I bought this as an additional wifi point bringing my total to 2 in my home. This went in the back bedroom of our house to extend the wifi better to that room as well as the Nest Cam on our back patio. It does the job just fine! Sometimes the wifi point will drop connection maybe once a so every 6-8 weeks. Power cycling it fixes it but my other point does the same from time to time so I think it could also be a update or just a nice reminder to restart my wifi network since you should do it frequently lol. It does reconnect right away though. Deducted a star for that but that is it.

I purchased a two pack best wifi (router + extender) and and ended up getting another extender to fill gaps. Overall I wish they offered color options for 3 pack, as this caused me to split purchase. The router was expensive for not offering Google mini functionality. Wished router offered this. The extenders are well worth the price on special though. The speaker and mic quality is a bit better than Google minis but less than Google home. If you dedicated to the google Cast ecosphere, this is a good companion. I ended up moving my 1st gen minis to other locations and this proved better at mic and speaker output. With all that aside, I had original Google wifi and this was an upgrade for reliability and range. For best quality, the WiFi repeaters do need to be close in range. However the range of the Nest Wifi repeaters was much greater than google Wifi repeaters. My biggest frustration is the lack of Ethernet ports on the Nest Wifi vs Google Wifi. A hope they have a second generation that allows for Ethernet ports and WiFi 6 tech. I have 300 Mbps up and down, but speeds do seem limited to 120 Mbps over extenders. I get that for most cases, you would never ever use more than 120 Mbps or single point, but that is changing. Google should be at forefront of this technology instead of chasing. Overall easy WiFi mesh install, evolving app controls, great replacement for minis and expands upon the google WiFi Range. Downfalls are lack of Ethernet ports on extenders, no color options in 3-pack, limited functionality on router vs extenders, and no WiFi 6. Is it worth it? If you don’t have Google WiFi already and you are committed to the google ecosphere, yes. If you already have google WiFi or using Alexa, not so much.

This is a great product for someone that is looking for a decent and easy way to expand coverage throughout their home. We found this to work out well, however, we do have issues with the internet going in and out - sometimes needing to be reset. This was the expansion to our original purchase of the router plus one point, which was not enough to cover our 3100 sq foot home.

The google Nest Wifi Add-on Point does extend the range of my wifi and was easy to install. Unfortunately, it took 10 days to arrive from Best Buy Google Nest even after I paid for 2 day shipping

Although a bit pricey, the Google point has made such a big difference in my apartment's internet speed! It pairs nicely with the Google Nest, but again I think that the $300+ bundle price is a bit much and I probably wouldn't have purchased it if I could find cheaper alternatives. At the end of the day, the product works as specified so no complaints there! I also love the built in speaker function. The sleek design also fits nicely with my room's aesthetic and doesn't look like a bulky router. Best Buy College Crew members receive products to write honest, unbiased reviews. Easy to set up and to get going with it. Mesh works a lot better than other network extenders I have tried. HOWEVER... if you have a more than basic wifi setup you may experience issues. In my case, it appears to be assignment of IP addresses by both the mesh and by the ISP provided equipment (modem from my cable company). I have an IT guy that works with my system and hopefully he will get things worked out. But until it is, my home security cameras either can be from the inside wifi network or from outside that network, coming in on the internet, but not both.

The Google nest point has been a great addition to our network overall. It's easy to set up and I absolutely love that it can be used as a home assistant. Very cool feature. The only thing i don't like are the random disconnects. A few times a week my network will go out for a few minutes or slow down and I have to reset and/or reconnect the points. I've noticed by searching online that this is a common issue with the Google nest units.

Work as it should, extends our wifi signal while serving as a mini google home. I like the rounded out shape and color makes it easy decor. You can also buy a plug holder to hang it on an outlet or simply just use it to tidy up cords and rest on a surface. Will say though felt its google home is a bit less sensitive than the one without wifi extender. Sometimes I will have to call out "hey google" few times to get it to recognize.

This is the second add-on point I've purchased to go with the Nest WiFi system, which came with two points. Our wifi has to serve both our house and the guest house in the backyard. The guest house was getting a weak signal until I added the fourth, which increased the signal strength substantially. The mesh wifi system is dependable and rarely has a problem.

Nest Wi-Fi add on point was easy to set up through the app. Connected to my Nest router easily. Set up towards the back of my house so that the signal strength reached to outside security cameras around the house. Sleek design, speaker is nice and the light at the bottom is a nice touch. Bought separately from my Nest router, however I would recommend buying the router and points together.

We recently moved to the house of 3000 sq. ft. from apartment and had issues with the Wi-Fi coverage. We bought the Nest add on point and installed it, very easy and quick to setup and created the mesh network. Getting good coverage now.

Easy install and syncing. Very good range. I will buy again.

We had 3 in the house already, but our wifi was still weak at one end (our house is long and narrow). Adding one more range extender got the wifi in my new home office to full strength instantly. Couldn't be happier and now my video conferences are trouble-free.

So I bought this to reach an area that wifi was struggling to reach. Works well to extend the wifi range and also if you use the Google Assistant it has that feature built into the wifi point as well.

Had a little trouble setting up the router, but once it was connected, it has been on consistently. And if I have to turn the power off and on, it comes back on quickly. Setting up the access points was extremely easy.

I purchased a few of these to increase my wifi range to yard and throughput my house. Drops wifi at least a few times a day. Very annoying. Good when it works as its supposed to.

Great coverage throughout the house. My only complaints are that this model does not have a ethernet port as the previous model did and you can barely see the setup code on the bottom.

Easy to set up and use with Google Nest Wifi router. Good user interface and management in the app.

Very expensive. But great google quality. If you have the nest wifi you’re stuck to these google points at $150 each
