It requires you to chop of the fruit more. It is very time consuming. Clean up is not great! And it gets jammed. This was not what I expected

This one does well with apples and pears, but anything else clogs the pulp shoot, leaving a big mess. Even with apples, the juice that still requires additional straining.

It does not get all the juice out of your fruits and vegetable and it does not move all pulp to the pulp bin. It would cost me at least twice the amount I spend weekly in fruits and veggies to produce the same amount of juice. But this item might serve you well as a seldom used weekend fresh orange juice maker
