    A perfect little system!

I already own an OG Switch, but with Nintendo's decision to only allow one island per console for the upcoming Animal Crossing title, they were able to squeeze out a little extra money from me. I was on the fence about the Lite, but ultimately decided the turquoise version was the way to go. Transferring my save data and downloaded games were an easy enough process. Plus I'm still able to play on my original Switch, so there's no issues with swapping gameplay between the two. Battery life certainly seems better, but I tend to keep my system plugged in at all times, so it's a bit of a moot point with me. Graphically I think games look better on the Lite than in handheld mode on the full-size Switch, which is definitely a plus. The only potential downside is if it ever gets joycon drift, since I'd have to send in the whole system. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen, lol. All in all, I'd say the Lite is definitely worth picking up...but I'd treat it more as a secondary system; I still rate the "big brother" Switch as the best one to buy.

    Blue Is Great

So I've had my blue switch lite for over a week now and I love it. I thought I would be making a bad purchase since the oled has the better screen and upgrades and this is my first switch but I don't regret it. I'm constantly playing metroid dread and its great. I can get about 2 three hour gaming sessions before having to charge it. I do have the screen brightness a little below 50% to get that extra preciousinutes out of the battery. The blue color looks the best, in my opinion, compared to the others. What I really like is that the lite has a dpad while the other models do not. All you need is a screen protector, a case and micro SD card and you good to go. The portability is fantastic and there are accessories that can help with charging away from home. If you can't get your hands on an oled get a lite. You ll save yourself $150 and you can use that to buy a couple of games or a a game and some accessories.

The system is great for those on the go that want the better battery life and great games. I’ve got a launch console and purchased this with the intent of keeping this as the “primary” console and my original one as my home console. In case you’re wondering the differences are as follows: -screen and console are smaller in size and weight -battery is longer lasting -joy-cons aren’t detachable, they’re built into the system, which means no HD rumble, no IR sensor either -no kickstand -not able to be docked, this is a portable only system, but it runs the entire switch library as long as it doesn’t require the system to be docked -$100 cheaper That said, if this is a travel only supplement or you never play your system docked, this is the Switch for you. If you need the “switch” part of the switch, and want the freedom to detach the controllers and play the game on a tv, then buy the larger version (just make sure it’s the all red box version as that’s the one with the new battery and more efficient chipset like the lite).

This is my 3rd Switch and I have to say that it's the most comfortable handheld version Nintendo has. The picture quality is crisp and vivid. The battery life is comparable. Very portable with a solid construction.

Purchase this device for my parents during the Animal Crossing hype. Holds the charge well. It’s a great price compared to the larger regular switch. Compact and light.

I love this switch. I bought 1 each for my 2 daughters. It’s perfect size for them. Lightweight, long lasting battery and it’s just great to have. It’s definitely keeping them occupied during this pandemic. Id recommend getting one and setting up the parental control app to see their activity on it.

My son received this as a Christmas gift, love the portability of it as well as the battery life is great. This help alleviate the fighting over the main Switch. The only thing I wish is that when you purchase games cards that you can download the game, instead of having to purchase multiple copies of the same game.

Bought 2 of these in February 2023. One was faulty and would not hold a charge long. I did the repair through Nintendo which was still covered under warranty. Other than that my nephews love them and they fit better in the hand of children than the full size or oled switch. Game selection is good for younger audiences and battery life is decent.

I ordered this a little less than a month ago, and I received it in a week. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with it! I play Animal Crossing New Horizons on it every single day, and I can also watch YouTube or Hulu on it if I want a break from ACNH. I get about 4-5 hours of continuous gameplay on a charge, so it lasts a good while. So happy I was able to get one!

I got this after only ever playing on a Nintendo 64 all my childhood. I didn't want to commit to a actual switch, yet this was still a big step up for me. It is smaller than I assumed, but has proven to be perfect in just about every way! It is easy to use and navigate and excellent for my animal crossing adventures. One thing that has surprised me is the battery capacity, I was nervous that it would drain quickly, but so far it has exceeded my expectations, hopefully overtime it holds to that. I would definitely recommend this to anyone beginner like me.

