Horrible battery life, exchangeable battery helps
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Minor improvements over the Xbox one wireless controller. Button layouts doesn’t feel very natural to me. Battery life is horrible especially compared to PS 5 DualSense. However the ability to change out rechargeable battery packs or use disposable AA’s is a life safer. You can play virtually non-Stop Without having to recharge the controller. It comes in a variety of colors the only difference I’ve noticed is the price tag. Different color same controller. You can still use Xbox One wireless controllers with series X/S. Not sure if this is backwards compatible with Xbox One, though I would assume so.

Beautiful controller but short lived
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the controller, but I am disappointed that I had to log in today to review my warranty due to drift issues, and my D-pad having double inputs 7 months after I bough this. Would give the design a 5/5. It is beautiful, doesn't show any signs of wear and tear (I also do take care of it well), and it's super comfortable with the two-tone grips in the back of the controller. For the price, and because of the "premium edition" marketing behind it, I would have expected it to last longer.

Works great, but not off Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to use on my Windows PC, was a little misrepresented by its ease to connect requiring another special adapter I did not invest in which was disappointing but alas still no issue! My reason for a lower review is that it is not wireless for my PC so sadly that dropped it pretty heavily. Quality is still good though after all these years, does not feel cheap or poorly made.

Works great but connectivity sucks
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller, the grips, the triggers everything, but there’s one error that’s got me wanting to take it back. The connectivity is terrible. Every game I’ve played tells me there’s no available controllers if I go idle for 6 seconds. (Base Xbox One btw) not sure about other people but this is really off putting. I’d recommend this to a friend but it’s in the middle since the connectivity is really rolling a pair of dice.

Impressive color/feel; poor quality control
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most impressive about this controller is the color/feel. The unique color change and finish makes this appealing to look at. The rubberized handles also help in comfort/grip. These controllers still suffer from quality control issues and I've come to expect faulty rubber foam pads (behind triggers resulting in the "sticky triggers"), shoulder plastic button failures, etc. On this controller after a few days use, the left joystick shows chipping at the bevel (see photo). I don't see this on my other controllers (in white, black). It could be just mine but I expect others are experiencing the same. Bluetooth (native Windows option) also faulty as has been documented (button mapping wrong, drift, etc.)

Average wireless XBOX Series X controller
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Average wireless XBOX Series X controller. Good for what it is,but my opinion is that they are all over priced. The quality should be better for having to pay $70.00. Or options like the elite with replacement parts available, not just having to to replace or use warranties. Without having to pay double around $180.00 for it.

Bluetooth connection occasionally spotty
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks nice, and has good grip. It has Intermittent connection issues though. Works fine more often than not. Its bluetooth with no dongle which is why I got this originally. Only will work with mobile phones if the game supports it. Reusable battery packs will work if you dont feel like burning through batterys.

1 year life expectancy ??
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All is good.having said that, my last controller was the exact same, but red. It lasted a year until the left joystick stated acting weird. It would be nice to get more than a year out of a “legitimate “ product that costs a good amount.

If you need a secondary controller it’s solid
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok a few things one it’s not the elite which can be nice as a secondary controller. But understand that means if your planning on charging it forget the elite charging case it won’t work. That being said it does not come with the usb power cord or a charging battery so plan on feeding this between every 6 to 8 hours of straight gameplay of two AA batteries.

Xbox controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Personally I feel like the Xbox one controllers are poorly made, but we got a great deal (charged what they really should be priced at with Microsoft’s easily broken products.~$40). Best Buy deserves 5*, but they didn’t get it because Microsoft makes their products too easily broken and overpriced.

Great controller, misleading photos
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller build quality is great. The photos however are very misleading. It’s a very plastic red, not the satiny painted red that the images make it out to be.

De-sync
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A basic controller. I dont even use it anymore because if it disconnected via a loose battery or dying it would not sync back to my Xbox Series S Console. I had to turn of my xbox and turn it back on just to sync back up. For this reason 3 stars. PS The screenshot button is very annoying but you cant get around that on these newer controllers.
