Many also highlight the positive battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, and caller ID capabilities. Disappointed

I was unable to raise up the audio volume sufficient for our needs. In addition, the instructions for some of the features of the phone system were too complicated. I was unable to figure out how to program in the codes to be used.

Fine at first but not long for batteries to go bad

Seemed fine at first, but within a few months the batteries didn’t hold a charge well. And a within a year the phone handsets get a distant tunnel sound in them, but it doesn’t happen all of the time, but a lot. It’s enough to cause me to get a different brand of phone and this stays just as a backup. Surprised this panosonic was not as good as my past phones from this brand.

    Poor Bluetooth connectivity

If you're just going to use this as a basic cordless phone then it works fine. However I bought this model specifically for the ability to connect a wireless headset via Bluetooth. The problem is that the Bluetooth only connects to the base and not the wireless handsets. This means that if you walk more than about 5-10 feet away from the base you will experience poor connectivity and dropouts. It doesn't make any practical sense to use a Bluetooth headset if you can't walk more than a few feet away from the base unit.

Wish I could hear more clearly and with more volume. Also wish that the shape of the phone was more comfortable to hold. I thought I would be able to have a better connection with a new landline without it breaking up for those I call, and this is just not the case.

Disappointed with sound which was tinny, and voice on caller ID was in many cases not understood. It was returned.

    Lacking needed features

Had for two weeks, replacing an older ATT system which we liked very much. First, you can't hear a caller's message or your default answering machine message in real time, so of no use at all in screen calls by listening. Second, I hate hearing the phone tell me, twice out loud, who the caller is. Third, the handset screen does not light up until you press a key, and that makes it impossible to read in dim light, but I guess it saves the battery that way. Fourth, none of the volumes are good for hearing impaired (not deaf by any means) as I am.
