tight and ends up cutting off blood flow in my head. Overall I would recommend it but you will probably need to spend extra money to be able to find your comfort zone with it. My headaches aside, it's a great device. This is just my personal experience with it, I will definitely continue to use it and experiment with fitment to find my comfort zone.

Took a little while to get used to, but after a week or so the motion sickness sent away. Now I can use it for hours and still feel fine. Good range of games are available, and the 3D effect is amazing. If you attach it to your PC you will need at least a GTX1070. I tried using it in a machine with a GTX970 and it was not good. My other machine with a GTX1070 managed to get decent frame rates. Is a little heavy at the front and you might want to add a weight at the back to offset. I know you can buy an official Quest one, but I found an old Walkman gathering dust that fit the bill perfectly. Overall I highly recommend this, especially as it is so much cheaper than the alternatives.

I bought this for my daughter who was asking for this all year as her Christmas gift. It’s even better than she expected it to be. I usually get motion sick from VR, but not with this. The graphics are so clear, it’s been a great buy so far.

The Oculus is fun but I get motion sickness very easily and did not realize that playing this causes motion sickness episodes. I can only play for 10-15 mins at a time. Someone online recommended taking Dramamine to help with the nausea. Also the headset takes a minute to get use too on your face.

Im brand new to VR and this (in my opinion) is a great place to start. SO much to do. Gaming, exploring, etc. One thing I will say as a "heads up", when doing anything where you can walk around, take your time and turn on the option to help with motion sickness. Even if you don't typically get motion, its a crappy way to find out when in the middle of a fun game. Some people just don't get it, and thats great. If you do, don't give up. Take it slow, don't turn fast and try to speed run anything. Its been a couple weeks and my motion sickness is finally starting to taper off. But being able to enjoy this device more and more as I'm getting used to it is still completely worth it.

If you get motion sickness this isn’t the gaming system for you. Once you get it set up make sure you create your room boundary’s or you will run into things. Also make sure you put your hands through the loops and tighten them so you don’t accidentally throw the controllers. We are considering buying rechargeable batteries for the remotes as well. There are a ton of free demo games once you set up your VR headset but you can buy games there as well. I wish we could buy the game codes at Best Buy but all they offer is the gift cards which I guess work the same as well.
