Good keyboard that meets most needs

I have had and used this keyboard for about a month now in my job as a computer engineer. I really like it and find it a definite improvement over the wireless bluetooth Mac keyboard I used previously. While not a perfect fit for the Mac, it is a close enough analogue that this is now my "daily driver" and I really appreciate how "easier" on the wrists it is. I was able to remap most of the relevant keys using the Mac keyboard utility without the need for third party software. The learning curve was not too steep, however, the placement of the angle of the "r" key means I often miss this letter do to the way that I position my hands on the keyboard. This is a loss of one star for this angle issue and the fact that it lacks native Mac compatibility. This keyboard is definitely designed for the class touch typist and the "hunt and peck" kind will not find it very useable. Again, the learning curve is not large, the health benefits are significant, so take the time to let this keyboard help you learn to type properly and you will never regret it. Battery life has been good. The mouse is only a right handed mouse (and "I have news for you--I am not right handed!), so it has been of limited use for me. The wireless number pad has not been used or evaluated by me. One strong word of caution. Each dongle is paired specifically with the keyboard permanently (according to Microsoft), so if you lose it or wish to have one for travel--that is NOT AN OPTION. This may be a deal breaker for some--it almost was for me. This is the loss of the second star. Overall, this is an excellent keyboard the drops to average for a Mac user because of design issues. It is a 4 star keyboard for the PC users. I would buy it again. I think it is a good purchase.

I have a nice desk with a drawer that needs a small keyboard. This ergonomic keyboard fits the bills. There is a bit of a learning curve with relearning where all the keys are, but once I did, I took off writing with speed.

This keyboard is very ergonomic. I have used several models over the years and I was avoiding hefty prices, but finally got tired of straining my wrists and hand and bought it. Best decision made regarding keyboards. I wish I had bought it sooner. Hand position is very natural. The one thing I notice, is that there is a small learning curve for certain positions of keys. I have owned it for about a month now and I recommend it.

Purchased this combo for work computer. Have been using it for months & love it. Helped reduce strain on my wrists. There was slight learning curve to adjust to hand placement but within first week I had it. Would buy again in the future.

I tried this keyboard due to the fact that the keypad was separate. However, I found the keyboard awkward to use. Due to the split design, your fingers do not automatically sit on the same keys as with a normal keyboard. I did not care to go through a relearning process to ensure I hit the correct keys, so I returned the product.

Keyboard takes some getting use to. But it is manageable.
