I had the JVC KWV21BT for about 3 weeks and i had to return it because of the slow boot up time and the bluetooth issues. The Pioneer AVH-X3700BHS unit was on sale so i decided to go with this unit. I am so glad i spent the extra money on this unit. Boot time is very fast, backup camera works great, Bluetooth connects instantly, AppRadio is great, Mirrorlink also works great too. Better screen, faster response, great audio tuning features. I honestly haven't found anything bad with this unit. If i had to find 1 bad thing about the unit is the manual.. The wiring diagram isn't great for the first time installer and can easily confuse people. If this isn't your first install it's easy to figure out.

For the first 30 days everything was great except the android match up. It calls for a certain app but there is no such app ...nearest selections do not do what the stereo claims it can do. Post 30 days...stereo now decides when it wants to work. Screen can go black while music still plays, can turn off and on at random and most of the time you have no controls from the screen or remote. Pioneer says take back to store as its a processor problem . Store says I am past my 30 day return policy Here is sit with close to $700 worth of product between this stereo speakers and camera system that are virtually useless to me.

I purchased this for my wife's truck, she loves the hands free features as do I and streaming audio is outstanding.

Nice large display that's easy to use. It's got Pandora, the phone connects fairly easily and the sound is clear. The back up camera has to be mounted just right and takes some getting used to but not bad for an after market device. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the first one I bought had to be replaced after a couple of months as it kept shutting off. Otherwise I'm pleased with it.

This radio is easy to control, has great audio output, easily connects bluetooth devices, great microphone quality for hands-free calling, and was an awesome value when price matched with Amazon.com. The screen offers no protection from sun glare, and if it your viewing angle is not perpendicular to the screen surface, the image gets muddled. Due to the glare, I would think considerably on how much you value the ability to watch movies on the device.

Easy to use all the functions and menu and set up is very easy. Plenty of settings for the audiophiles that tweak their sound. You also don't need a switch for the ebrake bypass; just a normal ground will do. Only downfall is that the screen is not as smooth when transitioning through and that the buttons are actually under a single 'pad' rather than individual buttons, so you may inadvertently press the wrong button. The AppRadio is good; would be great if it used the phone's GPS and could support Pandora.

I love it!! No more wires from my phone to the radio, HD Radio has an awesome sound, it has a feature that takes the place of my phone, ( I can make and receive phone calls through the receiver [voice activated], all my contacts are downloaded in the receiver.) Great buy!!! No regrets!!!!

We purchased this as a package with speakers and geek squad installation for our son's 16th birthday. The stereo keeps my son's eyes on the road with the ability to connect to Siri and to play all of his music and answer calls through voice commands. Sounds great too!

This is my 2nd radio radio, 1st one was defective ... Very poor radio reception. Swamped it and got another. The 2nd radio's reception MUCH better than the 1st, but still lots of problems, it can't seem to hold any station (especially in HD) solid compared to my much older Kenwood. Other than this, I like all the features this radio has to offer, especially for the price ($260.00). The screen does get washed out by the sun (its expected). It's very easy to install.

Great head unit, very easy to navigate. Has all the bells and whistles that I was looking for. Using a smartphone allows you to run navigation without having to put out the extra cost of a similar unit with it built on n. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Looks great, sounds awesome, seamlessly integrates iPhone. Highly recommend Best Buy installation, since they had all the necessary components in stock, as well as the expertise to get the job done.

I purchased this stereo for Ford Explorer and it works great. I installed it myself to save a little money, soldered and heat shrunk all wires used and nothing blew up :) Mic for the Bluetooth phone works great, so far nobody has had any issues hearing me, love pairing my phone to the radio and listening to my music. Haven't tried out the usb yet but I'm sure that will work just fine, next thing on the list is to purchase a rear camera for it.

Sound is very customizable. Wish there were more background features. Pretty easy to use. Wish the menu was more condensed (I find myself scrolling a lot). Has a ton of features. BT is easy to connect. Haven't used dvd yet but have used all other functions and they work great!

The complete system is excellent for my family. My wife especially likes the back up camera feature. The stereo system has a great sound, the speakers are great

This is a really good receiver for anyone who wants simple or full range features. From bluetooth to usb and aux to HD radio and sirius xm. Also you can keep your steering wheel controls with the proper adapter. The in car phone setup works great and even has a button to access siri and speak your commands to your connected iphone or ipad. I installed this in a 2006 nissan murano SL with the 99-7612A metra kit and it did require some tweaking but is still something you can do yourself to save money. Also if you download the pioneer app you can use the receivers touch screen as a hub to display the phone features and mirror things like navigation right onto the receiver. So no need for the naviagtion setup dvd that some cars like this one require. The DVD playback has some of the sharpest picture ive seen on a 6.2 inch screen and the 13 band equalizer really brings your music to life. Reverse camera options are also available if your vehicle doesnt already come equipped with one. If your wondering about the amount of rca's available, there are 3 and an A/V out for connection to other devices. Lastly there is also a connection for digital amps which im sure most currently manufactured receivers include these days unless its just like a cheaper replacement or a simple setup single din.

Purchased this pioneer cd/dvd player and love it! I love that you can answer incoming calls on it, change screen colors, watch dvd's on it. The downside is that you can't be driving and have the dvd portion playing. It looks and sounds great!
