I upgraded my old dell dimension, which had 512 mb of ram to 1gb of ram. The system booted up properly and everything went well. Their really is not anything special about this ram other then its good price. And for all those people out their who said they bought this ram and upgraded their computer to 4gb of ram, and then their computer didn't boot, your problem is that your running a 32bit operating system, in order to run over 4gb of ram you have to upgrade to 64bits.

I have always use the PNY products-memory,video cards and usb thumb drives. Always had great experience with their products. My other memory was bad and went to my Best Buy stores ( 3 of them) because it is an older type of memory. Installed one at a time to make sure each stick worked. I now have a working computer.

Very happy with what the technician requested me to do to fix the problem and it worked out well. It was a very good addition and made a big difference in the performance of the computer.

I needed some memory for an older computer with Vista and Best Buy had it at a very good price. Geek Squad installed it very quickly and the computer runs so much quicker with no problems.

i had my desktop for more than 8 years and of course that it was running slow so i ask for a memory expanded and they did now its running so good, fast so i like it!!

I took my computer to the Geek Squad and they installed the memory and made sure the computer was working. Very easy and quick fix.

I am not a computer geek but how hard could it be to plug in a new RAM module. I have no clue what DDR2, PC2-5300, 667MHz mean but I thought doubling the RAM on my 5-year old Dell XPS 400 might be a good idea. The pc was obviously struggling with streamed content giving jittery performance and screen freezes. So I knocked back a beer, went to my local BB store and found about 25 choices in upgrade RAM modules on the shelf. Asked the Geek Squad what to get and they recommended this. Took it home, cracked open another beer for good measure, jammed the chip down in there somewhere, opened another beer for good measure, and fired up my computer. It says "you idiot, you finally put enough RAM here to do something" and has worked great ever since. It is clearly faster now with streamed content and also faster with everything. I recommend this product.

Very easy to install just like any RAM, bought 2 RAM sticks, turned on the comp and recognized immediately and was able to see results. Faster running comp, multi-tasking is better and even web browsing improved and games run better. Overall, good bang for your buck.

Great Item and a good buy for the price. I bought two and they worked well and they were easy to install. The heat pads make it better so they don't overheat. This ram works fine on PC2 computers and this will work on a computer running a PC2-4200 but the computer will always run at the lower number. (e.g. If you have a 5300 and a 4200 both will run at 4200) A great buy!

Bought this 2GB bundle and could not believe the difference while multi-tasking and playing different types of media. Added the RAM upgrade with a 500GB seagate HDD and really brought the system back to life. For the price and the performance you get, you can not go wrong with this buy.

I was checking out some of the other reviews on this product, and I actually laughed at the people that said they were having issues when they were upgrading their machines to 4GB with Windows Vista. If you have a 32 bit Windows Vista, you cannot go higher than 3 GB, your machine will not recognize the extra memory and possibly your computer will not run correctly. If you have a 64 bit version of Windows Vista then you can upgrade your RAM to 8 GB. I have a 32 bit version of Vista on my Dell Inspiron, but only had 2 GB on the machine and I needed to upgrade my machine to 3 GB to get the performance I was looking for, and mind you I only surf the web, use iTunes, Office 07, and Nero 9, and now I am getting the performance I was expecting with such a minor upgrade! This product is a must have for someone looking to upgrade their current machine, and buy it while it has that hot price of $19.99!!!

This product works great. It took longer for my computer to shut down then it did to install it. Once installed I noticed a immediate difference. I went from 512 MB to 2 GB. Make sure you purchase enough. You wil probaly need two. 1GB X 2 cards= 2GB. I also decided to upgrade the ram in my laptop. It's supper easy.

This is a great product. It was easy to install which is always a plus and I especially like the the heat pads that keep the memory from overheating. I have been very pleased with my PC's performance since installing it as well.

This is the most awesome ram I have ever had in my entire life. The price was insane. A tip from me would be wait for the sale. This is actually very badly priced but in the sale paper it was 35 dollars! I'm dead serious. I bought 2 because in my computer it has to be installed in pairs and now my computer went from 1 gig ram to 3 gig ram! Horrible price but awesome ram. Just wait for a sale and then go for it. I would recommend it to everyone for the price I bought it at.

This is a perfect RAM upgrade for All DDR2 desktops! Get a year or few more out of your current PC by maximizing the RAM installed. I got this on sale and can't beat the price!

Installation was a breeze and memory was recognized immediately with no problems or hiccups whatsoever. 30.00 for a 1GB stick of memory is a steal, I went back to get some more today and they are back at regular price. I am mad at myself for not buying another stick. This was installed in my Dell XPS 600 and I have definitely noticied enhanced system performance when using iTunes, Firefox, Outlook 2007 Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.
