I really do enjoy having this Google Nest Mini in my home. I use it as an alarm so I can keep my phone out of my bedroom while I sleep. I wanted to stop looking at my phone first thing in the morning because it would start my day off to a horrible start. I'm glad the Google home mini doesn't have a screen on it, and it's easy to use. I do wish it would read me my messages. Not sure why it doesn't. Probably need to play around with it more. Other than that it's great and I love it!

I love the comparability across all of my devices. It helps me to be more productive by setting reminders directly into my google calendar when I ask it to. It’s loud enough to fill a large bedroom. The only downside is the occasional popping sound if it’s ultrasound sensing mode is on. I turned it off and now have no issue but it’s disappointing that I had to turn off a feature to fix the problem.

These are great if you get them on sale. Sound is decent and easy to setup.

This device was so cool that I upgraded it to a speaker. The pro is that it responds better than the speaker; the con is that the volume is too low.

The newer Nest design is better than the old home. I wish they would have went with a USB-C over a proprietary plug but it's not that big of a deal. The sound is noticeably better over the home mini. https://technicallylifted.com/google-nest-mini

I love my Google Mini! I found a plug in holder on Amazon to reduce countertop clutter, however it works to project the sound better too - out instead of up. I put mine in the bathroom because I can change songs and increase the volume without touching the device. From the shower I can choose playlist or podcast so it’s perfect.

Good qualit, decent bass and fast connection. Commands are not the fastes, compared to the Echo dot i have. It connects with youtube music and any google television. Overall im happy with my purchase

I like it its good and all and it’s even nice to Amazon Echo and Siri but sometimes it turns on by itself so it’s weird

I have had and been using amazons alexa "ZIGGY" for months before i purchased this google home. Let me just say, though quite sad... Ziggy has been unplugged since the second day of the introduction of google home.... a much smarter device

Very inexpensive now, and has good functions available, but I haven't yet hooked it up because I bought and hooked up a Google Nest Hub - which has a screen to let me see and hear things, whereas the Nest Mini is only an audio device. I may hook it up later. What I especially like about these devices is that I can use my Google Voice phone, hands-free, to make telephone calls! Great feature.

The product arrived in great condition, and setting it up was a breeze—it integrated seamlessly with my existing Google Home devices. The sound quality is impressive for such a compact device. It’s perfect for playing music, getting quick answers to questions, and controlling other smart home features. I also like the sleek, minimalist design, which blends nicely with my decor. Overall, the Nest Mini is a high-quality, reliable device. I’d definitely purchase it again if I needed another speaker for my home. Would have rated higher but took off a few points since the delivery took much longer than originally promised.

We have a few of these scattered throughout the house now and have linked them in groups so we can play in different rooms or the whole downstairs. It works pretty well once you learn how to talk to Google. For the price, they are a decent investment and provide good background sound all over the house.

Let me start off by saying, if your expectations are to have a smart speaker that also sounds like a jbl or Bose Bluetooth speaker, this speaker will disappoint you. The google nest mini does a great job at being a smart speaker and also your basic Bluetooth speaker to stream music but it will not wow you if you are a bass head or a Bluetooth speaker junky. When speaking to google assistant, it has enough volume for you to hear it over something like a microwave in the background or the tv on low volume or even a frying pan when using it in the kitchen like I am. I personally have this speaker attached under a kitchen cabinet with a Velcro strap and so far it has responded 7/10 times I’ve spoken to it. With that said, if we talk about the sound is while playing music, it sounds decent. Clear highs, okay mids & just enough bass to meet my expectations for a speaker this size. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to take a step forward into the “smart home” and “smart home accessories” world. For the price, it can’t be beat.

I wanted a small smart speaker. I didn't need a screen for photos, etc. The sound quality is very good for the kitchen where I use it. I use it primarily to play music. A bonus is I can ask it questions while I'm cooking like "what is tomorrow's weather". I can also ask "what song is this" while a song is playing and it will tell me the name of the song and artist. It has a small plug footprint which I appreciate. The plug shares the outlet and does not take over the space of the neighboring item. I gave it four stars because it is a bit temperamental when it comes to playing my Sirius XM channels. It appears to require exact syntax. I'm still learning how to use it though, so maybe I'm part of the problem. I may buy another one if it goes on sale again. The chalk color blends right in on my counter top microwave.

This is my first Google Assistant device and not my last. I was originally looking for a speaker for my small home office, but decided to get a speaker with an assistant. The speaker itself is quite powerful for what I need (music, podcasts, mindfulness, etc...), but the assistant has been fun to play with. I'm always imagined asking someone to set an alarm, set up my calendar, etc..and this device does exactly that, and more. I'm hoping to connect it to my light dimmers and other devices in the future. I'm not giving a full 5 stars since I have run into some issues with it disconnecting or logging out every so often. It's easy to overcome by rebooting or setting up again, but it's quite annoying. Google should be able to do better.

I like the Nest MIni because it is small enough to hang on the wall and not be too distracting. Volume is perfect for kitchen, and I can hear it low or loud enough to listen to music while doing dishes.
