Eliminated My Dead Spot
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a dead spot in front of and inside my garage due to the electrical panel. My Ring flood lights over my garage had poor signal and my MyQ for the garage door would consistently loose signal. I installed the NETGEAR extender in the garage and it eliminated the dead spot. My Ring flood light now have strong signal and there has been zero signal drops from my MyQ devices. It also gave me additional cover outside while increasing the signal downstairs. (Main router located upstairs) I am truly satisfied with the performance and it was simple to program.

Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Rocks!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this access point as a need to split a network into two; that is, one for my main network and another for IoT devices. I had a need for WiFi access to my main network from anywhere within a 2,000 square-foot radius. This access point didn't disappoint. It has blazing speeds and set up was easy. Five stars, absolutely.

Overall very good, but can be frustrating
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This extender allowed me to move our 5G cellular gateway to an upstairs location with a better signal and still get a strong wifi signal downstairs. That improved download speeds throughout the house by a surprising amount! Initial setup using the Nighthawk app was not difficult. But when the cellular gateway rebooted and decided to use 5Ghz wifi channel 100 DFS, the extender could not see that channel at all. Had to force the gateway to use a fixed 5Ghz wifi channel that the extender could see. All was good after that. I had no idea that could happen when I bought the extender so that was a frustrating failure at the time.

Integrates easily with Netgear router
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We upgraded our internet service and needed a router to keep up. We are supposed to be getting 400Mbps but old router only getting up to 120Mbps on iPhone 12 when standing right next to the router! We got the RAX120 and it can easily get in the 350-380Mbps range. with this EAX20 extender we can get up to 60Mbps way out beyond the yard into the far side of our detached garage (through brick walls). Setting up and integrating the EAX20 was super simple and fast with the Nighthawk app. Good value overall for this system.

Easy setup and effective
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had an Orbi and it started to drop connection so decided to add to our NETGEAR Nighthawk with two of the mesh range extenders to cover the whole house. They were very simple to install and since adding them, we have had no coverage issues and really no buffering when streaming. They have been a great addition to our network.

Very Easy Set-Up!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent extender that was intuitive and super easy to set up and use. The app does all of the hard work for you and the additional ethernet ports let me hardwire my computer into the extender and take advantage of the blazing fast speed. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you have the expendable cash and want something quick and easy to get started with.

Great product.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works Great. Tried my WiFi providers extender that was said to be compatible with their router wirelessly. Later told it had to be hard wired to the router to work upstairs. I purchased the Netgear extender for half the price of the providers, and it works great and was very easy to set up. Great signal strength upstairs and NO wires neede.

Works great as an access point
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was quick and easy to set up using the Netgear browser interface and it works great. I set it up as a wired access point rather than wireless extender using my existing router. The one wifi name is fantastic, especially compared to the four names I used to have with my old extender on the two router bands. Now I have great signal everywhere I need it. The bright white lights are a bit odd compared with the little green ones most network devices have, but you can turn them off except for the power light which is about like a regular night light in my hall. The only thing that could be improved is the manual, which in places is a bit unclear and incomplete.

booster/ extender
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up, exactly what I needed. My office is far enough from my router that it drops in and out. This was exactly what I needed without changing the network that was already in place.
