Received my unit on time and in good shape. However that's where the good experiences ended. During assembly it became evident they provided an incorrect part. Not sure if it was the computer, the gray console piece the computer set in, or the stationary handlebars, but none of the holes lined up between the those three pieces and the machine itself. Wrote ProForm customer service an email with photos and received zero response. Attempted to call, stayed on hold for longer than I should have. Unfortunately at the time, Best Buy was sold out so I could not exchange. Had to go through the hassle of reboxing and scheduling the return. Best Buy was great in the whole process. Also, like many other of the reviews, I did not receive any documentation for the 1 year of ifit membership.

This model is advertised as a Smart HIIT Trainer! It is not, it is an old model with no touch screen or Smart functions at all. It is a definitely misleading advertising and I will be returning it since the newest model on Proform website is cheaper than this! Would never expected this from BestBuy :(

Machine is good. Don’t pay for assembly, they hurry and don’t care if bolts are tight or not. Assemble yourself and do it right. IFit customer service is the worst there is, though the technology and service is ok. Machine gives a good workout. If it starts to squeak tighten the big bolts at the bottom of the frame with a boxed end wrench or socket, not an adjustable wrench as mentioned in the last instructions.

No real problems with assembly, but the main section is heavy and moving it is a 2 person job. Have not read the reviews since I purchased it 2 months ago, but I am pretty sure people complained that it was loud - it's not. It's really whisper quiet. Maybe they had lose connections or had it on a hard surface...? That said it has developed a loud and consistent bang this past week that needs to be addressed, I thinks it's the flywheel. Like I said the workout is great. I'm still working my way through the different workout programs, and the manual is not much help at all. I also have not activated the one year coach service (I forget the name), tried to but the wait time was over an hour and never seems to work online.

Little bit of an issue setting it up. Be patient and you will get it set up. Squeaks a little, but it will challenge you. The ifit for a year was a scam. Got a free month and then they started to charge me.

Love my new machine. The assembly took some time, but I love working out on this machine. It is a great workout and perfect support after my back and knee injuries. I would Definitely recommend.

I love this machine. It is well built/sturdy, has many on- board programs and provides a great leg and cardio workout. However, DO NOT expect to get the free 1-year iFit with your purchase. It will NOT be in the box and Bestbuy will re-direct you to reach out to iFit directly but you will never be able to speak with or chat with anyone over there. Because of the iFit issue, I gave it 3 stars because I feel deceived.

Easy to assemble, doesn't take up as much space as a traditional elliptical. It feel like a mix of a an elliptical and stair climber, which provides a very good work out. The only thing I didn't like; to use it you have to sign up for that ifit garbage which required a credit card to activate even though it was free for 2 weeks.

Got the HIIT as an after Christmas present to myself. Best investment. So far I’ve hiked the Grand Canyon, Mount Fuji, and the Swiss Alps. Now I’m on the Scottish Highlands. The iFit program was worth it. I’m not one for gyms. Cycling is my exercise. That’s hard in New England Winters. Having a trainer lead me through some trails keeps my attention. No code as others said but I don’t remember having to wait long. It’s a workout just putting it together. Mine did start to bang a little but I’ve noticed the noise has gone away the last few workouts. I do wish the iFit program let me store multiple series. It’s a pain going back to find it and continue. I like to switch it up.

There have been a lot of "stair climber" fitness machines built and - equally importantly - priced for the home market. They've been cheap: cheaply designed, they are cheaply assembled collections of cheap parts. The ProForm Smart HIIT Elliptical Trainer is the long-awaited exception that has finally brought professional fitness center technology home. And we're not talking about the home on the Upper West Side with a Covid-19 refuge cottage upstate. Yes, this machine isn't cheap, but it is affordable and it is built with the feel, action and durability of professional fitness club technology that would typically be four or five times the price. The elliptical action on this is far shallower forward and back, making this feel more like a stair climber than a traditional elliptical. This also results in a smaller footprint, another valuable feature. The flywheel action and resistance adjustment is extremely smooth, something almost always only to be found on far more expensive machines. So, why did I rate this product at four stars instead of five? First, the heart rate sensor is worthless; utterly and consistently inaccurate. Second, the machine is mounted very (VERY) slightly tilted on the base supports. However, neither of these defects would have changed my decision to purchase this machine. I would recommend this product without hesitation.

