Get the speeds tou pay for
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had a couple other mesh routers, and they never seemed to be able to give me the speeds I thought they should. (I pay for gig speeds and could only get 100 mbs down) literally right away after getting this setup my speeds were exactly what they should be. The setup was easy enough I had to call my isp to register it on their system but they knew what to do. If you’re looking for an awesome mesh network and have a larger amount of square footage look no further. I get perfect signal all around my home now and I’m so so happy.

Won’t regret it
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these due to having so many connectivity issues with deco. I loved how it replaced my spectrum router and I haven’t had any issues since. I’m regularly getting speeds faster than the gig my plan currently provides.

Expensive, but worth it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just moved, and after having Spectrum for one month, the modem stopped working and was replaced by a technician who told me those modems aren’t the best. After that, I started researching to buy my own modem. Found out some modems use this Intel Puma chip which are causing issues, so make sure your modem doesn’t have that chip. After looking into a new modem and mesh set up, I found this all in one system from Netgear Orbi. This set up allows you to have a modem/router combo (or gateway as some call it) with one of the devices while the other is the satellite (think WiFi range extender but better). It made sense to buy this versus buying a modem and Orbi’s separate. Speed tests have run great and no more complaints from my kids about lagging and teleporting in their games. It was very easy to set it up through the Orbi app and a few minutes on the phone with Spectrum. The instructions and information like the MAC ID, serial, etc, are all easily found, they’ve made this dummy proof. This set up is future proof. Most people, like 99% of us, cannot take full advantage of the speed capabilities with this set up, so there’s no need to worry about having to upgrade this set up for a while. If you’re wondering the difference between the AX4200 and more expensive AX6000 model, the AX6000 does not have a modem/router combo version like this, so you’d need to buy a different modem. Also, the AX6000 simply allows for faster speeds that no one even has. There’s no justification to buy the AX6000 model and you can see YouTube videos comparing the two which will explain this. Yes, it’s expensive. But this is a clear case of you get what you pay for. The Orbi app is awesome too. You can tell what devices are connected to the main router or satellite, you can cut internet access off to any device, there’s a lot of info and features in the app. Stop fussing with that modem and router from your cable provider or that old set up from a few years ago and upgrade today!

Fast, Easy & Reliable
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had to replace an older Netgear modem/router and I took a recommendation and went with a different brand. 3 days later I returned that and bought the Orbi. It was really easy to set up, we are seeing full speeds for our internet plan and we have had no issues with random reboots and signal drops. Both of us work from home and are frequently on Teams/zoom calls at the same time and have not seen any issues since setting up the Orbi.

Workin good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far everything seems to be working as it should. Modem / Router and satellite both took an update and still works fine. They are getting the speed /data rate they are paying for now at 500 mb. Having the satellite hardwired to PS5 and TV seem to use to much bandwidth. Will switch them to main unit when they move to fix that issue.

NETGEAR Orbi CBR750
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moved into a new place with two floors and wanted a good modem/router combo with the ability to extend the WiFi signal with mesh. I have Xfinity and it’s been working great so far, providing download speeds of 577 mbps. I did have one issue with the satellite not connecting but NETGEAR support was able to easily identify the problem, and help me update the firmware. It now works very well.

Fast speeds, easy to use.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little buggy, but once you're up and running, this is an easy system to use. Software is not hard to figure out, but it definitely doesn't have the priority management that a gaming router has. We have been able to obtain excellent speeds, BUT you probably need more than 2 Orbi's if you have a house bigger than 2400SF, or are on more than 2 levels...especially if you have an older house. It does not love the section that has a metal roof over it, but putting an Orbi satellite out there fixed that issue. This system doesn't love lathe/plaster walls (we don't have wire mesh in our walls, so if you have wire mesh I don't think this system will work for you at all). We have Spectrum internet/cable so the modem was a breeze to set up with Spectrum...but you have to sit on hold for a bit. Not a big deal. Kids have fast internet, all phones connect easily, the smart TV's work fine with it, but the WiFi Philips lights are a little touchy, but doable. Again, you might need another Orbi if you have a big house, but if you are in an apartment or smaller house, this system will work well.

Great product, Best Buy needs work
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down this is the best modem router mesh combo on the market and it shows! My internet speeds are almost exactly what i pay for and i can go to my neighbors house 3 doors down and still have 3 bars of wifi. On the downside working with best buy to purchase this was a nightmare!

No Brainer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is truly an easy setup! Yes, the modem is built in this model. The app is very intuitive and gives easy insight to all devices on your network. The coverage is better than expected, I use one satellite and my coverage extends to my neighbors…..still get 600 down. My ISP is 1Gig and I get 40up any where in my house wirelessly. The added Armor security is a great add on that provides continuous security checks. I highly recommend this for the DIY type.

It is so fast
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased my Orbi system and I am amazed at the performance. It is so much faster than any modem/router that I have ever used. The app allowed for an easy setup. The app also has so many other useful functions. I am very pleased and may purchase an additional satellite. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Greater connections.
|Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From my old modem/router combo, certain devices in my home wouldn't even connect or would continuously disconnect where I would have to reenter password every time. This Netgear Mesh Modem/Router changed, not only speeds and strong connections, but changed my living. In such that now I don't have to worry about devices going offline and can feel supported.

Upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded my cable providers Modem and router to the Orbi and made improvements to coverage and speeds. I was getting less than 300mbps with the old modem and would need to reset it often to maintain speed. Now I get between 325 to 370mbps on my 300mbps plan. It was easy to hook up. I did need to use customer support I couldn’t finish the set up connection error. After the usual troubleshooting they asked me to plug it into a different outlet and it was able to complete setup. I had it on an old power strip plugging it direct to the wall. The app makes it easy to monitor your network.

Happy with Orbi!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were getting spotty internet service using our 6 year old modem/router, and were advised to switch to Orbi AX4200. It took over an hour and 2 different representatives to get this set up; but it's worth it. Our internet speed is much higher now and equally strong in all corners of our home. Just breathe and accept the setup will be time intensive.
