This is more than a blender! Best appliance you will have in your kitchen. This is multi-purpose and you will appreciate how much time it will save you chopping or slicing fruits and veggies. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!!...This also grinds and grates cheese! and it does a very good job at making smoothies and shakes. Super powerful with different modes to perform just about any job you throw at it. Definitely makes cooking fun!

Good blender. Took a minute or two to understand the directions for use. Bread making, cookie making, mixed drinks, standard shakes, and a food processor. This blender does it all. Would very much recommend it. Little hard to clean up as a food processor. Not sure if that is true for all. Also, need some cabinet space for all these features. But really - a great blender. Ninja personally makes the absolute best blender.

A very good blender and versatile. I would recommend it for its great price. However, it's loud! I like the fact that it doesn't slip when blending something.

I use it a lot. I love the versatility and functions. The only reason for 4 stars is that the lid doesn't always close correctly when trying to process foods and it's hard to say exactly why. The quality could be better (just look at the glue job). The spindle and shredder became worn within a few weeks of light use and there's virtually no warranty on the pitcher and accessories. That said, Ninja has provided me with some replacement parts anyway.

I love this product. It is exactly what we were looking for to make anabolic/keto ice cream. It is super powerful and easy with the IQ settings for smoothies. We love it and I can't wait to use the food processing portion of this. It will greatly benefit me to have a combo machine instead of a blender and a food processor taking up valuable space.

    Not great for bowls

I seriously needed a new blender. I bought this one because of the many options it has, but the main reason is to make acai bowls. It started out great, but now that I'm two months in, it just doesn't seem to blend my bowls very well. I thought the bowl maker cup would be great since it has the built in tamper, but not so much. Some of the ingredients are stuck at the top and don't make their way down to the blades, so my bowls are lumpy. And the bowl cup is too small for a standard bowl which requires two packs. So I have to make my bowl in two stages and a lot of cycling on the 10 speed setting. I also don't like that the manual setting only runs for 60 sec. Why can't it just run continuously until I decide to stop it? Also tried using the pitcher, but everything was spread to the sides, so again, couldn't get a real smooth bowl. Also tried making a smoothie that just did not come out smooth no matter what I did. Seems like it only works great when making ninja specific recipes. Overall, not impressed for the price paid.

I was able to replace my heavy, bulky old food processor, my old Ninja, smoothie maker and margarita maker with this 1 machine! I just wish they had a storage box that fit all the accessories for this model. Hopefully they will come out with one soon. I love it so much I even bought 1 for my daughter for Christmas!

=== My take === The Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate, if you haven't used such a blender "system" before, has a learning curve that will have you looking up the manual a few times before you become acquainted with all the parts and what they do. The effort is worth it, though, because as long as you invest some extra time and learn the ins and outs of all the functions and experiment with them, your time in the kitchen will become more efficient and your creations will look better and probably taste better, too. My favorite component is the XL Smoothie Bowl Maker since I drink protein shakes every day. The 1200-watt power is sufficient to break down my frozen fruits and ice and turn them into a velvety silky smoothie that I didn't know was possible. Prior to using the Ninja Foodi blender, I was using the Blendtec Design Series 8-speed blender which cost $549.99 back in 2017. The Foodi does a noticeably better job at creating smoothies which was impressive. My wifey, on the other hand, likes the slicing/shredding disc the most because it saves her a lot of time chopping vegetables. She initially said the blender was a bit intimidating and confusing to use because she's used to simpler blenders and she's not tech-savvy at all. Once I showed her how to use it a few times, she's since gotten used to it and appreciates having it around. In terms of aesthetics and build quality, both are excellent. The machine looks attractive and the fit-and-finish is very satisfactory. The large central knob actuates smoothly and the LED-lit words are bright and easy to read. At $229.99 (as of 2021-09-30), I'd say the value is quite good and I would heartily recommend this to friends and family. _____ *Pros: -It's a do-it-all blender system that performs well. -The build quality and fit-and-finish are excellent. -The chopping disc does a great job. -Makes silky smooth smoothies with a consistent and even texture. -Good value price. _____ *Neutral: -The four suction cups are too "sticky" and make it hard sometimes to lift off the blender from my kitchen countertop. -The 1-year warranty is kind of short. _____ Cons: -None.

