Watch out! Be aware that this will not fit the Roku Streaming Stick, or Roku Voice Remote (RCA1R). You have been warned, and Philips is no help. You will end up with volume button runaway. I used a Dremel to modify the volume button channel. You will also have to fill the void area for the shorter length of the Roku remote.

I went to Best Buy looking for a RCA or TERK universal remote after we cut the cord and went with Roku. We have a Blu-Ray player, a TV and a soundbar, all of which had to be individually turned on and off either with their separate remotes or at the device--inconvenient. Also, the TV and Blu-Ray player are quite old (purchased in 2006 and 2012 respectively) and I was worried about finding a remote that would operate them. At the store, I didn't see the RCA remote I'd come for, which cost $24.99, but I did see this one for $5 less. As I looked at it, I realized it was perfect for us. It has a recess in the back of the remote where your Roku remote can be installed. The installation is seamless and easy. Once I had the Roku remote installed, I entered the codes for the TV, Blu-Ray and soundbar, and each worked flawlessly on the first try. Now, we can turn on and off each device, operate it from the remote, and when viewing the Roku streaming, just flip the device over and use the Roku remote. I can't imagine anything easier or more convenient. I guess the only drawback I'd mention is that there isn't a "system on" button which turns everything on at the same time; you have to press the device button and then the power button on the remote for each one. I can live with that, though. If you have a Roku, this is the remote to get.

Easy to program! Works great, however my ROKU didn’t fit very well inside, when I forced it to fit it didn’t work. When I took it out it worked. I haven’t taken the time to try it again, perhaps the battery got pushed out of alignment when I forced the ROKU remote in. But this remote does work and works well!

The remote works well as an universal remote but only accommodates certain model roku remotes.This is a major draw back if you own only one roku device.

Works great but our lil roku remote doesn't fit into the open backside as advertised. Each work fine separately with our Samsung TV, Roku, and all the channels like Netflix and Amzn prime.

This universal remote does not work with our TV to switch from cable TV to Roku. It programmed the TV and works well with our old Sony TV but cannot pick up any channels, I guess because it does not work with our cable box. This is very disappointing because I thought I saw the company answer another customer's question about working with their cable box. The Total Tech support we received was excellent, though, as the agent helped us to understand why it did not work and gave us the ability to at least use the input function on our cable remote, decreasing the number of remotes we need to use from 3 to 2. I feel the description of this universal remote is somewhat deceptive, and they should make you aware that it may not work with your cable TV.

PLEASE READ The remote itself works fine and was easily paired with my TV and Blu-ray player. However, it's defining feature is it's ability to fit a Roku remote in it's cradle on the backside. This Phillips remote was sold as a package offered by Best Buy with the Roku Voice Remote Pro. Unfortunately, the Voice Remote Pro does NOT fit in the Phillips remote and I've come to learn any Roku remote with side controls (like volume, etc) will not fit. It's pretty irresponsible of Best Buy to be pairing the Phillips remote with a Roku remote that is not compatible.

The concept itself is interesting, however, I think the cost was a higher than it should have been being it didnt include the roku remote. It took a while for my Samsung to work with it, if I was to purchase again, Id get an all in one.

Works as it should for older Roku controllers but the newer Roku stick controllers seem to be just a tad longer so it doesn't quite seat all the way into the universal controller and snapped the plastic when tightening the 2 screws.

Remote is nice to store smaller unit inside and ne able to use both sides, but unfortunately the numbers do not work with my TV. Apparently not compatible and that is what I was going for.

Good concept having 1 remote that should work with Roku. The issue is it does not work with all major brands. I had a Jensen receiver that I could not program.

Sadly this remote did not work with my tv. Weird because it is a Roku remote. I tried every way possible to make it work and never got it to. I wish their return policy was different. I went on vacation a bit after I had purchased, got back and it was unfortunately to late for me to return. Now I'm stuck with a brand new remote that I have no use for. :(

They were sold as a bundle when I bought it. I had a time inserting the roku remote to the universal remote. I later found out that the roku voice remote model is not compatible with the phillips universal remote. I was wondering why Bestbuy bundle those two products. But individually, I think the products are good. It is the bundling that is bad.

It works great for the regular Roku but does not fit the 4k which is a bit bulkier remote.

Can't get it to pair up and the roku remote doesn't fit inside the Philips remote.

Started off working well then buttons randomly stop working making it almost useless.

I don't know why they advertised that you can insert your original roku remote in side this product i had to return it because it did not fit inside it it suppose to slide over it and it gives you a lot more options i was disappointed

My remote did not fit and I could not make it work with my tv. I returned it.

Device will only turn television on and off. Not really useful.
