Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the ease of use and ample storage of the DUO Link 128GB USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive. Many appreciate its compatibility with Apple products and the speed of file transfers between devices. While some users found the app needed improvement and instructions could be clearer, the overall experience was positive for most. The compact size and reasonable price were also frequently praised.

Great Storage Device for MP4 files
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I purchase the PNY Duo Link 128 storage device. I though it was the greatest thing invented for apple ios. I convince a few family member to purchase some for themselves. Until a month or two later after use, two of my family members had the lightning digital adapter fall off or stuck inside iPads. I also ran into a software problem with mine. I send it back to PNY,com and they replaced it with a new one no questions asked. Another negative feedback for the PNY Duo Link...ios only support MP4 files. It will not support AVI or MKV Positive Feedback: You can download large video files without using your storage space on your device. I highly command not to use it for important critical files that you might end up losing them. I almost forgot to mentioned. The price fluctuates on Bestbuy website. One day it will be regular price, two days later it will be 50-75% off. I paid $39.99 for 128GB.

Nice device / Not nice application needed to use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lots of space on the 3.0 flash drive and it fits both lightening and USB, however, it was quite tricky to set up on my iPhone. I had to first download a Duo Link application, which I was not expecting. Why don't they make it so it connects right away when it's plugged in to the phone? That was a bummer. It seems easier just to plug my phone directly into my laptop to back up photos.

Only works with DUO iOS app
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using the free DUO-link-4 app from the app store it backs up all your pictures, movies and iTunes-only music. It also will do a 'move' which removes the files from your iPhone/iPad to free up space. Easy to access from home computer with USB 3 type-A plug. iOS 13 was suppose to allow usb access from the apple Files app, but that does not work with this. You can copy music from your home computer to this, but again, you have to play them with the DOU app, which is not user-friendly.

Good backup but with some flaws
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device does what it is supposed to do, if you keep retrying after it hangs or stops working. I love being able to backup my photos and videos so easily and then being able to transfer them to my computer. The pro for this device is that it does backup the files and it is easy to transfer them to a computer since it has both a lightning cable and a USB type A cable. It was easy to use but the backup crashed multiple times. Each time, I had to restart the process. It eventually backed up all of my photos but it took a few retries. Once I got them, I noticed that they were organized into various folders and it tried to be smart about how it organized them by categorizing the types of photos. The problem is that is not what I want. I want all of the photos together, arranged by date. Now that I have my photos, I have to look in multiple folders to find photos for a single event. That is a major disappointment.

Nice but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At the moment, you need to use the PNY app to interface with this drive directly. Even with the changes to iOS 13, you don’t have access to this drive via the Files app. You NEED to use their app to access/transfer files. The app itself is old and clunky and isn’t optimized for recent phones. With that said, it’s decent if you’re trying to unload photos and videos to a computer. There are other ways to do this, but this drive makes it a bit simple, especially if you can get this drive on sale. If you have a USB drive already, look into the Lightning-to-USB 3 cable from Apple.

Really Slow & Abruptly Stops Transfers.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really Slow & Abruptly Stops Transfers. Build quality is good and the App’s UI looks simple, but I couldn’t get it to work. It’s possible I didn’t know how to use it properly. I was trying to clear 64gb of pictures and videos, it kept stopping before it it could finish transferring files. I gave it a few attempts but it didn’t work out for me.

Not Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a tech person. Just a senior citizen trying his best. Good points: easy to use with app, alot of space available 128 gigs. However, most of my videos only transfered to my computer musicwithout the video and be wary of transfering contacts as I lost some. Glad I keep paper records lol.

PNY stick
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great stick to put a ton of pics on, especially to save room on your phone. Only reason it didn’t receive a 5 star is because it seems hard to print them.

Difficult to operate
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Storage on flash drive good but unable to get pics from phone to transfer automatically Just a plain flash drive would have served the same purpose at a lesser cost

Photo stick review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never used a photo stick before. Poor directions. Not as easy as plug it in and it finds your pictures. Only did my phone so far and it took a long time. Plugged it into laptop but nothing happened and I don’t know what to do.

Ok but not great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the storage in iPhone these days 128gb is like nothing but that’s my problem. The app is not the most user friendly and transferring files were not super easy nor fast.

Wishing for a simple way to transfer photos
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn’t able to get the use out of this that I wanted. It didn’t seem to upload all of the photos & videos from my phone, and when I transferred them to my desktop a lot of the files would not open. Perhaps it is an issue with my computer but overall I was not very happy with the product.
