    One Device Doesn’t Fit All

After purchasing this phone I can say it is a winner for productivity use. It doesn’t comes with many gimmicks or apps you don’t need. The stock android is a win in my opinion. I read and look at many reviews and decided to purchase. The negative comments about this device did not apply to my needs and wants with this phone. In my opinion it is better than the S22 Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro in many categories. I got this device at a discount price so it is a win for me. I think Motorola price this phone wrong at launch. This phone is good and I find myself preferring it over the Microsoft Surface Duo 2(favorite device), iPhone 13 series, and the Samsung S22 Ultra. If the S22 Ultra came in a Stock Android I would have not have purchased the Motorola Edge Plus. For the average user I would recommend Pixel 6A Motorola G100 iPhone 13 pro For an experience user I would recommend Pixel 6 Pro or Pixel 6 Motorola Edge Plus(this device is underrated) iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Pro Samsung Ultra S22 If the S22 Ultra came in a Stock Android I would not have purchased the Motorola Edge Plus. For the average user I would recommend Pixel 6A Motorola G100 iPhone 13 For an experience user I would recommend Pixel 6 Pro or Pixel 6 Motorola Edge Plus(this device is underrated) iPhone 6 Pro or Pro Max (if you prefer bigger display and better camera features) Samsung Ultra S22 Please keep in mind when purchasing any device, purchase with you needs and wants as priority. If you want an Apple or Samsung device buy it. I see many comments giving negative comments and reviews on devices just because they are not Apple or Samsung devices. Try all manufacturers before you bandwagon one just because it is trending or popular to do so. My favorite (Microsoft Surface Duo 2) device most people never heard of it and when I am out people are constantly asking me to see it or what is it. Just purchase from you needs and wants and you will find that device that fits your lifestyle. Please remember one device doesn’t fit all.

Great battery life. After I changed refresh rate to 90 it will last 3 days on light use like when I'm wotking 3 days just use it little on dinner and when I get home. Heavy heavy on web and youtube 1 day and half. Before refresh rate change on heavy use 1 day charge late that night. It has 2 settings 90 or 144. Great speakers loud. Love the camera and plenty of memory. Light weight. Fast charger 45 w. Lot of colorful wallpapers for display. Has the usual moto shortcuts like flashlight and others. Microphone on top speaker on bottom. Vent on bottom. Had motorola z4 before this 1 it's cracked and lost charge to 1 day after 3 years but, still works hasn't missed a beat or froze once in over 3 years.

I'm not sure if any other Android phones do this. I know Apple iPhone can't! This Motorola Edge+ allows capturing from both selfie cam and rear cam at the same time. Not only that but I can set it to record or take two separate pictures or videos simultaneously or I can set it to record them as one video or picture overlayed on top or side my side!! This is the only reason I switched from Apple. I'm really surprised we don't see more phones with this feature and why it's not talked about more in all the advertising.

It is a good lower priced phone. I did not want to drop a grand so I went for the sale on this device. The battery life is short (4-6 hours). The interface is good. My phone back glass is cracked after being in my pocket with keys. Be careful of this fragile device.

A Great Starting Point For Phone Design

After months of researching, comparing phones, & trying out other brands that gave me headaches I finally settled on this phone. I've had it for a few months & I also bought it shortly before the 2023 model came out, but I have to say I am glad I didn't wait as the 2022 model has more of what I want to see in a phone. First off the 2023 model lives up to its edge name with that curved edge screen, something I actually hate, so I am glad my 2022 model isn't that type of phone, its a pretty regular display which I much prefer. The screen is very nice with variable & high refresh rates, but those give me a headache if I'm on the phone for too long, so I appreciate the option to turn it off. I got this phone on sale and it is really good value for what I paid, 512GB is a lot of space, although I know myself and can see myself filling it up in the next year or two, so I wish they didn't get rid of the microSD card slot, all the budget level Motorolas have SD card slots, so I don't see a good reason for this phone not having one. They also got rid of the headphone jack, again I don't know why such a valuable feature is relegated to cheap phones, but not the premium ones. Motorola, please include a headphone jack & microSD slot on ALL of your devices. The phone shipped with Android 12, which was missing some features I really liked from Android 13 when I used it on other devices, luckily the Edge+ 2022 recently got Android 13, but some basic features are still missing, such as the ability to restrict specific apps from network access. One thing I appreciate is the phone having a physical fingerprint reader/button. I much prefer this to the in-screen fingerprint reader that other phones have. The cameras on this phone are pretty good and will do 4k60fps once updated, but I installed Gcam on it as even after the android 13 update, pictures in Mototrola's default camera app still come out oversharpened & blurry. Like I said I spent months searching for the right phone because nothing out there really fits my needs, and this phone is just the closest one I could find. I hate the modern all screen design of phones, I want rectangular screens with bezels back. I never saw the point of the rounded corners thing, and I'd much rather the selfie cam be in a bezel, rather than a cut out in the screen. Bezels would also allow for bigger & better speakers, not that these are bad, but phone speakers in general could be so much more. It would also just be nice to pick up a phone without accidently touching everything on the screen. I haven't really had any connectivity issues with the phone, the bluetooth connections are solid, although had to mess around in the developer settings when it couldn't find some of my devices. The phone is a bit slower than other devices on my 2.4GHz connection, but the 5GHz one is solid. I also really miss having an IR blaster and notification LED which my previous phone had.

