Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the spacious interior of the 28.8 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Built-In Smart Refrigerator with Dispenser. However, several customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that handles need to be purchased separately and the noise it makes while running. Some have even described the noise as "annoying" and "like a plane landing in my house."

We call it The Vault. Nothing like a huge fridge that you can see everything inside. I couldn’t be happier with it and love G E Minogram service. This is my 3rd one.

The fridge looks great in the space. Fridge keeps things cold... but in all reality the looks are deceiving and the shallow design doesn't even allow for you to put a large pizza box in the fridge. Forget having a catering platter stored in there. Yes, you can see all the food in your fridge but that is because there is no way to put things behind each other. You have to order and pay for door handles separately which is ridiculous and adds about $350 more to the bill. Dealing with installation has been a nightmare. Scratches and dings on the fridge, on my brand new tile floor from second installation people trying to get the fridge into place. The measurements online don't mention they need only 47.5 inches in width and they won't install without those measurement to hold to warranty. This was told to me from the third appointment installers. So very disappointed in this experience.

a specialist came a day prior to installation to measure the space and gave a recommendation to move the outlet to the right side, which was performed by my electician. When installation group came, they noted that outlet was in a wrong place and asked me to move the left side. So I called electrian again, then, the refrigerator was insralled, however, it did not have two handles. I was on the phone to ask rectification for two hours, but could not get it resolved. One representative asked me to claim warranty to GE, which absolutely did not make sense. I visited the store where I make a purchase, and when I told that handles were missing, the employee in appliance told me that it is because I did not pay for it and it will cost around $500, including installation. How can Best Buy allow this to happen? I had to think about deeply why this was happening to me. In short, it was one of the worst experience I had ever had in making a purchase

GE monogram Fridge side-by-side with many issues

The water dispenser started leaking first day ownership and after a week of ownership it was making a annoying high-pitched noise when the refrigerator was running. The stainless steel had imperfections, burn mark in a corner of the door. Freezer section Lighting needs to be improved, when the food is in the freezer the light is block and you can’t see what’s in the freezer. I’m not sure why $11,000 refrigerator side by side would have these imperfections? why does it cost so much compared to a normal refrigerator side-by-side? We had to return the refrigerator and go with something else. Best Buy was amazing through this whole process and appreciate all there help and amazing service.

Wanting to replace a slowly failing refrigerator, we thought it would save time to make the purchase from Best Buy. During the second of two very long phone conversations, I was advised that I could only get it done by visiting the store (in FWy), because we intended to purchase accessory panels to cover the doors. Nobody in the store knew anything about the product. An hour spent in the store was spent watching people make phone calls. We eventually were shown the computer images of the refrigerator, and we made the purchase. A few weeks later, the refrigerator was delivered, but WITHOUT HANDLES. The delivery people were stumped, as were we. Even though we dealt with five or six different people to make the purchase, nobody thought to include handles. On that day we made calls to BB to inquire about the handles, but were told that they were backordered for a month.

My fridge was just delivered today so I can't speak for the performance yet. My bad review is based on the fact that the handles for this fridge are sold separately. It is absurd that handles would be an add-on item for a fridge at this price point. Expect to pay another $250 (pre-tax) for door handles. Very disappointed in GE for doing this. The last model included handles with the price. I would have purchased something else but all my other appliances are Monogram and the fridge I was replacing was a Monogram. I did not want to deal with the cut out being different for a different brand. Just writing this review to warn others about the additional cost for this fridge.

I am utterly dismayed by the appalling incompetence and misleading information provided by Best Buy throughout my recent purchase experience. As a customer who spent a substantial $13,000 on a refrigerator, I expected a level of service that was nothing short of exemplary. Regrettably, Best Buy failed catastrophically on multiple fronts, leaving me utterly dissatisfied. My ordeal began with the initial confirmation at the Best Buy store, where I explicitly inquired about the inclusion of door handles for the refrigerator I intended to purchase. To my dismay, despite assuring me on at least five separate occasions that the handles were part of the package, it was shockingly revealed that they are not included. This level of misinformation from the in-store representatives is nothing short of unacceptable, especially when dealing with a purchase of this magnitude. After enduring a torturous wait of three weeks for the delivery, which was rescheduled due to Best Buy's inexplicable cancellation without any prior notice, I was informed that the door handles I was assured of obtaining would take an additional three weeks to be available. This logistical mess could have been somewhat tolerable if the representatives were knowledgeable and forthcoming with accurate information. The frustration deepened when I contacted Best Buy's customer service seeking clarification, only to be met with the revelation that the product description shown to the representatives explicitly states in bold letters, "Door handles purchased separately," a fact that was never disclosed to me during my multiple in-store confirmations. This egregious oversight has cost me not only time but also the additional 10% cash-back benefit I could have availed myself of with the Best Buy card, which I am now unjustly denied due to this misinformation. To add insult to injury, the only available option for me to obtain the handles is a 30-minute journey to a distant store for delivery in three weeks, as my local store had an extended delivery timeframe, and home delivery carried an exorbitant additional fee of $100. Such a convoluted and impractical process for an essential component of the purchase is simply preposterous and an absolute inconvenience. In conclusion, the disarray surrounding this purchase has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with Best Buy's abysmal customer service, misleading information, and lack of accountability. A transaction of this scale should have been accompanied by a seamless and hassle-free experience, yet Best Buy's incompetence has marred what should have been a straightforward process. This entire debacle has severely tarnished my perception of Best Buy as a reliable retailer and has certainly eroded any willingness to recommend their services to others.

A beautiful stainless steel built-in refrigerator loaded with features and thoughtful details. Admittedly, it would have been nicer if there weren't such supply chain issues (bought it in August, and was installed in March), but there was nothing that could be done about that.

DO NOT BUY. Have owned for two years, nothing but trouble. The ice maker is pitiful (we're on our third). The doors have never aligned. We bought the 48" to avoid the need for a second fridge, but now have a second fridge in the garage so that we can have ice. GE engineers should be ashamed of this unit. Now a grinding has started somewhere up on top behind the maintenance hood. I am very unhopeful that service will be of any use.

    DO NOT BUY MONOGRAM PRODUCTS

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

DO NOT BUY MONOGRAM PRODUCTS. I spent $20k for our new remodel and not one of our products work and customer service is HORRIBLE. I’ve been trying to get all of my new products working for 8 months and all they keep doing is sending different appliance companies out to fix things, which really entails them just ordering parts to comeback again in three weeks, to not work again, to order new parts etc. Let me be clear too- I am under warranty as well. UNDER WARRANTY. Finally, on some of the products they have agreed to replace them, but they will not pay for the labor to take out the old units and install the new. Not to mention all of these units I bought were panel front top of the line, so then you have to pay for the panels to be installed which can easily be another $1k-2k. I’ve already spent that to install them the first time. Spend the extra money to buy wolf sub zero products. We have their range and their customer service is unbelievable. Moving forward we will only buy sub zero/wolf.
