Customers recognize the Orbi 750 Series AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's extensive coverage, ease of use, and strong performance as significant advantages. Many appreciate the straightforward setup process and reliable signal strength, resulting in improved connectivity. However, some users cite the high price as a drawback, and a lack of robust parental controls is also mentioned as an area for improvement. While some experienced lag, others reported significant improvements in speed and reduced lag after installation.

Seem to be helping most Wi-Fi products around house. Pretty user friendly. Only complaint is My house is 2000 square feet, system says good for 5000 and at my furthest cameras, still a little poor signal.

I must say when I first researched the Orbi I was skeptical. Lots of people said that it was amazing but for the price point I was sure that I could find something better. Well I tried multiple versions of a mesh network. Linksys, Eero even Google and although they were good Orb has truly set a standard for what Wi-Fi in the home should be like. The security is second to none. Something as simple as getting a notification when a device connects to your router is outstanding. Take it one set further and verify that your new device does not pose a threat to your current network or yourself and you have made me a customer for life. That's what NETGEAR and the Orbi system has achieved. A lifetime customer. The controls are so simple and they allow you to take full control of your home network in all ways. Not to mention the setup for me was so easy. I would consider myself a tech savvy person but this was WAY too easy. I love that for them. One Last thing. I believe the level of awesomeness Orbi has achieved is second to none. The aesthetic of the router and the satellite make it easy to fit into any room without being an eye sore. That was extremely important to me as I have a very clean modern setup. Thanks NETGEAR for making a product that does exactly what it's suppose to do and more. And thank you for making a product that LOOKS awesome while being awesome.

Best Buy misleading False and inaccurate labeling

My review is not on the product itself as it is a great product that has worked amazingly for me, but rather, it is based on Best Buys unprofetional misleading inaccurate and false labeling of this product. For context, i was recently looking to add 2 Orbi saleties to my orby system. So, I came here to Best Buys app to look for it, and as i looked, i found this (2-pack) that was on special at the time of my purchase. One single orbi satellite was about 200, so when i saw the discount on this (false) 2-pack, i went ahead and ordered it. However, it wasn't until i received the box that i noticed this was not a 2-pack orbi satelite bundle but rather only 1 satelite and 1 router. Definitely not what i wanted. Further more, I reached out to Best Buys customer service about the mater as the labeling on the app and website posted this as a 2-pack 2 satellite kit and the reality was that it wasnt as it is labeled and posted. Their reply was that they did not have controll over the labeling or post of their products witch in this case is completely false and inaccurate and is a ridiculous excuse or justification. After this i went ahead and searched this kit on amazon and to my surprise Amazon had a more professional and accurate labeling of this product witch cleared marked it as 1 router and 1 satelite kit. This sinple note makes it clear what is in this kit and not misleading. However on Best Buys side it is completely false and inaccurate. I hope that Best Buy can make things rite and properly label their products more accurately and professionally so others dont fall victim to misleading and false labels and post.

I have a now discontinued, 3 years old Google WiFi with 2 points. My home is a two stories, 2650 sqft and we have 30+ connected devices, in addition to port forwarding configured (since I have a web server at home). The Google WiFi works perfectly 99% of the time. The exception is when it freezes after some firmware update or, once in a blue moon, the whole network becomes sluggish due to whatever it is. It took me 8 hours to get the port forwarding working for this Orbi system. I feel stupid now, but every time you change a setting it restarts the router and gets a new public IP: so I was actually chasing ghosts. I couldn't find any helpful information online, the configuration interface is pretty barebones and its online help is not useful at all. Out of desperation, even tried calling the tech support, which was also another waste of time: had to wait a long time to talk to an Indian guy, then a Chinese lady, then got redirected for the third time: so I just gave up. Despite the fact that this brand new, WiFi 6 compatible system didn't introduce any gains in speed, it also rendered the master bedroom / bathroom into a big dead zone. See attached picture. Worth notice that Netgear's apps provide very poor user experience. I know because I also own an Arlo security system. The mobile app is disorganized and you can't accomplish much on it. You'll have to access some ugly web based interface to have access to most of its functions. Functions, by the way, very scarce. Noticeable the total absence of parental controls and other minor features that my Google WiFi provides. Another big surprise is that they keep pushing some (probably) useless BitDefender annual subscription costing eye popping $65/year, which sounds very shady to me. Returning the Orbi right away and happily sticking with my Google WiFi.

