Simple Upgrade for my HP Pro 6200

My HP Pro 6200 was struggling with 4k Youtube content using the integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 2000). My upgrade options are somewhat limited due to the 240W power supply (max 30w at the PCIe port) and the small form factor case (requiring a low profile card). This card has made a huge improvement and seemed to speed up overall performance a bit. Installation was simple. It would've been nice if they included a tool to help switch to the low-profile bracket, but not a huge deal. Drivers/NVIDIA control panel installed no problem. Being a WDDM 2.0-compatible GPU, GPU utilization now shows up in the Windows 10 task manager as well.

Was looking for a little upgrade on my older system. It had built in AMD video and my monitor is Dvi. I read conflicting info as to whether it would be plug and play or if I'd have to do some setting changes before installing. Went ahead with plug and play. On first boot after install it took a little longer than normal, then booted to Windows 10. A few minutes later, got a message that there was a software update to download and install. Did that and rebooted Working fine. I do some photoshopping, watch some videos, and play a few games on the computer and it does seem to perform a little better. An inexpensive upgrade to get a little more life out of what started as an HP 500-217c and has since has hard drive, memory, and case upgrades.

The Pny - Verto Nvidia Geforce Gt 710 2gb Ddr3 Pci Express 2.0 Graphics Card is an excellent graphics card for my Windows 10 Dell computer. It provided me with terrific graphics and a very clear image. I use it a great deal in online gaming and surfing the web. No distortions or problems at all.

I opened this box and to my surprise, this is not a x16 compatible video card. It’s too late for me to return but let’s just say I won’t be buying anything from Nvidia anymore. This card will not fit into a pci express 16 slot….way too small.

I have not installed this card, so I cannot honestly rate it even though I gave it 5 stars. I bought this video card because I thought that the integrated video was going bad on my motherboard. Turned out that the monitor cable was defective.

The Pny - Verto Nvidia Geforce Gt 710 2gb Ddr3 Pci Express 2.0 Graphics Card is a Good basic display card for home usage. It allows general acceleration to your work flow with plenty of space for the standard HDMI monitors. Set up was easy but highly recommend that you back up your machine and perform a set check point on your machine. The config deleted my audio drivers and because I have an older machine they are required to be pulled from Win 7 into the Win 10 environment verses PNYs set up that rendered my sound un workable.

Great little card that got me out of a problem. I didn't need a super-fast/high RAM card. This card did the trick, was in stock, and went right in. Easy to install, drivers worked, and back to full HD and supports all my needed software. Prior graphics card bit the dust. So, low cost, good reliability, and full software support. I can't complain, and does everything that I needed. Not for games, just business apps and general computing. So, met my needs and very happy.

This works as anticipated. I was trying to watch a YouTube video and my APU was at 100% use and not even playing the video back, so I decided to look into a lower end graphics card as I do not need to play all the fanciest new games or anything like that. So after about ONE WHOLE minute of pain staking research I found this. It was basically this model or a 1GB version that my local best buy had in stock, I went with the 2GB version just cause the price difference seemed too low not to. Supposedly it supports 3 displays I have not tested that I just have it running to a 32" hdtv as of right now. All my content now loads with no studder and my APU usage is now down to 20-ish% ("ish" definition: generally around this number but does fluctuate, never going above 40% under a normal work load). Also on a side note I am able to play Smite at max settings in 1080P so that's fun lol.

Great card for an older Dell PC running Win 7. I needed a 2nd monitor for a Youtube stream using OBS. My other card failed. This went in and loaded without an issue. Been using it everyday for a live screen capture stream since 2021. Still going.

I needed to replace an older NVIDA Quadro Graphics card in my PC that would not run dual monitors and the fan was really loud. This PNY - NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 Graphics Card did exactly what I needed it to do. It is much more quieter than the original card I had it my DELL Precision 390 Desktop CPU and was able to use two monitors with my Windows 10 OS. The new card was inexpensive and fixed met every requirement I had. It was plug n play.

Changed CPUs to one that did not support integrated graphics, so I needed a discreet card. Didn't need a lot of horsepower, so I looked for the cheapest card that would work on a half-height PC, and this fit the bill. Comes set up for full-height along with a half-height conversion bracket. Conversion only took a minute, and installation went smoothly. I threw out the disc that came with it and just downloaded the latest drivers from NVidia for Windows 10. Handles multiple monitors nicely.

For the price you can’t go wrong. Put it in a 2012 old HP AMD desktop and has upgraded my ability to edit pics. It was getting pretty slow with onboard graphics but has now given me renewed life to the PC for at least another year or two. Again, I do basic pic editing and creation on PicMonkey so it’s working great. Easy to install, drivers work well.

I purchased the GeForce 710 graphics card for a refurbished HP Pavillion desktop. I'm running audio production software on it and the performance is fantastic. It can run some older game titles decently at 1080p but any newer more demanding games would choke if you don't bring down the settings. If your not a serious gamer and are looking for a nice little boost in your gpu performance, I would highly recommend it.

Wanted to add a second monitor to a work computer this did the trick perfectly for a low price. Not sure how it would do for gaming but for spread sheets and daily work, works perfectly out of the box. Windows 10 on computer installed card turned on computer and it just worked.

Good Basic Graphics Card Not for Gaming

This is a good graphics card for basic everyday computer use such as web browsing and watching 4k and HD content on YouTube. This card is NOT for gaming or anything graphically intensive such as video editing. The price point is around the lowest you'll get for a graphics card in 2021 given the widespread gpu shortage. If you understand and accept its limitations you'll be more than satisfied.
