VPN - Useless (no internet connection)
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's ok, nothing special. It upsells you in trying to make you purchase additional items. It will scan automatically, but once clicking on it, it lets you know that you must pay in addition because it's not part of the 360 deluxe package. The VPN is a joke - once it's on, not able to connect. It's good for 5 devices including phones. I added it to my phone, it works so well in keeping viruses from coming in. Once on, tt doesn't connect to the internet. Digital voicemail becomes useless, unable to hear voicemails. Phone calls rarely come in because of VPN being on. Once I turned off the VPN, all of the text messages, voicemails, and missed phone calls came in. It was as if I was in a no service area, and I restarted my phone. I will never get this anti-virus in the future. A complete waste of money.

Posted .Hi Concern - Thanks for the review. Sorry for any confusion, but like product name says it includes Security Software + VPN + Dark Web Monitoring for 5 devices for one year - no other purchase required! There are bad actors out there that try to scam our users because of our trusted name - hope that didn’t happen to you?!
The VPN works for tens of millions of our customers, so for free support contact us at support.norton.com. Hope this helps - DWN

Not connecting to printer; zeroes issues before
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My printer now does not connect with my laptop and I looked online to fix the issue. The directions found did not show how to resolve the issue. The steps read go to SETTINGS>FIREWALL well all I see is SMART FIREWALL and from their I do not see the option to add my printer. Not happy at all.

Dishonest use of software. Need to give them your
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good value except that you will need to give Norton your credit card to activate the software. They will charge you in one year $100+ to renew the software. If you try to remove your credit card before the software expires, it will cancel your subscription. This should be ILLEGAL and considered a bait and switch tactic to use their product.

Posted .Hi Grace - Sorry for your confusion, but let me correct your misinformation:
This is a FULL ONE YEAR subscription which only needs a payment method entered for the *optional* renewal. (same way Netflix works) After activation, you can cancel auto-renewal and your software still works for the initial year you purchased. This certainly is not illegal, and understand your possible confusion, but giving people mistaken information certainly doesn’t help a Best Buy customer make an informed decision now, does it? Hope this helps clear things up. - DWN

Way too many notifications!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to Norton because I was getting too many notifications on Trend Micro and holy crap, Norton is way worse. I don't care unless something is actually wrong. I don't need to know every time a scan went well, just when it doesn't go well. I don't need a reminder every 5 minutes that my WiFi password is weak. Let me stop new notifications because I'm not changing my WiFi password. Run in the background and let me get to work without constant notifications. Trend Micro along with most other reputable antivirus software blocks viruses perfectly well. Just make a product that does its job and isn't so constantly annoying.
