Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller's high-quality build, excellent battery life, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate the customization options and the controller's overall feel and weight. Good replacement controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plays well, the paddles work and is a good replacement for when your original Xbox Elite Series 2 controller starts to get old. However, the bumpers of the controller seem unresponsive sometimes and may require you to press harder on them.

Fantastic controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Elite controllers are awesome. Only issues I’ve noticed have been over time the bumpers start to become inconsistent. Gentle on the bumpers!

Great Controller.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. It’s great if you already own the elite 2 and have all the extra pieces. It’s easy to map buttons (on PC, I don’t use this with the Xbox) and love all the customization options on it. I’ve had decently good luck with the build quality although I’ve heard the bumpers break often. I would suggest getting a protection plan if you’re using it often, it’s worth it.

Good controller but the bumpers give out
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is great however the bumpers eventually give out and stop working. I am not a rager and I never throw or bang my controllers. However, my bumpers still have given out where it doesn’t function properly to where I had to use the paddles instead for it. The paddles do not come with the controller so I ordered an extra set from Amazon.

Pros and cons
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love the design of these controllers especially being able to tighten the sticks, which if I’m being honest is really the only reason I’ve bought this controller 5 times now. Every single one has had either horrible stick drift or one of the bumpers stop working. Other than that love the controllers. Also they all lose stiffness in the sticks when they are tightened over time.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The elite controller is great, I've had a couple of series 1 and 2. I would recommend the protection plan, the controller will break in some capacity, all pro controllers are infamous for this, whether it be stick drift, grips pealing, broken bumpers, or broken charging port, something will eventually go wrong with it.

Great controller with some flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally gave up on my only elite 2 controller as the bumpers were becoming very unresponsive. I bought this controller sense I have all the elite 2 stuff from the other controller. My only complaint is that when I bought this controller the 3rd trigger stop on the left trigger made it unresponsive and I have read other places where people were having this issue. Instead of returning it which would’ve been a hassle, I took apart the controller and filed down the area where the trigger hits the trigger stop. After I got it fixed and put back together it works like intended and still is one of my favorite controller but I just the fact that I had to fix it myself when it can broken was kinda frustrating when I know plenty of people who wouldn’t even know how to fix it and just return it is annoying

Honest review.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, I would get it on sale. I have the core model which does not come with the paddles. The quality of this controller is very premium. The side handles are very grippy. The bumpers and triggers are could be better. There are a little on the soft side. The thumbsticks are very grippy and swappable with other colors. The D-pad is the best. It is made of aluminum and feels so good. I would get another one when the time comes.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. The trigger hardstops are my favorite part of the controller. Bumpers can show wear quickly tho in my opinion

Good controller one downside
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great controller. Only downside is that my last couple ES2 controllers had their bumpers wear out over time. Usually about a year.

Good product with a big downside
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. However, at first, it did take a little to get used to the feeling in the hand coming from a regular controller. However, when I'm playing FPS games, I can definitely notice a difference and cannot go back to a regular controller now. I will say the reliability of this item is not that great. Only 5 months in the bumpers are not as responsive, sometimes not at all. I would say this is worth the price, but just be aware of the longevity.

Great controller, awful build quality.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd Elite series 2 controller. The first two had issues with the bumpers (one right after the one year warranty, the second one almost at 6months). The controller itself offers great utility but for whatever reason the bumpers fail to stand the test of time.

Quality control issues with buttons
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great feel but still suffers same issues from the first elite 2 controller. I’m a competitive gamer that used this controller pretty heavily. Within 5 the months of use, the R1 and L1 bumpers experienced loss of function. Pretty frustrating. I did get the insurance and got another one for replacement. It did fall under the Microsoft warranty but in the past, I didn’t have a good experience with them. Takes days to receive the controller and they didn’t even fix the problem. So if you plan on getting this controller, I highly recommend getting geek squad insurance. They’ll replace right on the spot. Still a solid controller for gaming.

Elite
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great set of sticks and remapping is awesome. Have had a few of the elites over the years and the only downside is one of the bumpers is almost guaranteed to start going around the 15+ months mark.

Warrenty, warrenty, warrenty
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When buying these controllers take out the warrenty as you will need it. Left and right bumpers go out as my previous ones did. With that being said stick tension adjustment and paddels make a huge difference in game play and the controller feels great ergonomicly. Love my Elite controller just wish there was better life to bumpers.
