The Oura ring I purchased impressed me with its overall quality and reliability. The build is solid, featuring durable materials that give it a premium feel without being too heavy. It has a sleek, unobtrusive design that blends well with both casual and formal wear. In terms of reliability, the ring consistently delivered on its promises. The battery life was sufficient, lasting several days on a single charge, and it paired seamlessly with my smartphone, maintaining a stable connection. As for accuracy, the smart ring performed exceptionally well. It provided precise health metrics like heart rate, sleep patterns, and activity tracking, comparable to more traditional fitness wearables. The sensors appeared to be finely tuned, with data aligning closely to what I’ve seen from other trusted devices. Overall, this smart ring is a dependable and high-quality option for anyone looking to add smart features to their everyday jewelry.

Good for sleep/stress, not activity tracking

I got the Oura ring for 3 reasons: 1) Sleep analysis since I've always had a terrible time falling asleep and getting enough deep sleep. 2) I was also curious about the stress insights since I'm on the anxious side which surely contributes to my sleep issues and lack of energy. 3) I wanted a low profile wearable device that measures basal body temperature so I could track my ovulation trends. Long story short, it did all of these things well. Now onto the cons: 1) I didn't know your fingers swell when you sleep so I woke up with the circulation cut off my finger. I now move the ring to a smaller finger before bed. I wish the ring was an open design to to account for how much your fingers change size over the course of the day/night. 2) It is really bad at activity tracking. You cannot "start" / record a workout like on an Apple Watch or Whoop. It will "detect" a workout and ask you to confirm afterward (ex. "Did you do a 15 min walk?") but it rarely detects the right amount of time, if at all. 3) It is difficult to grip weights or dumbells tightly because of the ring's bulkiness. 4) The ring is useless without the $5.99 monthly subscription to access your data. So factor the cost of the subscription into this purchase. Overall, it gives me a lot of valuable insights and it excels in sleep and stress data.

    Oura Ring, Size 9

I absolutely love my Oura Ring. It tracks my sleep, stress levels, menstrual cycle, readiness for the day - I’m obsessed. I have been debating on buying one for over a year now and I’m so glad that I took the initiative. I typically wear a size 7 in rings but had to size up to 9 with my Oura Ring to make sure it was comfy, not too tight, but also not too loose. I wear it on my index finger to get the most accurate result. It has been a great add-on to my life to improve my overall health! A huge positive to the ring itself is that it only takes 20-30 minutes to charge completely and can last me up to 5-7 days without needing a charge. It’s very comfy, lightweight, appealing to the eye and matches my everyday gold jewelry. You can wear it comfortably in the shower, washing dishes, and even swimming. I personally don’t take it off unless it’s charging. In my opinion, it’s more convenient and reliable than my Apple Watch. I will repurchase if needed in the future without a doubt. The only thing I had a concern about was the membership in order to use the ring itself, but after my experience with my Oura Ring, the membership is 100% worth it.

    Size up - runs small

I am loving the oura ring. It gets so much more data than the second gen apple watch that I have and i love the ovulation tracking. It runs small - I bought it for my index finger and wear it on my middle finger because it is too small ( I purchased based on the ring sizer in the best buy store) I contemplated exchanging the size but I learned to like it on my middle finger. Charge lasts for days. It is a little bulky but i dont normally wear rings so that might be why it feels that way. I really dislike that there is a monthly membership (its not too bad though). and I wish it had better ovulation/fertility tracking and I didn't need to pay for a seperate app for that. The seperate app isnt necessary but you have to think a little more without it. Also I dont wear it while lifting as it can get scratched but I will wear it for any other workout and in the shower and sauna.

Comfortable. A little bulky. Reads steps higher than my Apple Watch does so not sure what one is really accurate. Tracks my sleep good. Seems to scratch very easily.

I have eyed the Oura ring for over a year now. I loved the idea of a hormone- free birth control method (it pairs with Natural Cycles) & wanted to try it but kept hesitating. As time went on it became more popular and Best Buy began to carry it. I also met more and more people who had one and loved it. I finally took the plunge & am so glad that I did! I love how it breaks down my sleep and even more than that I love the solutions it gives to improve those areas when they are low. It also has a feature that tracks your stress and recovery to stress which has been very interesting and helpful! I do feel like it has scratched relatively easy seeing as I’ve only had it about a month but I don’t mind it. I pair it with a diamond ring on my index finger and love the look and feel of it. I wear it while washing dishes and pretty much every other thing. Highly recommend if you’d like to understand your body more or are looking for a hormone free birth control (obviously dependent on how regular you are, etc)