Portable Gaming Perfection: The Nintendo Switch Li

From the moment I unboxed my Nintendo Switch Lite in its vibrant blue hue, I knew I was in for a treat. This sleek and stylish console, purchased from Best Buy, exceeded all my expectations. The 32GB storage capacity is perfect for storing a variety of games, from action-packed adventures to relaxing puzzle games. The first thing that strikes you about the Switch Lite is its compact, lightweight design. It’s incredibly portable, making it the ideal travel companion for gaming on the go. Whether it’s a long flight or just commuting, my Switch Lite has turned mundane journeys into exciting gaming sessions. The 5.5-inch screen, though smaller than the original Switch, is a marvel. It displays crisp, vibrant colors, making every game look fantastic. The touchscreen is responsive, enhancing gameplay with intuitive controls. The built-in controls are comfortable to hold for extended periods, and the buttons and joysticks feel precise and durable. Battery life is another strong point. I've clocked in several hours of continuous play on games like "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" without worrying about running out of juice. The USB-C charging is quick and convenient, ensuring I’m back in the game in no time. One of the standout features of the Switch Lite is its exclusive focus on handheld gaming. It's optimized for personal, immersive play. The absence of detachable Joy-Cons is hardly missed, thanks to the solid build and ergonomic design. The device connects seamlessly to WiFi, allowing for smooth online gaming and access to the Nintendo eShop. The game library for the Switch Lite is impressive, boasting titles that cater to all ages and preferences. From blockbuster hits to indie gems, there’s never a shortage of new experiences to explore. The ability to play both digital and physical copies of games adds to its versatility. In conclusion, the Nintendo Switch Lite from Best Buy is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a dedicated handheld gaming experience. Its portability, robust game library, and vibrant display make it a must-have for gamers. The blue model, in particular, stands out with its eye-catching design. It’s an excellent value for its price, offering endless hours of entertainment. Highly recommended for both seasoned gamers and those new to the world of gaming.

Great mobile game experience for a great price

I bought the Nintendo Switch Lite as a gift for my daughter, who had limited prior experience with gaming & no experience with mobile gaming devices. The device was easy to setup, easy to navigate and is light weight with great color & display graphics, as well as sound quality for the size of the controller. It holds a good charge (about 4hrs) but we've only had it for a little over a month - so we'll see how that holds up. It's great to take on long road trips and allows for the use of headphones, which gives my wife + I a break from hearing the Mario Bros. game soundtrack playing alongside whatever we are listening to. If I did have any complaint so far, it would be about the lack of a wired and/or wireless option to attach or cast the Switch Lite to a larger TV vs. always having to play using the controller screen. I've looked in the settings and haven't found any way to make that happen. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the Switch Lite for anyone looking to get started with mobile gaming. Two thumbs up.

My autistic son approves, as do I

I bought this console primarily for my autistic son since he loves playing on the regular switch we have. Got to the point we'd both game together regularly but some games he wanted to play required full controllers. Such as LEGO games and his train games on the device. Instead of buying a controller I decided to get him this, and he loves it! The switch Lite is as in the name, lite compared to the Nintendo Switch (old) fits better in my son's hands, the screen is smaller but I've noticed that the pixels seem more clean and crisp. My son was upset about the fact that the switch lite doesn't have vibration but personally with his autism its less stimulation. The battery is honestly solid, son and I spent a Saturday morning Grinding LEGO Star Wars the skywalker saga, bough a second copy so he had his own, and I was more surprised that my switch died quicker than his so thats a perk. Overall between my son and I we both love the little console, he likes the fact that it's easier to hold, easier to put in his backpack or in his words, "Not heavy in my pocket" Tempted to get the Zelda themed switch lite for myself, but I want to wait until we get his switch lite repaired. (Son wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and tripped and the console's screen is no longer responsive.)
