Gr8 design and form, wear and tear creeps up fast
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very heavy and sturdy controller, the additional paddles and buttons give it a lot more versatility to manage game play. Everything about it is sleek and high functioning. However there is some joystick drift after awhile and bumpers can start to lose sensitivity so keep in mind

It works.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best controller on the market, aside from the fact that you will still get stick drift and stuck bumpers and buttons.

Great with 1 issue
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this controller. Only issue is the bumpers only last about 1.5 years. On my 3rd one. But great controller.

Amazing controller!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the elite 2 controller, it’s perfect for gaming , the only con is approximately 1 year in the controller will start to “wear and tear” the grips on the sides will start to flap and the bumpers, and sticks will start to malfunction, I recommend getting the warranty and replacing your controller 9 months in!

Excellent<Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent condition but was pretty dirty. Nothing a qtip and isopropal couldnt handle. Within a month I’ve already encountered bumpers hitting twice when I hit them once, or sometimes not registering at all. In great condition apart from bumpers and surface dirtiness

Good replacement controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plays well, the paddles work and is a good replacement for when your original Xbox Elite Series 2 controller starts to get old. However, the bumpers of the controller seem unresponsive sometimes and may require you to press harder on them.

Great controller, prone to issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller, but the service plan is worth the money. If you play a lot you will eventually have an issue with the gimbals, bumpers or triggers. It is definitely a great controller loaded with features that will make you a more efficient player.

Terrible Quality controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gone through roughly 5-6 controllers in less then A YEAR!!!! Every single one suffered from stick drift. Then the bumpers fail, or triggers fail. Or it sounds like something disintegrated inside with alot of rattling. This is by far THE worst controller you could buy. I can not recommend this controller. As I write this review, I am getting ready to exchange my controller YET AGAIN DUE TO BUTTON FAILURE/ broken insides that rattle like non tomorrow. Its also very very small. Needs to be bigger for adults with large hands. I also own 2 controllers keeping one unopened until I return the other. My best buy total is insane and 100% worth it.

Not perfect but pretty good

Fantastic controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Elite controllers are awesome. Only issues I’ve noticed have been over time the bumpers start to become inconsistent. Gentle on the bumpers!

It’s gorgeous
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Almost had this controller a year, and the good it feels amazing, the texture, the perfect weight, perfect, the looks, just beautiful… The bad The bumpers are responsive 50% of the time, and it feels like there’s random hesitation after every few clicks of any of the buttons… google says that has been a pretty common issue

Excellent function, but unreliable
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is excellent from the standpoint of functionality, ergonomics, and customizability. It has everything from multiple profiles, customizable triggers, adjustable stick tension, swappable D-Pads, and 2-4 paddles depending on user preference. It's also basically plug and play on PC. Where it falls short is build quality. Despite being quite an expensive controller, it has only a 1 year warranty, which admittedly is up from the 90 days offered on the Elite v1. I have returned 7 of these in the last 4 years - they do not last. Stick drift, sticking triggers, and unresponsive bumpers (typically R1) are the most common issues. I don't think any of them have lasted a full year. They're also the same issues I had on the Elite v1. Given that it's almost a decade since the original Elite was released, I think it's clear the manufacturer isn't willing or able to address the quality control issues. This is underscored by the fact that a bare bones version (the Core) was released without the Series 2 accessories. Presumably this was to offer a lower cost option to people whose controllers had failed, and were out of warranty.

The Honest Review
|Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had elite controllers since day 1 so I'll be very honest about the controller itself without being biased in any way. The controller is a great upgrade from the regular one but it does comes with its downsides. One being the build quality over time, the controller seems to deteriorate at a quick amount of speed after a lots of use. I've had many with stick drift out of the box more frequently compared to buying a normal controller, bumpers wear out and give way and buttons do as well. That's the bad but the good is ease of use, the button mapping with the pads and their feel of how nice and metal they sound when you click them. The way you can personalize the sticks heights, and dead zone, and the actual app used for it is very intuitive. Overall, it depends on you if you need to upgrade for whatever circumstances you're in but the price tag is very costly given how the issues i presented do seem to kind of not make it a somewhat justifiable purchase but I'll leave that up to y'all

Great Controller.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. It’s great if you already own the elite 2 and have all the extra pieces. It’s easy to map buttons (on PC, I don’t use this with the Xbox) and love all the customization options on it. I’ve had decently good luck with the build quality although I’ve heard the bumpers break often. I would suggest getting a protection plan if you’re using it often, it’s worth it.

I love this controller but it's falling apart.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the hefty weight the controller has, and I can't play without the paddles anymore. However, after about a year of use the right bumper sometimes drops the input. while one of the paddles feel stiff. On top of if I squeeze it a little to hard it cuts off. And it randomly disconnects. I really love this controller. I just wish it lasted a little longer for the price tag

Elite Series two but is it really better?
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Elite controls are miles ahead of the game. Elite two takes one step forward and two steps back. Grip in my opinion is better, it does 3 saved profiles instead of 2 and has a shift key feature. The paddles on the back are made out of metal and good luck breaking them. Three settings on your tiggers for more control firing. My problem, bumpers, I've had about 10 elites 2 and all of them have the same problem, the bumpers go out within 6 to 12 months.

Good controller but the bumpers give out
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is great however the bumpers eventually give out and stop working. I am not a rager and I never throw or bang my controllers. However, my bumpers still have given out where it doesn’t function properly to where I had to use the paddles instead for it. The paddles do not come with the controller so I ordered an extra set from Amazon.

Great controller, but get the warranty!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second in four years. Right bumper broke on the first one, but geek squad replaced it. The new one is just starting to get stuck drift, so I'm going to get it replaced again before the warranty ends. Love the weight of the controller and it feels good. Definitely worth getting here so you can get it covered.