I bought this ring and had it for about 2 months and I want to give my honest opinion. I LOVED the ring, the ring was purchased as a form of birth control to keep up when my cycle. The ring was always spot on with my ovulation and when my period was about to begin. The sleep tracker was also extremely cool and overall the ring was awesom. The reason it is not a 5 star is because to begin with i didn’t like the bulky look of the ring, i have small hands and short fingers so the ring looked very odd on me. another thing i didn’t like about the oura ring is having to pay a subscription to the oura app AND a subscription to natural cycles. It’s kind of crazy that you pay $500 for a ring and still have to pay $100+ for a subscription

This gives an incredible amount of data and insight into your health and activity. Much better than a smart watch in that regard. Very good battery life. I easily go 4 nights without a need to recharge, which doesn't take long. Perfect time to recharge is if you are stuck doing computer work during the day. Durability of the finish is also good after just 3 weeks. It still looks brand new

I really wanted to try this out as I have been struggling with a good sleep cycle. While I have my Apple Watch I hate wearing it to sleep in so I gave this a try. I really love it! Not only is it comfy to sleep in but it calculates so much other information! Stress and Anxiety Levels has also been a winner in my book! It tells me when my “hours” are that i might go down a rabbit hole. Its even calculated when i might not be feeling well and giving my body a rest. Its a pretty awesome gadget and I highly recommend!

I was skeptical this would be just another health tech gadget and not provide much more value that the Fitbit or Apple watch, but it's so much more. I've really leveled up my sleep, activity, & rest since getting the Oura ring. I immediately started gaining great insights into areas impacting my sleep and daily readiness, and have seen huge improvements in both after implementing recommendations. It looks like a chunky piece of jewelry so the style is fun. The battery stays charged for days and charged super quickly. It seems almost every week as I collect more data, the Oura app presents me with new data points and insights for overall wellness. I LOVE IT! I can't imagine wearing a ring on my index finger all the time as many do so I wear it on my right hand ring finger, but I do move it to my left hand at night for comfort because it gets a little tight on my right hand overnight. Very durable. I strength train with it & do every day chores with it on, and haven't had any problem.

I wanted to get an Oura ring to replace my Apple Watch. I felt it was a more elevated look and enjoyed the idea that I didn’t have to charge it every night. I have now had the ring for a month, and I enjoy it so much more than my watch. The technology is meant to learn your habits to get a better idea of goals. It last about four days between charges. I often forget that I’m wearing it. Best Buy’s have the rings so that you can try the size, that is what I did and it is accurate. I’m really enjoying being less interrupted by screens.

Great product, great way to keep your health in check, and at the same time to brag about being married, since i picked the ones for my married finger. Already got that tan line going. Also, best way to keep track of your health because your doctors cant watch you 24/7. Key details can be passed onto your doctor's for better care. Just cause they are doctors dont mean they know everything. Get this product while available. Hope it improve some more, unfortunately my first ring had battery issues, so i reordered a second one this sometimes happens sadly, but cant let one bad thing knock em down. Great product end of the day.

I absolutely love my oura ring I’ve probably have had it for 5 months now. It tracks the same stuff as an Apple Watch (temp, oxygen, respiration etc) but better because I can’t feel it while I sleep. If you are a woman thinking of buying this I say do it. The information it gives you allows you to track your cycle to the tee. Oura also partners with natural cycles which is an app you can use if you are preventing or planning pregnancy. The charge seems to last 3-4 days and charges in like an hour and a half. The only down side of this product is no half sizes for rings and if you are someone that has their hands swell this will cause the ring to be less accurate.

I love this ring ! it’s everything an apple watch is, but w/o the screen ! (besides cool gimmicks like fall detection). What mostly sold me on this was the cycle tracking, which I know apple watch does do but the oura ring is way better at this imo, since for starters, when in measuring your bbt, its a much more accurate read through your finger than through your wrist. Not to mention the OUTSTANDING battery life, i used to have to charge my apple watch every day. I just love that it’s a ring, it’s just so sleek & simple.

This ring gives such helpful insight to sleep data and rest/recovery. It has been helping me so much to get better at spotting when my body needs rest days, when i should choose to be most active, and how to care for myself best to get great sleep. The fit is comfortable (use the sizing kit before you order so it fits comfortable while you sleep!!), and it is reasonably durable (although i do take it off when i do chores/ things that could scratch it, just to be cautious).

The ring is surprisingly comfortable, and I quickly forgot that I was wearing it. I really enjoy my sleep score and the way that the tracks activity it pairs super well with my Apple Watch as well to get super accurate activity tracking. Use the ring to integrate with Natural Cycles to track my cycle as well, and that has been a fun process, and I’ve learned a lot about my body through the tips and tricks in the app as well

So I've replaced all my fitbit and I like how it is a ring super lightweight holds a good battery life so far I've only had it for a week and I enjoy it want better than having a watch on. I do like how it's water resistant app is pretty cool tells you skin temperature sleeping patterns accelerated heart rates oxygen level overall great ring good buy. The only cons I have is I don't like that you have to pay to get all of the app details and is expensive.
