    Fast-Cool Camera Features-Battery

Pros-Battery, camera features, speed, SD card expansion, and quick charge. Cons- bulky(width), loss of OS convenience features offered by other brands. I guess I am a heavy user, often on the phone every couple of minutes researching issues, calendar checks, checking and responding to messages and emails. Wireless display via mirroring or Chromecast are important features for me. During the last year I have owned and used the iPhone 6, Note 4, S6 Edge. Each is a great phone but lacking battery stamina. I don't need two days of battery, getting through one day without charging would be great. I have had the phone a couple of days so I can only say the battery life is better than those listed. I gave this phone 5 stars but with every phone there is some give and take. I had the iPhone 6 but its OS lacks so many convenience features I took for granted with Samsung. PROCESSOR SPEED This phone is very fast and applications and movies download very quickly. It moves between apps very quickly, too. Its wireless display with the Microsoft adapter and Chromecast are very stable and no lag. BATTERY As mentioned, the battery is better than most. There is a battery saving mode and I installed a 3rd party app to close apps running in the background and one to prevent access to programs in sleep mode. I did not experience a loss of battery while in sleep mode, unlike my other android phones. The turbo charging works as described. CAMERA The picture quality seems to be very good and to take a picture you can touch anywhere on the screen or use the volume keys. However, it does not give you instant access to the photo gallery to view photos. I really like the front facing camera flash. Its a cool feature. BULKY The phone feels a bit bulky and it is wider than most phones. The volume keys are on the right side unlike most phones, I guess to accommodate the wider structure. OS INCONVENIENCE FEATURES My biggest gripe with the phone is the loss of OS convenience features that I have come to appreciate with Samsung and keeps me away from Apple. There is no quick app search feature and the settings search is virtually useless. I added a third party app search, which is great, but its not useful for settings search. The drop down menu is ok but you cant modify it. It does not offer a "close all" last used apps and you most close each individually. Its hit and miss which apps allow a quick/auto fill when using the keyboard. Verizon's messaging app is very good, but when completing forms on the internet or emailing, you must reenter frequently used terms, words or email addresses. The available emoticons are also far less than some other brands. These may seem like small issues, but in the aggregate, make for a sloppy presentation. Despite the OS criticisms, I do like the phone. Hopefully Motorola will refine its OS experience. STORAGE The 32 GB seems adequate. While the pre-installed apps can not be put on an SD card, there remains about 18 to 20 GBs available. Most of my apps can be accommodated on the SD card along with media files except Amazon movies. Google Play allows its movies to download to the SD card. I had about 16 GB available after adding my favorite apps, many of which must be stored on the internal drive. I include phone size and picture comparisons to my S6 Edge.

There are many great things about this phone. The screen is good but not as good as others. But you get the unbreakable screen at that cost. If you are not one to stare and pick at it then you will not notice a difference. The battery life is great it is very hard to find a way to kill it in one day unless you watch videos through the whole day on it. The phone is fast and has a clean UI. The turbo charger is crazy I plugged it in at 10% and 20 minutes later it was at 73%. The back can be slippery and make it hard to hold onto in one hand.

Still learning it. But so far, excellent battery life. Very fast even with other apps open. The camera and built in bar code reader is very nice. A flashlight built in with out having to download one.

Needed to replace my phone after the screen shattered on the old one, so the "shatterproof" screen was a big selling point here. True to life, I've dropped this beast a half dozen times already on concrete, tile, you name it. Screen is still intact. The fact that it runs pure android was a big thing as well. My previous phone was a Moto X second gen, and there was no transition at all from an operating system standpoint. Same old trusted Android. Camera is great, probably the best camera I've had on a phone. Overall works great and is fast and reliable.

