Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller's high-quality build, excellent battery life, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate the customization options and the controller's overall feel and weight. However, customers are negative about the prevalence of stick drift issues reported by some users, as well as concerns about the durability of certain buttons and bumpers. The positive feedback on features like customization and feel is frequently offset by negative experiences with controller longevity.

The Best, But get Insurance!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best controller I ever used in all my years of gaming, yet the biggest Lemon in controllers. I'm on my 4th Elite II controller & it has huge issues in Stick-Drift & the LB/RB not working. The little rubber nubs on the trigger stops tend to just fall off & the rubber on the analog sticks wear very easily. I seriously advise you get the total tech insurance on Any controller, but it is Severly needed for this one. Aside from its faults, the best feeling, highly customizable controller I ever used. Microsoft, fix this thing.

Works good, bumpers are sticky
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good controller, I’ve been using it for the past 7 months. There is no stick sway and all the buttons are working fine, except the left bumper is having some difficulty. I usually have to press it closer to the right side for it to have any input. Besides that, pretty good upgrade from your standard controller. (The paddles are also really great, they just don’t come with the controller, and not many games on Xbox have compatibility for them.)

Good replacement controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plays well, the paddles work and is a good replacement for when your original Xbox Elite Series 2 controller starts to get old. However, the bumpers of the controller seem unresponsive sometimes and may require you to press harder on them.

Get Insurance
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This joystick defiently is better than the regular xbox joystick. I am not a heavy gamer, I game once everyother day for one hour or two. And Ive actually seen my self progress through out the games I play. It gives you advantage and makes you rely on those extra buttons. I cant game with any regular joystick now. And after 6 month of owning it, I started encountering slight stick drift. And after a month complete stick drift. Now its unusable, so be mindful to get Insurance.

Great..but maybe too elite for me.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller feels great! The grips are comfortable, and having a rechargeable battery was something Xbox needed to do years ago. I enjoy the fact that you can replace the sticks, and that is what convinced me to pay the extra money for this "elite" controller. I play on a PC, and changing so much of the controller was a plus. Unfortunately, I found the buttons less responsive than previous controllers. There is a huge input lag, and I have adjusted so many settings. I play Rocket League and could not complete complicated movements with this controller. This could be a 100% user error and not knowing how to customize the controller to the settings I need fully. I admit that. I'm returning and going for the standard Xbox controller that I love and know... and have to buy every 6-8 months.

Decent Controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is nice but after about a month or two I’m noticing some stick drift. Not the happiest about it but otherwise pretty good.

Durability issues
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to the Elite Series 2, this controller seems much less durable. Dropped it one time and I’ve had intermittent issues with my left bumper due to it. Decided to take the front shell off to attempt to fix the bumper just to find out the shell was destroyed on the inside. Before the drop I had little to no issues just wish the product was a bit more sturdy

Meh some good some bad
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven’t had for that long and the right bumper sticks for a half second longer then it needs to so it acts like I hit the bumper 3 times some stick drift within the first 3 weeks of use (keep in mind I play competitive cod and some others ) compared with the regular controllers the weight difference is night and day all around better then the controller you would get with the console

Meh
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Average controller, if you own the elite 2 parts or buy them with it its a slightly above average controller. It has a great feel to it, a tad lighter than original elite series 2. Unfotunately I recieved 2 that withing 2 weeks of recieving i realized was plagued with the same rb lb double or triple click. If that issue was panned out it would be a better buy. The thumbsticks do seem to be better put together than original elite 2, no stick drift out of box. I wouldn't reccomend unless you have the parts for elite 2 already as buying them will net more than just buying elite series 2. Even if you do have the larts be aware you still run the risk of infamous double click.

Great controller with some flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally gave up on my only elite 2 controller as the bumpers were becoming very unresponsive. I bought this controller sense I have all the elite 2 stuff from the other controller. My only complaint is that when I bought this controller the 3rd trigger stop on the left trigger made it unresponsive and I have read other places where people were having this issue. Instead of returning it which would’ve been a hassle, I took apart the controller and filed down the area where the trigger hits the trigger stop. After I got it fixed and put back together it works like intended and still is one of my favorite controller but I just the fact that I had to fix it myself when it can broken was kinda frustrating when I know plenty of people who wouldn’t even know how to fix it and just return it is annoying

Would have been a keeper if not for the itchy palm
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like this controller, it felt very solidly well made, except for just one annoying thing: the rubber or latex or whatever material the black side grips are made of made my palms very itchy. Im not sure why. If it did not do that, i probably would have happily kept using this controller. Heres hoping microsoft uses a different, non itchy material for their future elite series 3 controller, if and when they release it.

Almost Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These controllers are the most comfortable options available. The rear buttons are placed perfectly and the battery lasts forever. I've unfortunately had to return/exchange a couple due to stick drift. If they could figure that out, it would be the perfect controller.

Some Stick Drift out of the box
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a solid controller, but I wouldn't say elite. There is a little bit of drift on the right thumbs tick. This can be reduced through the Xbox Accessory App. but from what reviews I have read, this is a fairly normal issue with these controllers. I would say it is worth the Black Friday $100 price point but would recommend going a different way at higher retails.

Ehh
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid materials but the contriller seems to get stick drift extreme fast. It also randonly loses connection a lot. Its definitely not worth full price mayne not even a sale. Consider other controllers first.

Swing and a miss for Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Straight out of the box controller had massive stick drift. Both thumb sticks have serious drift and has been an issue the entire time I have owned. Did not have this issue with previous gen. Had high hopes but unfortunately this controller is not a home run, single at best.

Its an upgrade from the regular controller but..
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The removable paddle,d-pad, and thumb grips are nice and the trigger locks are cool. But 2 months in and i got bad stick drift. Customer sevice for 1 year warranty that comes with it is arguably the worst part of this whole thing . That alone makes the controller not worth it honestly. I like the feel and weight and the portable charging dock with the controller . All in all decent controller but i think im a try the scuff controller next

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love being able to customize and controls work well. Do not like that you have to buy additional package for paddles and customization. Returned one because of stick drift. This one has minor stick drift already. Works well with my Xbox Series X.
