Customers praise the Stealth GS77's performance, graphics capabilities, and build quality, frequently highlighting the large screen size as a significant advantage. All metal body feels worth it’s weight in gold. Snappy performance for my computational chemistry work. Max settings on gtav. The cooling works great, especially if you prop it up for more air flow. Your will want fans on max when gaming. My friend said it’s fans are loud, but I wear headphones and I would rather have loud fans keeping it cool than overheating. I had a mbp 15inch from 2011 for several years, I gamed on it all the time, it got so hot it cracked the solder on the gpu. One day it crashed. I waited 6 years before buying another laptop. This one takes the cake. Per key rgb is awesome and customizable. I work and play on it for hours every day. when i’m ready to upgrade years from now, I will likely buy another stealth, especially if they keep the all metal chassis. The display is great, the best i ever had. I have a lot of new relationship energy with this laptop. I like it more than I like my friends. pros: -premium build quality with metal chassis -16gb ram 8gb vram via RTX 3060 -snappy response, <60s full startup and login -great processing power -fun keyboard -discreet design -additionally best buy has been great for service, support, and communication. cons: I’m neglecting my relationships because I would rather be playing with my laptop.

Laptop is beautiful, I mean this thing can run literally anything and is speedy! The graphics card isn't the best, but the laptop will run any game you wish. I've used Xbox cloud gaming on this and it runs it like a charm, no lag or anything and I tried to play on the cloud on my Xbox and the lag made it unplayable so this laptop is definitely taking that point. The laptop only comes with 16GB of ram but it honestly doesn't matter bc Intel and their i9 utilize it so well that I haven't even ran into a problem of running out yet, BUT I do plan on upgrading it eventually to 64 and as I was researching, MSI allows you to upgrade your laptop and it still be under warranty so long as you don't break something inside of it. If you didn't break it and it was just something wrong with the system then your good! This beast also comes with a crazy good WiFi card and software to support it ( it even roasted my universities wifi telling them to upgrade :)). It also comes with MSIs care package of apps like the MSI center, which has some very valuable settings for this laptop! There's plenty of apps to utilize Only con/flaw though, would be the fact that the laptop gets really hot (which is understandable as it's a i9 and I was gaming) but this heat issue affects my keyboard light as shown in the picture. I read on the issue and it said that the heat could make the per key lighting activate or malfunction and it's honestly not too big of a deal or anything, as its only noticable when your keyboard lighting is off. So not really a deal breaker but just kind of a bummer. Love this laptop though and I'd definitely recommend anyone try it, especially buy this when it's on sale!!

So far this laptop is eating everything I throw at it. I’ve been able to run AAA titles (and PS3/360 emulation) with ease and GPU temps don’t peak anything past 65°C (70ish with unlocked frame rate at times). 1TB is adequate enough for daily use but you’ll want to invest in a separate storage drive at some point anyway. MUX switch is also an option on this model and the keyboard is comfortable enough. Hinges feel sturdy enough and screen brightness & contrast are surprisingly decent. Also, it’s a gaming laptop so don’t expect battery life to be anywhere near usable for more than one hour on max graphics settings. You might want to uninstall some bloatware here and there but all in all I’d say this is a good daily workhorse.

Purchased brand new from Best Buy on April 4th, 2023 for my husband. He wanted another model, but it was unavailable at the time and he was getting ready to be deployed; we settled for this. Did not seem like a bad deal. He took great care of it, keeping it in a Pelican Case when not in use and kept it plugged in on his desk otherwise. The battery has recently been losing substantial capacity. In the short 8 months since the purchase, the laptop will only charge to 90% full, despite being left plugged in. Contacted Best buy to see about a return. Our only option is to wait until he gets home, or ship it home (costly) and take it to Best Buy to see about Trade-in Value. Suspiciously, the model is no longer available at Best Buy, nor is it listed in their Trade-in webpage. Thus our only option is to take it in to have it be appraised for whatever they feel like giving us for it, to put towards a different laptop. The overall usage: it's a sturdy machine with plenty of power and performance, particularly as a desktop-replacement gaming machine. It runs titles perfectly fine at Ultra settings. The keyboard has individually customizable lights and preset patterns, although the keypad should be full-sized on a 17.3in laptop. Instead it's skewed down and can be fickle to quickly crunch numbers. Large trackpad is very responsive and clicky, Plenty of room to rest palms while typing below the keyboard. The peripheral ports are great; having 2 USB-C available (including a thunderbolt4) have been very nice, all things considered. The Battery and number-pad are the only two wants left. If you're going to use this as a desktop replacement, you'll likely use external components, and be tethered to the wall and not notice. Otherwise you will notice quickly that the battery will not last longer than 2 good hours, much less if you're actively gaming or doing and sort of power-hungry task. I truly wanted to give it 3 stars out of frustration, but I think the battery is only worth 1, so 4/5 it is.

This laptop is the most impressive electronic I’ve ever had. It is expensive. It is not beginner friendly. You need to optimize the laptop and grapple MSI software that is hardly intuitive. After that do surgery to upgrade the RAM, I could’ve gone for 64gb but that’s overkill so I got 2 ddr5 corsair ram sticks to put 32gb into it. Unless you have experience I recommend using geek squad for this upgrade. Next you need a stand, not one of those fan stands that are clunky and goofy. The laptop already has excellent fans, you need to give them the airflow they need by lifting it slightly off the surface. Get a mouse and mousepad because the mouse on the laptop is the only part I don’t like, the built in mouse needs a lot of pressure to read input. Lastly get a laptop bag that fits this huge fella. You are left with the raw power of a desktop (best when plugged in) and the portability of a laptop.

As an Architect I find this system to be more than what I've asked for and screen size is exceedingly great for workspace feels like I’m working on a Mac monitor. And for the software I use on a day to day base. Ergonomics and keyboard layout is good in terms of hand placement for typing and mousepad operation. I’m quite satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend. The price is highly reasonable for such an amazing system.

Bang for your buck. MSI makes some great laptops and this one will do the job you need, especially on the run. Can run pretty much any game at max graphics. I travel accross the country and live in hotels for work, and this one has really delivered the quality I needed. I'd say this PC will be good for another 6 years until needing a big upgrade again.

In my opinion, a very good laptop. Good components and keeps the battery charged for quite a long time. For work exactly that. There is only a problem with overheating on a flat surface, but it is easily solved. I recommend the laptop.

I'm not sure where all these great reviews are coming from. This computer lacks a LOT of functionality. No Mux switch, no MSI truecolor support, washed out screen and colors. Performance is somewhat underwhelming compared to my old GS75 Stealth and GE75 Raider. The screen compared to my old ones is terrible. I ended up returning and purchasing a new Raider GE78 and am blown away. It cost significantly more, but was completely worth it. Its faster, newer and far superior internals, brighter, more vivid and higher resolution screen. There is a reason this one is priced at $1399. Look at the pictures of the Stealth GS77 screen and the Raider GE78. Its hard to capture how much better it is, but you can tell the difference. It was the same even with my older models. This Stealth is a pretty stripped down model.