I had gotten the original Droid and loved it - since then I have bounced between the iPhone 3 and 4, Samsung Galaxy and HTC One M8 - I enjoyed all of them - some more than others. When my HTC died I needed a new phone since I was on the Verizon network I decided to go back the Droid and am very pleased - battery life is great, call quality is great - just a great phone all the way around. I also accidentally tested the shatter proof screen - just the other day I dropped my phone on to a marble floor from about 4 feet on the screen and no damage -

I purchased this as an upgrade cell phone for my wife who tends to drop things on a regular basis and complains that the screen on her old cell phone was to small. She is extremely happy with this one as the screen is larger and yep she has dropped it at least twice and there was no resulting damage.

This phone functions as performed. The battery life lasted as advertised! The camera takes excellent images at 21 megapixels. I can't go back to my iPhone after using this camera. The screen is incredible, and it's durable. Check out the YouTube videos of this phone being dropped with barely a chip on the screen. The nice part of the screen is that if you damage the top layer, you can purchase a new piece, so you will always have a new screen!

Got this phone for my Father that work where his phone could be in danger so the strong screen was a huge plus. Great camera amazing battery life and runs andriod great. a bit of a learning curve for the non tech savvy jumping from any other phone to this as Motorola likes changing things around. But you should be fine after a couple of days.

My adult son has vision in only eye and is paralyzed on one side of his body. It has been difficult for him to use smaller phones with poor graphics. When I described his needs to a Best Buy employee, this is the phone he suggested. Great choice! My son can handle this phone easily and if he drops it, it still works and does not break. The graphics are clear and beautiful (better than my iPhone 6). Now, he can easily communicate with family and friends. After one of his friends saw it, he bought the same phone!

This is by far my favorite Android phone to date. My only complaint would be that it's speakers aren't up to par with HTC, but they are still good. It is fast, smooth, and the battery lasts longer than any phone I have ever had. Oh, and a bonus, the antenna is very good compared to other phones in my area.

So far, mostly good. Good phone audio and video when enhanced, decent battery life, fast processor, no learning curve except for new OS version. Well behaved. Is, as usual, overloaded with Verizon bloatware, only a tiny bit of which like Messages is useful to most people, but most of that can be disabled. One problem - some existing QI pads will not work with it in the Verizon case - apparently Motorola moved the coils just high enough in the case to put them above where pads expect the coils to be depending on how the pad is setup. For instance, the Verizon desktop dock won't charge it in the Verizon case yet the dock is still listed as an accessory.

I purchased my Motorola Droid Turbo 2 from Best Buy in full with cash after being denied the sale at Verizon Wireless. (Total at Best Buy that day $702). Immediately after purchasing I went back to Verizon and bought an OtterBox ($49.99+tax). A few days later my phone started shutting off randomly. I took it back to Best Buy and was told that the rubber buttons on the OtterBox could be sticking and causing the phone to shut off randomly. They said take the case off for a few days and see if this resolves the problem. I had 7 days left to exchange the phone for a new one at this point. Reluctantly I gave it a shot. For 10 days my phone worked just fine, not shutting off once. Then out of the blue it started happening again and much more frequently. Three times in an hour once. Now I'm past the point where I can exchange the phone so I purchased a 2 year Geek Squad insurance plan at the tune of $172 after tax, almost sure I was going to experience more problems. Fast forward about two months, I grab my OtterBox encased Turbo 2 off the charger and it slipped out of my hand and hit the carpeted floor. Shatterproof screen still intact I pick it up to discover that the LCD digitizer is broken underneath the shatterproof screen. Now I have to pay a $150.00 deductible to replace the digitizer on a phone that randomly shuts off whenever it feels like it. So I'm stuck using this horrible Casio Commando for a few weeks until I can afford to replace the digitizer. I am a huge fan of Android products and a big fan of Motorola but almost $1,000.00 in purchases between the phone and insurance plus accessories I would've thought I'd have a phone that would last for years that I was thrilled to own. I AM MUCH LESS HAPPY THAN I SHOULD BE. (And that's a huge understatement.) I did Mark that I would recommend this to a friend but probably with some helpful tips, cautions, and a buyer be ware.