Do not buy if your home uses IoT devices. Not compatible. Very disappointed that you can’t split bands between 2.4 and 5ghz. PS4 completely doesn’t work (google it, not lying). Firmware issues constantly and now Netgear won’t let you rollback firmware; completely took away the yes button (see picture). Better options out there.

Going on my 3rd month with this Beauty! After trying 2 Netgear Routers (X6S & AX5400) the Orbi is the only way to go. I wish I would have done my upgrade sooner. I have Cox Gigablast and Yes finally getting what I’m paying for using the Orbi. My home is 3200 Square Feet with many Devices contacted to it, and it doesn’t sweat or drop. I get half of my internet speed on my sidewalk and backyard as well. I doubt you’ll be disappointed, this is coming from someone who just recently started diving into electronics. I found the maybe the only hiccup I had was when i first installed it when it was time to place the 2nd satellite. That took 3 times until I found a sweet spot. I have my router and modem 2nd floor corner of the house, and satellite 1st floor opposite corner. Not really a negative thing just something you should know. StoryTime: Upgraded my Cox plan from 300 to 500. I got the latest & greatest modem/router they said... my speed test almost made my drive to the nearest Cox truck and throw up, while kicking & screaming for my money back lol I had them come out and after 3 techs and few wasted hrs of my brain cells talking to them. I said no, did my own research and guess what all i needed to just get a great quality router and modem. But when I asked them Cox said my speeds can’t get better and no one gets what they pay for and yes that might true only if you use the equipment they rent you.

This router is great. Of all the routers I’ve owned over the years, this has been the fastest, most stable, reliable, most coverage and easiest to set up. I always have skepticism with routers because they always drop the ball but this one has lived up to expectations. Downside is the hefty price tag. Especially with 6E on the way, it could use a significant price drop.

Purchasing the Netgear Orbi whole home tri-band mesh wifi 6 system was the best purchase I’ve made since moving into my new place. I had recently upgraded my ISP to ATT Fiber with the 1000 mbps package. Unfortunately , the router/modem combo that ATT provides is abysmal, specifically with wireless connectivity throughout the house. Even Hardwired my speed tests only reflected around 500 mbps. In addition to this I constant connectivity issues with Apple products. After purchasing and installing the Orbi system , and using my ISP supplied router in pass through , my download and upload speeds are 900 mbps down and up when wired , and over 600 wireless ! I installed one satellite in the living room and the other satellite in my sons room at the end of the house. I now have flawless connectivity in all corners of the house , even outside the house in my car. My Apple connectivity issue is no more , and my son and I can both play call of duty or fortnite at the same time while my wife streams 4K movies in the living room with no lag or buffering times. I also love that you can hardwire directly into each satellite. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, it’s performance , and the ease of use with the netgear orbi app.

    Finally coverage everywhere

I have had other wireless routers and spent lots of money on they to try and get coverage across my whole house but it never worked. I watched lots of reviews and the Orbi system always was the fastest with the best signal. My house isn’t big but there were lots of things blocking signal (microwave, fireplace, etc) and therefore lots of dead spots. I had moved my old router 3 times with no real solution. Worst was my garage was always at minimum signal which didn’t help when watching repair videos. With the Mesh system with 2 satellites I now have full strength everywhere! I even placed one of the satellites in my garage which allowed me to get wireless security cameras that I can livestream since the strength is so good! So happy I finally upgraded to a Mesh system. Why did I wait?!

    Amazing Router

This is the first time I’ve ever been excited about an internet router. I needed to upgrade my connection since I, like many, have been required to work from home. Let me tell you, this thing performs. I have many WiFi devices in my house, and this system handles doesn’t even blink. For a long time I thought my internet problems had to do with my service, it was the WiFi. I feel like many people pay for speed every month that they don’t have the ability to use because of their router. The app works flawlessly, and makes many powerful features effortlessly simple. Not to mention, the router is actually physically beautiful. Other routers I’ve wanted to hide or disguise, but I mounted these things proudly on my wall. They are just great devices. I’m a Netgear man for life.