Very pleased with this stepper. Put it together myself in about an hour. I’m trying the one month free iFit subscription and so it’s a fun way to change up the exercises. The machine is quiet and really gives a workout. Bought it at the $699 price point and it was a great deal!

At firsts I was worried about the assembly, but once I ordered it and started it was not hard. I’ve had it now for more than 3 months and I love it. I use it everyday. I have hurt my ankles several times so this machine was great to workout and not feel pain.

Got this product in March from a nearby best buy store. it only worked for a couple of months. then it started making lots of noise. the manufacturer is too slow to respond and dont even have a phone number. can only chat from their website, which takes about 45 minutes to even get to a person, each time. After a month of back and forth, i was able to get a technician look at my elliptical. but it starting making noise as soon as he left. I also got 5-year geek squad warranty, which is also useless. Since they don't have any technician nearby, i was told that i cannot get a service. so, i am back on a back and forth with the manufacturer to get a service scheduled, which is again progressing very very slowly. This product is not worth the money. Better to spend more and get a different model that has a local technician (manufacturer or Geek squad).

This is an incomplete review- will update later. But like everyone else, iFit isn't in the box. On hold now. So far online chat did verify I should have gotten the year of iFit membership and directed me to a Best Buy 888-237-8289. I was then informed that the membership is included but up to the manufacture and may not be included. I read her exactly what is on the product description and also noted the many unhappy reviews due to this. Buying from Best Buy just saves you a little bit of money opposed to buying directly from ProForm which also includes the year memebership trial and sets up/installs the machine for you. As far as assmebly, with power tools it was a breeze. Only took a little over an hour and half. The heart sensors are scratched, but I am not really concerned with that as it isn't a reliable monitor to begin with. Waiting for a call back which might take up to 45 minutes. Hopefully Best Buy can resolve this issue tonight. Other wise I have to wait until Monday to call iFit to help.

I love my Smart Hiit Elliptical Trainer. Its easy to use and perfect size in our small living room. I had a little problem with the ifit at first but after contacting ([email protected] ) I got my 1 year free subscription.

I am one of those that rarely leave reviews on products.This item has a very loud squeaky noise that I need to call the manufacturer to get it resolved.It works fine but the noise is annoying and I felt it should have been rectified based on previous reviews.I bought this about 2 months ago and it shows the one constant issues consumers had since this was released about 2 years ago is still prevalent!! I have yet to set up the 1year free fit membership that came with it.I will try to set it up this weekend and update this review!

Looks like the company doesn’t do and QC before shipping. The side sticker was missing some letters. The spinning wheel had oil run off marks on outside. No I-fit annual membership in the box. Called proform customer care but they suggested to call ifit customer care. Apart l from these issues it performs great.

Great quality product. Love all the extras. Only complaint would be that ifit is such a big part of this unit and to use that you have to pay a monthly fee. I will give it a try for a few months and see if it's worth the cost

I upgraded my 11 year old elliptical to this. Bestbuy had a incredible sale price at $699! Delivered for free and brought it to my basement. Took a little over a hour to assemble. I got the Ifit program for 1 year. Had to call ProForm to get it. Took about 45min to get to talk to someone but worth it. Call ProForm not IFit for that. Everything works great but only issue is fan makes a noise when on. Waiting to hear back from Proform on that.

I gave this as an early holiday gift. After researching other Elliptical trainers I found this model to have the smallest footprint and that is important. The reports of ease of use come from my daughter. She is very happy with how the unit performs.