    Professional Review: Wicked Awesome Phone!

Awesome phone, blows my iPhone 13 Max Pro out of the water, and I am super happy to be back on Android!! Apps run better many more to choose from. This phone charges in 15 minutes to full, last few days, it is light and takes awesome pictures, and has 10 times the features iPhone has. I caught it on sale, so it cost half the price. Apple holds you hostage and makes it almost impossible to get your data off to Android, this was a major challenge. The screen, compared to apple, is mind-blowing, my eyes are not blurry after using the edge plus, unlike iPhone. The list is so long why this is a better phone and I just do not have the time to write them all down. This phone is lightning-fast and can handle my heavy workload and heavy gaming. Even the $100-watch battery last 15 days and apple still does not do that!! Apple is way way overpriced!! What a joke!! The edge is very very similar to the Huawei, so close it really makes you wonder if Motorola teamed up with them secretly. The Huawei was the best phone I have ever owned and the longest. I get a new phone every year and have done so since smartphones came out. I was a die-hard Samsung fan until they did the rounded edge. If you want an awesome phone at an awesome price, this phone is for you, nothing else even comes close!

The phone definitely has a lot of updates to offer from my old Motorola device. I do like the fact it runs on Android 12 and runs faster and smoother when processing. The camera is nice as well. The only issue I have with it is I do not believe the battery last as long as my old one. It still last a decent amount of time. Just not quite as long. My old phone with minimal use was typically around 70-80 where as this one sits around 60-70 some days. However it does support wireless charging and turbo charging which comes in handy. It doesn't have an SD card slot like my old one. But luckily with 512GB of storage, I shouldn't need one.

Up front: Good if you find on sale or don't care about cameras. Pros: Stock android with nice customization options Generous storage and RAM Excellent display Great performance, it flies 30w charger for fast charging included in the box Cons: IP52 rating, only water splash rated so don't get this too wet Plastic sides, and it feels like it too Cameras are awful, simple as that, and no telephoto lens. These cameras need a ton of work. The noise levels and smudge factor are unacceptable for a supposed flagship. Read android authority's review. Their experience was mine exactly. Only two OS updates and three years of security patches...Samsung and google offer 4 and 5 respectively. All in all, this is a decent phone if you don't care about the camera experience and want to spend as much on this as you would a Pixel 6 pro. I wanted something different, but for my daily use this won't work. And this phone will go up to $1000 after the introductory offer? Uh, nope. Wait for a big sale.

For the money you're likely not going to find a phone with as much performance (cpu, screen refresh, RAM & storage) as the Edge+. It's a high-end phone that delivers a lot for hundreds less. The P-OLED looks great, it is fast and bright. One of my favorite features is that the with a little bit a patience you can pry that case off to refresh the battery yourself without paying a bunch of money to a specialized shop. In the past, I've benefited from refreshing my battery every couple of years. Caution, the camera is average. I've gotten the best results using pro mode, but its performance is middle of the pack.

I liked the fast processer the snapdragon 8 gen 1, wireless charging, 68 watt tubro charging, 30 watt fast charger in the box. The 144hz oled screen Motorola user interface. Dislikes only two years of os updates, only ip52 rating, the cameras are okay, no always on display, plastic rails, only gorilla glass 3 on the phone, screen resolution is only 1080p, base storage is only 128gbs, no telephoto lens, no esim only one sim, different models have different antenna bands in them, also 12 gbs of ram only on verizon and cannot be bought outright.

This is a great phone very reasonably priced. Lots of room for storing apps and files, which is something I really wanted. Lots of RAM and fast processor. I can't always rely on the cloud and I needed to store files of many kinds. The screen is bright and responsive. I was disappointed about the lack of micro SD support, but it was not really needed. The lack of headphone jack is a pain, but is the new standard and easy to overcome

This phone is absolutely amazing!!! It's unbelievably fast, LED screen is beautiful and the 144 refresh rate is top notch. Got it on sale for $499 which is a steal. Battery lasts 2-3 days on light use and 1-2 days on heavy use. Video records in 8k and camera is the best I've ever seen. People complain about the camera but fail to realize you have to go to settings to turn up the quality, and you also have to go to "more" option is separate settings to put it in "ultra-res". Both options need to be on to get maximum resolution. I love how the phone doesn't come with tons of preinstalled apps and the ones it does have are all deletable. Dual capture camera mode is cool too. This phone is a must buy, especially while it's still on sale.

As advertised. Does what you'd expect from a step-down flagship. Fast enough processor, decent battery life (true fast charging), and the gestures on board ad to the overall positive experience (shake for flashlight and double tap of print reader are my favorites and most useful). Screen is lovely, colorful, and bright enough for outdoors use. I paid just over $400 which made the deal sweet. People complain about the non-glass no-premium back but that's just nonsense. The composite blue material lends to a very cool pearl blue hue and makes the phone much lighter than most other phones with similar screen sizes.

This is definitely one of my favorite phones to date. Fast operating system, cameras and battery life are great, screen is spectacular and the set up was a breeze. Motorola has matched quality of the Samsung Galaxy and Apple iPhones at a much lower cost. If you're in the market for a refurbished phone then get it from Best Buy. I couldn't be happier
