The picture and sound is great on this tv. Would definately recommend.

I was worried about buying a brand of tv I haven’t heard much about and had limited reviews, but I am pleasantly surprised so far. The tv was packaged well and also easily so you can remove the box from the tv without fuss. It’s lighter than other ones of this size so mounting was easier. I wish I’d have paid attention and released the power cable from the back area that’s secured with a dozen screws before I got it on the wall, so just fyi that’s where that’s at. I had some connection issues initially but that was my internet not being able to reach the patio, once resolved I got it up and running and the tv responds well, has a great picture in shade, and the audio is loud enough without an external speaker or soundbar to hear from 20+ ft away.

We love it, and for the price, it was totally worth it. Some notes though, as these things are hard to buy reliably. First, it's bright, and we have it on a south wall facing north, so it's 100% shaded. On bright days, it's a little washed out, but you can still see it. Overall, it's not a big problem, but makes noon football games on sunny days a bit harder. The backlight is inconsistent, but it's only obvious when turning off and on or on VERY dark scenes. Blacks and whites are very good overall, and colors are strong. The blacklight bleed is really not noticeable most of the time. The speakers are good, but won't win any audiophile awards. They are definitely loud enough. We mostly use this for sports on the patio right now, but we also did a Girl Scouts movie night which went well. The only *real* gripe I have about this TV is that WebOS is terrible, like really bad. It's slow, inconsistent, and often takes time to process any input so you get confused about what happens when. I'm using it now, but have an Apple TV we'll switch to when we put it back out after the winter. Seriously, they need to do a lot of work to catch up to the Samsung interface which isn't very good. Also, put a better processor in there, it's SO SLOW. I recommend this TV, it works. We've had it for about 8 weeks now and I have no actual complaints (other than WebOS, but there's an easy solution to that). I gave it 4 stars for the WebOS issues. Fix it with a box.

Don't waste your time with this tv and don't discard the box if you ignore my warning. The entire Web OS system is garbage, the TV is slow and difficult to use and navigate. I have Samsung, Sony, Toshiba and fire TV's that all out perform this TV. It is a headache waiting to happen. I have completed 2 factory resets and worked with support and it comes down to that LG operating systems are garbage.

Great TV! Looks awesome on the deck and does good with glare. The sound is also better than expected.

you will need to buy a tarp to cover it. any little thing can crack the screen.

Works well and the outdoor TV get a much brighter picture.

Do your research prior to purchasing, this tv is only 500 nits (brightness level) which is moderate for even an indoor tv. I had this tv installed under a pergola out of direct sunlight and could barely see anything. For $1899, very disappointed with the brightness quality. Also, dont bother contacting best buy customer service their completely useless, just go in person to your local best buy store.

Purchased this for our new covered patio and it is fantastic! I love how it manages to stay bright in different angles, super important for an outdoor TV. It seems durable so far.
