New Look Same Issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*If you want to risk it with this controller DO BUY the Geek Squad Warranty.. Because if it does out last the return period it will eventually fail.* Pros: - Swappable thumbsticks & D-Pad - Grip - Paddle Ready - First Party Wireless Capability - 10 foot Cable - Very Sleek Looking - Swappable Profiles Cons: - Terrible QC - Same tired components - No Case - Terrible buttons - Terrible buttons - DId I mention terrible buttons? Microsoft claims there are new components in these controllers but they are literally the same as previous Elites of years past. Don't get me wrong there are many people that say they have had zero problems with their controllers but I myself have had quite the opposite experience. Out of the box this controller's A button would not register every press. As a heavy Rocket League player this literally spelt disaster. I would not hit my flip or I would double jump into the air looking like a Plat I... The grip and sticks were nice but I feel the face buttons and bumpers/triggers are ALWAYS the down fall of the Elite controllers. I have had 4 different Elites over the last 5-6 years and no longer have any of them due to defects. I have had double/triple pressing RB, stick drift, Face buttons ( Such as the A button with this one) not pressing or double pressing and Paddle buttons not registering as well... For this to be labeled a premium controller yet still be plagued with issues from 5+ years ago is INSANE. There are other alternatives out there both cheaper and more expensive that I would usher you towards instead of this.. PowerA Fusion Pro 2 (still ahs its issues) or the Scuf Instinct Pro (pricier than this).

Honest Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is an absolute upgrade over a regular controller. I like the weight to it, also the trigger locks and other characteristics it has. But, be warned, buy a warranty for it. After awhile, like all Cbox controllers you get stick drift or buttons that dont work.

The Best, But get Insurance!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best controller I ever used in all my years of gaming, yet the biggest Lemon in controllers. I'm on my 4th Elite II controller & it has huge issues in Stick-Drift & the LB/RB not working. The little rubber nubs on the trigger stops tend to just fall off & the rubber on the analog sticks wear very easily. I seriously advise you get the total tech insurance on Any controller, but it is Severly needed for this one. Aside from its faults, the best feeling, highly customizable controller I ever used. Microsoft, fix this thing.

Best controller I have owned sweep sweep
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this controller for a little over a year now and it is the best I’ve owned. Most controllers overtime will develop stick drift, this one has lasted and has a nice feel and function.

So far so good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read alot of reviews about stick drift and issues with the elite and elite core. I’ve have had no issues so far and really enjoying the controller. I’ve had it for a couple weeks and pretty happy! I bought scuff paddles off amazon which i prefer over the microsoft paddles.

Works good, bumpers are sticky
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good controller, I’ve been using it for the past 7 months. There is no stick sway and all the buttons are working fine, except the left bumper is having some difficulty. I usually have to press it closer to the right side for it to have any input. Besides that, pretty good upgrade from your standard controller. (The paddles are also really great, they just don’t come with the controller, and not many games on Xbox have compatibility for them.)

RED SERIES 2 ELITE
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. I've been using the elite series 2 controller for years now. Saw this red one on sale during Christmas so I bought it to swap with my normal black one. I always test them after updating and every button and switch worked fine, with no stick drift. Swapped the sticks and Dpad buttons to give both of my controllers a unique look. I use my paddles frequently to play so I can't even use standard controllers anymore.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller! I used to have the elite series one but the back paddles started having issues after a few years. I like the paddles from the series one better, so I put them on this controller and they work great! The rubber grips are great and the trigger adjustments are better.

Get Insurance
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This joystick defiently is better than the regular xbox joystick. I am not a heavy gamer, I game once everyother day for one hour or two. And Ive actually seen my self progress through out the games I play. It gives you advantage and makes you rely on those extra buttons. I cant game with any regular joystick now. And after 6 month of owning it, I started encountering slight stick drift. And after a month complete stick drift. Now its unusable, so be mindful to get Insurance.

So worth it, buy on sale + geek squad protection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is DEFINITELY way higher quality than the basic xbox controllers. The ability to create custom button mappings for different games is awesome. The paddles take time to get used to using, but once you master them you will see a major difference in your competitiveness on FPS games. The controller also allows you to adjust the stiffness of the analog sticks, and adjust the tension of the triggers which also helps give you a slight edge. The gripped handles mixed with the weight of the controller make the controller sit perfectly in your hands. I have read some complaints about the controller having drift issues, and bumper problems in the future. I have not had this issue yet, however I would say do what I did: buy the controller on sale or have bestbuy price match a competitor, and spend the difference on geek squad protection. (I bought the controller for $100 using price match, than spent basically the difference on geeksquad protection. This basically equated to the same price as the controller) doing that gives you 2 years of protection.

Xbox Elite Controller Series 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been my first xbox elite controller and it has been the best controller ever. It feels amazing in hand and has a nice weight to it! The sticks don’t stick at all and they glide around with ease! I also love that I can change the d-pad and the analog sticks. I got the white controller and ordered some purple paddles, analog sticks, and d-pad and it looks amazing! Would definitely recommend this controller to anyone that enjoys to game!

Best controller ever
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last controller had stick drift so I went to the store to buy a new one and just as I was about to get the basic standard controller I saw this one and thought “eh screw it it’s only $20-$30 more” best decision ever because feel great and love the customization

Buy the reg version.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good gaming controller. Depending on how you treat your controllers it'll get stick drift. I use this controller only for fighting and fps games. The stick drift does t move on its own. The extra button only in handy with farming/ mining games. The extra buttons are not customizable. Just an extension for the other buttons xyba. Other than that it's a great buy. Feels good in the hands has a good weight

Probably most responsive controller I’ve owned.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life is great. Responsive and latency are great and controller is comfortable. After some use there was some wander but it’s very minimal compared to other controllers. Pricey but worth it.

Quality build
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recommend, especially if you already have an elite or elite accessories. Without the accessories I do not think it is worth it. In my case i have an ild elite with stick drift and stuck buttons that is no longer under warranty. Bought this as a cheaper alternative as all of the additions work with it as well.
