Customers enjoy the Comfort Desktop 5050's keyboard quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its good battery life and reasonable price. However, some users point out the lack of a caps lock indicator light as a drawback. A few also experienced occasional connection issues with the keyboard and mouse.

Super Comfortable

I've been using this for 2 weeks now and find it very comfortable. Unfortunately I got it for work and they won't let me use the programmable features, but the keyboard has worked out great. One thing I didn't pay attention to when I purchased it was that the Esc and Print Screen keys were so small and I use those a lot on a daily basis. The mouse is perfect for my hand. The mouse that usually comes with our work computers feels very small in my hand, but this one feels a little larger and more comfortable. The scroll wheel is really smooth and doesn't click which is kind of nice, its the kind of thing you didn't know you wanted until you got it. The buttons on the side of the mouse are very easy to get to, but like I said I haven't been able to use them.

Best keyboard and mouse I've ever purchased. I have bought three wireless keyboards since the pandemic began and this is by far the best performer! The form and function is life changing. I don't have the arm fatigue I did with my last ergo keyboard from logitech.
I highly recommend this product!

Missing the old one!

I have been using this exact keyboard and mouse for many years. I ordered another one in December 2021 for my husband to give me as a Christmas present! I figured I might as well order what I really wanted. Anyway, I started using the new one right after Christmas, and right from the start, I was having issues with missing letters while typing a letter and the mouse not working properly when scrolling, etc. I figured I'd give it a while to work in. It is now May 2022 and the new one is worse than the old one. I don't know what is wrong and why it is behaving like this but I'm so disappointed in the new one. I'm contacting BestBuy to see if I can return it and get another one. I really like the design of the keyboard and the feel of the mouse. If the next one I get does the same thing, I don't know what I'm going to do.

Before buying this device I did a lot of research. I found it comes with a CD for programming the quick set keys on the keyboard. However it is not required to use the accessories, you can plug-n-chug or use the disc and setup quick keys. I did not setup the quick keys because of my desktop is not owned by me but with my company.

Pros:
It works.
ergo is okay.
Price was good.
Cons:
The usb dongle it 1"+ long, way to big by todays standards.
The mouse is to large also. SEE PIC. The small one was my old one, the large one is the one for the Microsoft system being reviewed.
You have to get use to deeper key strokes, much deeper than a laptop key board.
Overall, it is okay, but the size of the dongle means you cannot leave it plugged into the usb without risking damage. everything else is personal preference.

Installation was simple. I located the receiver dongle near the keyboard and mouse using a USB extension which took all of the erratic movement out of the mouse. All is now working perfectly!

Generally a good keyboard. The key action is smooth but nothing like a mechanical keyboard. The key spacing seems quite spread compared to my older keyboard and takes a bit of getting used to.
The mouse is a good size which is a nice change as its definitely a better fit for your hand than some of these other little things that are sold these days.
My only complaint is that sometimes when the computer is waking up from sleep the keyboard seems to take a while to connect to the computer resulting in you sitting there tapping keys to get it going. I've never had this problem with my older Logitech keyboard and hopefully it isn't something persistent otherwise it will get annoying. My company has a very aggressive screen lock out policy on our computers and I have to login about 10 times a day and a good 30% of those the keyboard isn't ready to go when I start typing.

Great keyboard. I already own 2 of these, one for home and one for work. I bought this as a spare since they can be hard to find in stock. I've used dozens of ergonomic keyboards and this is the most comfortable. Slightly curved but nothing radical. Keys have a nice travel and tactile feedback. The sound the keys make is just right, not too clacky or loud). The mouse is also good, but I bought this for the keyboard. Battery life is excellent (have not kept track, but I'd estimate only once a year). It does require use of a USB dongle (one for the keyboard and mouse combined).

Nice upgrade from a flat keyboard

I love this. A great upgrade from a flat keyboard but not as hard to get used to as a split keyboard. My hands and wrist feel great using this for over 9 hours per day 5-6 days per week. Batteries also lasted a while, I have had this for about 3 months and still going strong.