It’s worked amazing, mostly I used big jar where I can do chopping, grate and also make dough, that big pitcher has all in one feature, But the problem was the box was not sealed when I get this delivered, but the all past was good so I just ignored at that time,

Swiss army knife of kitchen devices

I’m new to the world of Ninja products as a consumer, and went into this new system as an owner of an (older) blender with smoothie attachment, a food processer, and a famous-name-brand-heavy-as-heck countertop mixer. I stay connected to the blender to make meal replacement shakes every day, my daughter is a huge fan of smoothie experimentation, and my wife is endlessly prepping something different to bring variety to the kitchen table every night. The amount of devices that has my family whipping, blending, chopping, kneading and mixing require more kitchen real estate than we have, and inevitably involves someone trucking down to a distant part of the house to get the right tool out of storage. The Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate System is a jack of many trades that more than adequately answers the bell for whatever the task calls for, providing an array of solutions in a small footprint. In terms of what you get in the ultimate system, it’s pretty abundant: a 1600 watt motorized base, a 72 ounce power blender pitcher and lid, a chopping and crushing blade assembly (yes, like many other reviewers, it is sharp and drew blood when I handled it a bit carelessly), a dough blade assembly, a disc spindle with separate grating and slicing discs, and two different blending containers in a 18 oz smoothie bowl maker and a 24 oz. nutrient extraction cup. It also includes a feed shoot lid with pusher, and a pretty neat bookolet of recipes designed to leverage every inch of what the device can do. One of the biggest selling points to me was the raw power. This thing pushes 1600 watts, which was almost double my older 900 watt blender/smoothie machine. This motor muscled through whatever we threw at it, and to start the bench testing I went straight to the recipe booklet they provided and chose the one that seemed the most obvious to start with – a fresh citrus margarita. Because…margarita. This was actually a great recipe to start with because it started to walk me through the other really important feature of this device – the technology. I’m used to blenders with a limited selection of power options, but the Ninja AutoIQ technology is next level. This essentially offers you preset blending options tailored to whichever container is connected, and built for the recipes you would use those containers for. If my daughter wants to blend a smoothie or make some of her homemade nut butter in the smoothie bowl, she sees options for 'Extract', 'Smoothie', 'Spread' or 'Bowl' to choose from once you set the single serve cup or XL bowl container in. If my wife or I want to go to town using the larger pitcher with things like chopped veggies, or making some silky smooth homemade hummus (a staple in our house), fresh cookie dough or even more margaritas when I finish the first batch, we see options for 'Spread', 'Smoothie', 'Bowl', 'Chop', 'Dough' or 'Disc'. If none of those preset options of power or pulse make sense for what we are doing, we can press a separate 'Manual' or 'Pulse' button and customize the blend to how we want it. All of these options present on a clean interface of a simple rotary dial with a dark face and dark band around it that both have LED indicators which turn on when activated. The whole build is really satisfyingly simple and clean, but with a commercial grade feeling in weight and quality. I also love the construction of how the pieces interact, in that any of the containers need to be inserted and ‘twist-locked’ into the base for the base to actually provide options. I had an issue with my last blender in that, as it got older, I had to be careful about making sure the smoothie cup was clearly and tightly inserted…sometimes the blender would go on while the plastic spindle head at the bottom wasn’t quite inserted, and it slowly started stripping and making awful melted plastic smells. Doesn’t feel like that will ever be an outcome with this setup. I also like how the lids interact with the containers. The large 72 oz pitcher has a flat lid with an inset handle that lifts outwards to lock/unlock, and a release button to allow removal rather than just pulling right off. It also has a liftable cap for just a pouring spout if you want access to the finished product that way, which is a nice feature. It also has a feed chute lid for food processing projects with similar lock/seal capabilities. The smaller 18 and 24 oz containers have a really neat feature (to me) in that the cover/blade base assembly twists onto the top of either with ridges inside the containers, rather than how you feel the ridges on the outer edge on the top of a bottle or jar. It makes for an noticeable locking seal that you can feel trying to remove it after a blend, and again is really clean in terms of appearances. The cutting/chopping and grating spindles and blades are pretty straightforward (and sharp- drew blood just taking it out of the box), and the cleanability of the system overall is pretty impressive and simple. All in, we love the versatility of the Ninja Foodi Blender, and the Ultimate System really ends up being a veritable swiss-army-knife of kitchen devices. While we still will have some of the dedicated go-to devices for bigger cooking or baking productions that may warrant them, the Foodi does a great job of allowing us to tackle a large variety of food-based challenges while keeping the kitchen uncluttered, and keeping the treks down to storage to a minimum. First time to the Ninja Family, and it definitely feels like we may stay awhile.

I have only had this for a few days but I LOVE it. Completely blends and smooths rock solid frozen fruit in 30 seconds which is pretty nice. I have only tried the smoothie bowl setting on the smaller bowl blender but the regular blending functions work great on the big pitcher too! Would recommend to anyone in the market for an all around everyday blender. Plus a nice looking base I don’t mind hanging out on the counter when not in use.
