What a Difference
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Netgear Nighthawk cable modem finally died after many years of service so I replaced it with this Netgear Orbi. Right away I noticed a huge difference in the Wi-Fi signal strength throughout our condo. The hard wired attached TV typically had 400+ mbps whilst Wi-Fi devices typically would have less than 40mbps. Now Wi-Fi signal strength even in the back bedrooms are showing 200 to over 300mbps. Previously I had 4 Wi-Fi extenders located around the condo and they barely made a difference, now with just one Orbi satellite I’m getting awesome Wi-Fi everywhere. Currently it’s a full retail so I was a little disappointed but I couldn’t wait for it to go on sale.

Great upgrade to the stock cable modem
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We made the decision to replace the standard cable company issued modem for our second home with this one, and the difference is ridiculous. We no longer have internet outages or random modem reboots that happened all the time with the junk provided by the cable company. Fantastic coverage even when outside, pretty far away from the router. Never have had a reboot, and the speeds are great. The mesh networking setup is painless and requires no configuration. Just a well designed fantastic product.

It works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up a couple of month ago because I liked the Orbi mesh system in the past, albeit I switched temporarily to the Google Mesh Wifi system for a few months. When I saw that they actually had a router/mesh wifi combo that would work with Xfinity I gave it shot. My non-technical review – it works (mostly). I live in a 1900 ft 2 floor house which seems to eat wifi for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a midnight snack. The only thing that ever worked decently was the now (sadly) defunct Apple Airport Extreme Base station. My wifi speed is 150mbps from Xfinity/Comcast, and with this I get about 170-175Mbps constantly. There is a dead spot in one of my son’s rooms that we literally get no signal, and it covers there as well (albeit it does drop about 50% of the speed from time to time). It was easy to set up and I haven’t had to reset it due to unresponsive service once. Ever so often it falls victim to the “wifi monster” in my house, but generally it is a good product. I feel that I can safely recommend it if you have a service that supports it.

Easy setup, great performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My need was to correct dead spots in house. I purchased ORBI Mesh networking to fix the problem and it did! My side benefit was getting rid of the Comcast modem/router saving me $10/month. Installation of system was easy with no problems or phone call help. Comcast activation was automatic during setup process. I noticed that downloads were faster ie 75mbps comcsst and 125mbps on the ORBI. Signal strength is strong and equal and we have had no dropouts since installation. We have 2000sqft with bonus room/office upstairs. The modem is located there. There are 3 computers connected to that modems ethernet ports. The satellite is downstairs in family room. We have complete coverage on ground level including porch and back yard/garage. System has been up about 30 days as of this review. Highly recommend the ORBI, price is a little high but small price to pay for eliminating inet drop outs on laptops, TV and phone.

Just what we needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the Orbi to help our WiFi speeds and access throughout the house. We've had it about 3 weeks now and it has been great - we were even able to get Direct TV Now back and it works beautifully. Before we had to finally let it go because of constant buffering. Once we got the Orbi set up and saw the difference it made on everything else, I signed back up again for Direct TV Now and the buffering issues are gone. The satellite unit has increased WiFi connection upstairs in our house and I no longer have to move to another room with my laptop to get the Wifi to connect. Setup was very easy too and the app is great!

Picked these up for comcast\xfinity
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comcast came in and hooked me up to the 250 blast and popped the line into the main unit, set up was easy... I have the sat unit upstairs about 18' up and 30' away... no issues... i like that the app shows everything that is connected and you can boot them or turn off the connection if you want. Only downside was it was a little pricey.. even on sale.

Review after one year use and no problems with it
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased different netgear systems before tried them for a month and this one was the only one that worked for me at my house. I needed something to connect my doorbell, wifi camera, alarm system, enternainment system and computers. The range works perfect for the wifi cameras and I have so far not had any issues with drop signal, which was my problem with the other netgear products they have, and this orbi tri band is really good and fast.

Clear signal, expandable, smart home ready
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router and modem has all the features and more that I could ever want. It even has a dew more I didn't think were offered. The smartphone app is regularly updated with refinements and nice features. The signal quality is already very rich, but the versatility of expanding this mesh wireless system in the future and tweaking settings is incredible. Notably, the ease of viewing local wifi signals, home dwvice status, and easily selecting a channel for the 2 and 5 ghz signals with little to no interference is A+. Now, my connection on one device in particular doean't cut in and out likenit used to thanks to the app's visualization of nearby wifi networks with their respective channel frequencies. Setting up was relatively easy. It's sleek, stylish, and gets the job done while looking like a futurist device on a shelf or cabinet. Very pleased. The range is impressive on the cable/modem unit and covers out entire backyard; an expectected but pleasant surprise. Favorite new gadget. Upgraded from a previous generation cable/modem unit and this one feels lightyears ahead because it offers a lot more than just a current generation speed. Love the app! I've never had speeds quite this fast, ever. Only downside is the cost.

