Very Easy Set-Up!
||Posted . The app does all of the hard work for you and the additional ethernet ports let me hardwire my computer into the extender and take advantage of the blazing fast speed. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you have the expendable cash and want something quick and easy to get started with.

Works well but I can't compare to others
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to install WiFi in an outbuilding that was 400' from the house. I couldn't find a suitable wireless solution, so I turned to a wired solution (underground Ethernet cable). I ordered a set of Google Mesh Network devices. I was disappointed in them because the extenders didn't have an Ethernet port on them. I returned them. (My friends older version of the same device did!) I turned to Netgear and purchased this four-port Netgear range extender. It worked from the moment I plugged it in and plugged the Ethernet cable in to it. I'm running three security cameras, a Google Mini and also using it to make Google Duo video calls. I'm pleased with the performance. I think it is a little pricey. I might have gotten by with something less expensive, but didn't want to take the chance and force me to make yet another trip into town. I marked the value down one star because I think they should be priced lower.

Just works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moved my workstation to the far end of the basement and was only getting 7mbps, not enough for a reliable connection to the office vpn. The Netgear EAX20 was delivered at 11.36 AM and before noon I was online with 35 mbps, well above the 50% of my primary router that I was expecting. My laptop mostly stays in the docking station but my iPad and iPhone go with me all over the house without any connection issues. I was very happy the first day and am still happy after 4 weeks. I was very nervous about solving my WiFi reception issue because the internet is a mystery to me. Reviews seem to ding the EAX20 for being expensive, but it was worth every penny to me.

Works great.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 of these to help with signal strength for apple tv and work computer. I am getting full strength at locations of my house. The price is a little high, but you get what you paid for.

Wifi range extender
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very unreliable connection. It gives me more issues than solutions. Easy to install but even tough it appears to be a stemless transition, equipment connected to the extender is not recognized as bein in the same network therefore in reality is not seamless. It is too expensive for what it does.

Posted .Hi Jealvarez,
Wireless routers, access points, and adapters send and receive radio wave signals through antennas. To optimize your wireless range, we suggest checking this resource: hhttps://kb.netgear.com/25731/Troubleshooting-NETGEAR-WiFi-Range-Extenders

Easy Setup - Hit or Miss Performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup: Setup was as easy as any network device I've ever installed. Using the Netgear Nighthawk app, I had the device installed and running within 5 mins. Unboxed the extender, plugged in the power cord and the Nighthawk app found the device and I was able to add it to my network without any problems. Setup: 5 stars Performance: Performance was initially great with consistent 80 Mbps speeds, which mirrors my existing Mesh network. The extender also great extended my range into my garage where previously devices (notably Chromecast) struggled with weak Wifi Coverage. After awhile; however, I noticed certain devices had difficultly switching between my Mesh router / satellite and the extender. Moving around the house devices wouldn't connect to the closet device and would have no internet access or significant ping / latency issues. It is a minority of my devices that have this issue, but for those that do it's less than ideal. My performance issues might be a side effect of merging a Mesh system with a traditional extender. YMMV with a normal wireless router. Performance: 3 stars The product did not meet my expectations as several devices had significant ping / latency issues or would not switch to the extender from my Mesh network. The price is also a bit high for an extender as I think the value is more in the $100 range, but if you need an extender that is Wi-Fi 6 compatible, this isn't a bad option. I received this product as part of a testing and review program for Netgear.
