I am already having problems with the controller i’ve tooken good care of it and it already has a lot of stick drift so much to the point where it’s hardly even impossible to play any game, it was brand new and already has stick drift.

Yeah, so i ordered and exellent condition Open Box controller for more than a new. Yeah i know dumb but had gift cards and the wife wanted a Pink Dream Vapor and out of stock new. It is suppose to be like new, almost no imperfections and in the original box. The box it came in looked like it was opened by a 5 year old. The controller has some rather questionable stains on and never cleaned. I have not used it yet, but already guessing it’ll have issues. Maybe they shouldn’t let ANY cashier do trade-ins and have some kind of quality check.

Got stick drifting issue after using it for 5 months. I am not a pro gamer and I used it about 2 to 3 times a week. I understand controllers are not gonna last forever, but lasting for less than half a year is ridiculous.

This isn’t a review of the controller itself, which is unfair to Microsoft because the controller itself IS awesome. This is a review of the Open Box controller I picked up today. Whoever accepted the return, and whoever approved it for resale as Open Box, obviously didn’t look at the controller. There was food and other debris caked in the crevices all the way around the casing and buttons. Disgusting. I know I’m buying a SLIGHTLY used product when it’s Open Box, that’s the trade-off, BUT, c’mon, don’t resell disgusting items. Back it goes.

Ordered an “Open Box: Excellent” condition controller and received my package shortly after. The controller had a stark grey scuff on the left side and another circular grey scuff on the right side, as well as a layer of dust over the entire surface of the controller. BestBuy describes “Open Box: Excellent” as “A product that looks and works like new” which was not what I received. I tried to contact BestBuy over chat to get it sorted. I was fine with the scuff as long as I got a partial refund for the difference of if the condition of the item was “good” or “fair”. They refused to give me a partial refund and told me to go return it at my closest BestBuy which is over 2 hours away. I’m frustrated because I now have to waste my precious time talking to reps and get this sorted because BestBuy falsely advertised the condition of my order. I’ve ordered a few Open Box items from here before and never had any issues, but not this time. Not shopping here anymore if BestBuy continues to refuse to help me out with an issue they created.

Had 2 months with unfixable joystick drift just now starting. Can't return and also it's outside of warranty with microsoft. I dropped too much money for an item that doesn't work. Would not recommend.

It is not a legit headset. I have two controllers and this was going to be my back up but it’s defective. I am unable to use my gaming headsets with this controller b/c the volume is super low. I use other the other controller and it works just fine.

Bought this controller almost a month ago, and immediately noticed the right trigger gets stuck. Super annoying for a brand new controller, especially considering the price! Trying to return it has been a huge hassle as well bc no store has the same color in stock, and I'm not willing to wait in line for half an hour in a crowded store during a pandemic. Overall extremely dissatisfied with my experience buying this product.

I'm giving it only one star, and it is not to the controller. It is to the open box deals best buy offers. The controller came dirty with a sticky white thing. If best buy is offering open box items at a discounted price, can you at least clean them?

The button right stick makes the player point up inside the video game and Xbox won’t allow another controller very disappointed

It’s ok for me as a new Xbox person the controls is too big to me tho

Not durable enough. Bought it on Dec 2020. Performance is deteriorating. Left stick response is down, It needs to be flicked twice to execute the command. Although it worked fine at the beginning, now I am super disappointed.

Remote came without back to cover batteries and is now defective amd no longer returnable. Remote also came a little dirty couldve been wiped down and with all the parts considering the description for the excellent open box is that it comes with all original pieces:(

I'm a dad that used to be a hardcore gamer. Started getting back into it. One joystick became loose then just flopped all over with no input. Buying it 6 months ago and maybe 40 hours on it I tore it apart. I've never seen this in all my life or kids life of gaming. But the first time I bought a different colored controller.

I have had this controller for less than a month and it just stopped working 2 days ago. Will not sync to my Series S or my wife's Xbox 1 X. No matter what i do it will not connect to any Xbox i have. Very disappointed.

It was damaged when opened. We will need to return for a replacement. One of the joy sticks has no tension. Just wobbles and falls when you tilt the remote controller from side to side.

Stood in like for 20 min to pick up Then when they handed it to me the was a tear in the box - one box had the sticker on top of the tear so you won’t notice right away

Finish chipping away from multiple areas on controller

The controller looks good but after Month the buttons are sticking bad….