Easy to manage settings.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this WiFi system to get rid of the Comcast modem/router we were paying for monthly. Purchasing your own modem really pays for itself in the long run and gives you better WiFi coverage for your home. This better Orbi really is easy to configure and install because of the companion app. It let’s you see what devices are connected to your WiFi, and test speeds. If you line in a bigger home you can purchase more satellites to expand coverage in home which is perfect for dead spots in your home. I currently have the one smaller satellite that came with this purchase and is perfect for my 1,500 square foot home, I use to have dead spots with the Comcast router, only draw back in my opinion is price, it’s a little too pricey but really I’ve had no issues.

Impressive Modem/Router! A bit pricey
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I changed internet providers and needed a cable modem. This was one of the priciest available, but Best Buy had it on sale, so I thought I’d try it. I figured it would be better than paying rent to the provider. I’ve been impressed with the performance so far. Set up was relatively easy. The Orbi provides great coverage with extra wireless satellite. I’m very happy with it at this stage.

I should have purchased this years ago!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had two goals in mind when I researched home mesh WiFi equipment. I wanted to quit paying rent for a cable modem and I wanted to improve the speed, security and availability of my WiFi to every part of my home. The Orbi system with the built in modem easily accomplished all that. It will pay for itself in a couple of years in saved modem rental fees. I keep running speed tests in every corner of my home and can't believe the constant, greatly improved speed. I have no more complaints from my kids playing online gaming and from my wife who suffered streaming video buffering. It is easy to install with the app, but also has a browser interface which is not common with residential WiFi equipment. This has proved to a great choice and I only wish I had switched a long time ago!

Doubled my internet speed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup with Spectrum. Has doubled my wireless speed on Apple devices and is over what I am paying for from Spectrum. Originally purchased to have stronger wifi signal outside of home and it has accomplished that purpose also.

Upgraded From Comcast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please stop letting Comcast (or whoever) robbed you every month. I have been paying $10-$15 dollars a month for almost 10 years now with Comcast and now that’s all over. On top of the overall savings, the modem and router extends sooooo much farther than the factory modem. Speeds are more consistent as well! A must have if you want to replace your factory modem

Improve your wifi
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In an effort to improve wifi speeds throughout my home I decided to upgrade to a mesh system. My previous router/modem was getting a little long in the tooth anyway (over 3 years old) so this was a good time to do this. I went from having 25-40 mps on average with the old equipment to 150-210 mps with the Orbi. I have a 3500 sq ft home and with the satellite I see no real drops in speed anywhere in the home. This was a great purchase and worth every penny.

Perfect Modem/Router system
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reviewing so many positive reviews and those few negatives, I decided to invest in this system for my internet service to avoid the renting fees. So far I love the coverage and speed of the system as well as the extra satellite it comes with. The app lets you manage your preferences and also create a guest WiFi Connection for your visitors without disrupting your own WiFi signal. I’m not very tech savvy, but installation process and understanding setting changes are quite simple. Definitely recommend the investment.

Great BUT my service provider will NOT pair this!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At the suggestion of my cable repair serviceman, this was purchased. Went thru the entire set up (with the help of Netgear). My cable company could see the Orbi but would not/could not "accept it." Although no reason was given by the cable company reps (yes, talked with several), I surmise that the Orbi is geared for 5G which has yet to be rolled out to our location. Had to return it. Best Buy was wonderfully understanding. Will be buying this product if and when the 5G becomes available in my area.

great wifi system and Sooooo easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.having bought numerous crap wifi extenders-went to Best Buy and told associate about my not so great Comcast Xfinity Wifi. My home is surrounded by my neighbors all using wifi extenders that my Xfinity wifi was getting smothered. Being skeptical and desperate for wifi so I can use my iPhone, Ipad and movie box without the usual long buffering-set this up as directed. It was sooo easy. At first placing satellite Orbi the color was red and I thought Great another Bust in my home-a sideways ranch smothered by multistory-multi family homes, the satellite Orbi went on line few minutes later. I purchased another satellite so I can smother the folks surrounding me. I have coverage in my entire house including basement which Ive never had before.

Works great to cover my entire home
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great and never had a single issue. With the range extended I can get signal not only from all over the inside of my house, I get signal in the garage and (get more coverage than I had) in the yard before. Also with the build in modem I was able to return the Xfinity router they were charging me $13 a month for. Setup was quick and easy. So much better than renting that Xfinity brick.

Money Well Spent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When you look at the cost most people will shy away from it. But this is the best money you can spend. Talk about an improvement in signal and speed. Also most companies charge around $13 a month for their rental fee so do the math $13x24 you cut the cost of your Orbi in half. Buy the Orbi if you're tired of subpar performance by your ISP
