Premium Feel and Precision in a Stunning Blue Fini
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller in blue, and it’s easily one of the best controllers I’ve ever used. Build Quality: The build is premium all around. The controller feels solid and has a nice weight to it, giving a sense of durability and precision. The textured grip is comfortable for long sessions, and the buttons, triggers, and joysticks are incredibly responsive. It’s clear that this controller is designed with gamers in mind. Customization: While this is the “Core” version, meaning it comes with fewer accessories compared to the full Elite package, you still get the elite performance. The ability to adjust trigger sensitivity and fine-tune the thumbstick tension makes a noticeable difference, especially in competitive games. For those who want extra paddles or swappable parts, they can be purchased separately, but the base controller alone still performs exceptionally well. Performance: The controller shines in responsiveness. Inputs feel faster and smoother compared to standard controllers, which is great for FPS, racing games, or any title where precision matters. I also appreciate the longer battery life—I’ve been able to go multiple gaming sessions without recharging. Design: The blue color is absolutely stunning and looks even better in person. It has a clean, vibrant finish that stands out without being flashy. It’s a great addition to any Xbox setup or for use with a Windows PC. Final Thoughts: If you’re a serious gamer looking for improved performance, comfort, and durability, the Elite Series 2 Core is worth it. Even without the extra accessories, this controller delivers on all fronts and feels like a huge upgrade over the standard Xbox controller. Highly recommended for gamers who want a competitive edge and a touch of style.

My favorite Controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had initially purchased the blue version of this controller and liked it so much that I decided to get the red version because I had spare cash and liked the red color. These are now the primary controllers I use and I only use the regular series x controllers when I have guests over or I want to let these controllers recharge. The paddles make playing many games a lot easier, especially if you play a few competitive multiplayer games. I also like the internal battery and the face that you can also charge the controller and continue to play if you want to. The hair lock triggers also feel nice for people who don't want to use as much force when pulling them, and the settings will mostly be uses for online shooters. These controllers are best for gamers who play a lot of competitive multiplayer games, need a lot of customization in their controller, or people who want a controller that has a long lasting battery life and does not need to be recharged that often. For everyone else, the standard Series X controllers will do just fine.

Great controller for the slightly more than casual
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disclaimer: I got this item on sale. I would never buy this full price, but that’s a matter of personal priorities. That being said, I love this controller! It’s weighted a good bit heavier than a normal Xbox controller, which is nice. The textured, rubberized grips are great for extended gameplay. If you are interested in the extra thumb sticks, paddles, and d pad they can be gotten on Amazon from 3rd party sellers for a lot less than Microsoft’s versions. You can map 3 different profiles for different games or play styles and change them easily with a switch on the controller. It anlso has a great battery life so far. Overall, great controller. Would recommend.

He has been wanting a new one and I don’t really know much about controls but this one is clean and very nice looking and it has different adjustable options. This is definitely a good investment if your partner plays games because this is controller is very easy to use the battery life on it last quite a while and as somebody who doesn’t really play games, it’s actually really easy to use, would recommend!

You get what you pay for. Pretty awesome.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core controller for a while now, and it’s honestly a game-changer. Customizable buttons are the greatest. The ability to swap out thumbsticks and adjust the trigger sensitivity also help a lot. It feels solid and substantial in your hands. The battery life, is a huge plus—no need to constantly charge it (though I usually do). It also survived a bluberry beer spill almost immediately after unboxing. Bonus. The only downside I've found is the price, which is why I took so long to buy one.

Best Controller I’ve Ever Had!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had it almost 8 months with no issues! It’s been responsive and so easy to connect to my PC. The only issue I had was easy to solve. I just had to download new drivers for it and haven’t had any issues since! Also! I love how customizable it is. Being able to change to a shorter trigger pull for shooters but then a longer trigger pull for driving games is so convenient and gives better overall control. Love it so much! I also love that it can easily be connected to my iPad for when my daughter wants to use it to play Roblox.

Goated Controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s got 4 additional buttons on the back you can re-map any buttons to make your gameplay that much more comfortable, you can adjust triggers to stop sooner if you want a quicker trigger finger. You can make the sticks stiffer to help combat drift sticks. You can also swap out the traditional D pad to the Omni pad (magnetic btw), and it’s equipped with silicon grips so it’s that much more comfortable in your hand. I honestly won’t be playing on any other controller. I forgot to mention, if you’re playing different games with different action controls (like Call of Duty vs Assassins Creed) you can set it up to make the paddles/buttons on the back have different “profiles” so you don’t get too confused about what buttons to press, just remember to switch back to the other button profiles when switching games (when necessary)

Best Budget Xbox Pro Controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really skeptical about purchasing an Xbox controller that retails for over twice the price of the standard one that comes with the one in the box, but I’m glad I did. Some reviews point out that stick drift is an issue with these, and luckily for me that issue hasn’t arisen for me yet (knock on wood). Once you get used to the feel of the Elite Series, you will fall in love. The texturized rubber handles help ensure you never lose your grip mid-session. Adjusting the resistance of the thumbsticks couldn’t be easier, same goes with the triggers. I love being able to choose the color of the Xbox logo that sits atop the controller, as simple as it may be. Three different presets lets you swap between different layouts and color combinations on the fly. My only gripe with this is of course the lack of hall-effect joysticks, and the D-pad. If you’re like me and are tough on your controllers by forcefully mashing buttons during intense situations, you may find that this controller is a deal breaker. The D-pad will come off way too easily. I debated purchasing the more expensive version of the Elite Series 2, but I’m glad I cheaped out. If I ever find that I do need the extra accessories, they’re just a $50 purchase away. Not to mention the nice colors you can choose from when it comes to the Core iteration. Give it a shot, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

New Look Same Issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*If you want to risk it with this controller DO BUY the Geek Squad Warranty.. Because if it does out last the return period it will eventually fail.* Pros: - Swappable thumbsticks & D-Pad - Grip - Paddle Ready - First Party Wireless Capability - 10 foot Cable - Very Sleek Looking - Swappable Profiles Cons: - Terrible QC - Same tired components - No Case - Terrible buttons - Terrible buttons - DId I mention terrible buttons? Microsoft claims there are new components in these controllers but they are literally the same as previous Elites of years past. Don't get me wrong there are many people that say they have had zero problems with their controllers but I myself have had quite the opposite experience. Out of the box this controller's A button would not register every press. As a heavy Rocket League player this literally spelt disaster. I would not hit my flip or I would double jump into the air looking like a Plat I... The grip and sticks were nice but I feel the face buttons and bumpers/triggers are ALWAYS the down fall of the Elite controllers. I have had 4 different Elites over the last 5-6 years and no longer have any of them due to defects. I have had double/triple pressing RB, stick drift, Face buttons ( Such as the A button with this one) not pressing or double pressing and Paddle buttons not registering as well... For this to be labeled a premium controller yet still be plagued with issues from 5+ years ago is INSANE. There are other alternatives out there both cheaper and more expensive that I would usher you towards instead of this.. PowerA Fusion Pro 2 (still ahs its issues) or the Scuf Instinct Pro (pricier than this).
