Has the right amount of outlets for my needs. Includes $250,000 protection warranty.

I was in the market for another power strip when I found this one at Best Buy. This power strip had an extra bonus feature that I hadn't expected; it has 2 USB power ports as well as 8 places for power cords. I have a lamp permanently plugged in and I can charge my tablet and phone while powering my laptop at the same time. These USB ports possibly get used more than the standard outlets.

Love Monster products especially the power surge protector. Well worth the extra money. Has plenty of outlets and usb's. Monster is the only surge protectors we buy. Have 3 of them. Electronics are expensive and a good investment. So I recommend spending the extra money for the monster surge protector. What's a little more money when you have thousands already invested in your electronics?

I was looking for a power strip that wouldn't blow out after my old one did after a power outage. So I went to my local best buy, automatically knew monster's products are top of the line and then also saw that this surge protector had more outlets than my previous one. It was definitely a no brainer on getting this for all of my electronics for my entertainment center.

I'm very pleased with my Monster - Core Power 800 USB 8-Outlet Surge Protector. Eight outlets plus two usb charger ports make it very useful. Two of the outlets are a little farther apart so you can plug in bigger plugs. The rest are bunched right beside each other (3 and 3) so only smaller plugs will fit if you want to use them all. Overall good product.

Liked the two usb ports. 8 total outlets i couldnt imagine needing more

I have all my computer and TVs (and accessories) on surge protection. This offers a convenient way to protect and charge my IPads, IPhones and other USB chargeable devices.

Purchased this to consolidate charger blocks for computers, iPads, cell phones,etc. Currently have 6 blocks plugged in with no loss of charge rates even with all devices plugged in. Having the two USB outlets at the front allows for quick and convenient connection of other miscellaneous devices ( cameras, remotes).

The strip has everything I was looking for: 8 electrical outlets, and 2 USB charger with one for phone/MP3 and the other for tablets. Absolutely no problems charging multiple items and having several outlets operating various electronics and even a microwave. House has funky wiring, so this seems to be protecting adequately. Would highly recommend!

We simply were looking for a surge protector for recent TIV purchase and selected the Monster - Core Power 800 USB 8-Outlet. The USB charging capacity is helpful with other devices, and plenty of spaces for additional plug ins if needed. One month, no issues. With lightening storms, nice to know there's extra protection.

looking for something to plug in multiple gaming units and home entertainment, surround sound and like the usb to plug in cooling fans for my receiver.

Great power outlet with surge protector. It's wide so big connectors won't flip ot on it's side. Also it has 2 separated outlets so you can plug 2 big conectors without blocking the ones on the side. And it has 2 usb connections so you can plug your phone charger or so many thing that use usb to charge this days.

Was looking for a new surge protector for my computer setup but without the crazy expensive price. 8 outlets 2 USB protected ports perfect for my gaming setup. Very pleased

I got this for protecting all my entertainment center devices. Didn't need a unit with battery backup there. Has lots of outlets. The white color makes it easy to find outlets in a dark corner. Haven't had a any recent lightning blasts to test it, thankfully.

Chose this surge protector for daughter's college dorm room. She has many electronics to charge with limited wall outlets. The school is in an area that has many electrical storms and we needed something reliable with an equipment warranty of $250,000. It has space for 8 outlets plus 2 USB ports built in. I had already purchased an additional charging block with more USB ports. The heavy duty 6 ft cord was able to reach from under the bed to the window sill near her desk. Thinking of getting more for home to upgrade current ones. Good investment.

Always keep you receipts because they can go out i had a rocket fish that started sparking and smoking and i could have returned it but this is its replacement and the only way it wont work is if it gets a hard surge and then you have to replace

The spacing of the plugs is great. I love the fact that it includes two USB connections. We bought it to use in conjunction with our WiiU and all its and its accessory power needs. It is solid and sturdy (as compared with cheaper, flimsy models).

The surge protector appears to be made well. It has 8 outlets to accommodate the multiple computers and printers in our planning center area. The black color is nice and goes well with our quartz counter. The USB charging station is convenient.
