While the device is built well and perform a lot of tasks especially for its size, I still think it’s a little over priced and if you do your research well you can find better options out there.

This laptop was almost a dream come true: great looks, latest gen processor, dedicated GPU, size and weight to make it a truly portable. The RAM is soldered in but you can still upgrade the NVME SSD. But the keyboard is a true love it or hate it. It resembles a MacBook’s layout except for the right shift, which is next to the Up arrow. The arrow buttons should have been placed under a larger right shift key.

The unit I purchased doesn't have any internal problems but aesthetically this is unacceptable. I didn't realize it until today when I tested out a game on it for the first time and admiring all 13.3 inches of pixels is when this stuck out like a sore thumb. The screen hinge looks and feels bent/dent inward. This must be the $300 off discount.

I’ve used this as my main laptop for about a month. Had it docked onto my 35-inch 100hz wide gaming display while working at home. I’ve also taken this on multiple business trips. When it’s not plugged in, performance is limited by the battery and obviously it will cut back to save on battery life. Battery life when it is running on the GTX 1650 GPU is about 2-3 hours when you are utilizing it, on games for example. However, if you are running productivity software such as Microsoft Office, Chrome, etc… you can get a good 7-9-ish hours depending on your power and screen brightness settings. Usually when you are gaming, you will be tethered to a wall outlet anyway, which makes this great to take your Steam Library with you and play at your AirBNB or hotel room. Gaming performance overall is really good. It can handle just about any AAA title with ease when plugged in, such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Modern Warfare 2019. Price for the FHD version is $1799 MSRP which is really steep, but there really aren’t any laptops that perform at this level in this form factor and with this build quality. Also, at the time of this writing, it is currently on sale for $1499 making the price a little more attractive. If you value having your game library in an ultra portable sized laptop, then this would definitely be worth it. Being able to charge USB-C comes in clutch, however you need to use the 100W power adapter to utilize the full performance without draining the battery when plugged in. Otherwise, you can get more for less if you look at the 14 or 15 inch models. I appreciate where Razer is going with their Stealth series and a step in the right direction on thin and light laptops. Earlier this year they had an MX150 that was a slight improvement over the integrated graphics, however they made a really big leap with the late 2019 Stealth with the GTX 1650. I believe the next generation Stealth will have ray-tracing using NVIDIAs next line of RTX series GPUs for laptops and it will certainly be something to lookout for. However this current Stealth is definitely no slouch so if you can find one at a good deal, it is certainly something you can consider.

    Jack of All Trades

Bottom Line: This computer can do everything, whether you are a gamer, student, creative professional, engineer or some mix of all these things. It is a jack of all trades and it does it in the smallest package of any laptop on the market. Who Should Look Elsewhere: If you look at the specs on paper, this computer is not the best value. There are plenty of machines out there at the 14" and 15" form factor with specs that meet or exceed these at a lower price point. If you do not need the portability, look elsewhere. But if you need to travel light, if you work on airplanes and in hotel rooms and are constantly on the go, this machine is fantastic, there is nothing else that can do what it does. Performance: The i7 Ice Lake and GTX 1650 combo can handle any game at 1080p very competently. The fast RAM and SSD make this a very snappy laptop. 16 GB is plenty for gaming, productivity apps and multitasking for most people. The screen can get bright and is calibrated out of the box, it looks great. The choice of materials and design is immaculate. The thermal solution is great, this machine will not throttle and at full tilt it would be a stretch to call the fans loud. Battery life can be 7-10 hours with battery saving options enabled and lowered screen brightness and keyboard lighting. Gaming expect less than 3. Get 25 W on Ice Like like the Mercury White Model: A tip for any buyers who do CPU heavy tasks. With the GTX 1650 active, the CPU can only use 15 W, this limits its all-core boost clocks quite a bit. But, you can disable the GTX 1650 in Device Manager and get the CPU to run at 25 W! This has been super helpful for me when I run CPU export tasks, the i7 locks in at around 3.5 GHz across all 4 cores! When you're done, just enable the GTX 1650 again. (Note, if your machine goes to sleep or reboots with the GTX 1650 disabled, the CPU will revert to 15 W. Enable and disable the GPU again to get it back at 25 W). Other Thoughts: The charger is pretty compact for delivering a whopping 100W! The keyboard has more than one lighting zone, but Chroma only lets you program one. It's not clear how Synapse's power modes interact with the power modes in Windows. The pixel response time on the panel is noticeably slow and exhibits some ghosting, however unless you are the pickiest of gamers, it's hardly distracting at 60 fps. The finish is a fingerprint magnet. The touchpad is very large and among the best I've used. The right side shift button is awkward (I primarily only use the left shift button, so your mileage may vary).

I tried a few gaming laptops, including Dell, Asus Rog and Alienware, and while some were extremely powerful or a great value when looking at performance for the price, there was something always missing, or they were too running too hot, or battery only lasting like 2 hours, or plastic felt cheap, crappy screen... always something. Plus I wanted more portability and battery life, and to be honest, was always a bit jealous over my wife's MacBook Pro and its excellent build quality and features (but I'm not a fan of Mac OS). So finally, I came across this Razer Blade Stealth 13, the first real gaming Ultrabook. I picked it up, and so far I'm very impressed. The build quality is pretty much the same as Apple's, so A+ there. It is beautiful! I love the understated look and all aluminum body. It does puck up some fingerprints, but not as bad as some people make sound, plus it's easy to clean and it is very scratch resistant. It's also super light and thin. Just love the overall look and portability! Screen is excellent. Very bright and colorful. This is a 60Hz model, but it is fine, the GTX 1650 MaxQ is not going to be a frame rate monster, just enough to push around 60FPS at medium-high settings in most titles. Viewing angles are also great, and there is very little to no light bleed, the sides can look a little bit lighter with black background, but it doesn't stand out like with many other gaming laptops. I'll give the screen A-, I'd say it could have a bit higher contrast, but it's not OLED here, so it is outstanding for what it is! The keyboard is good. I like the feel and layout, except the right Shift key, as many will tell you, it's just too short and is easy to miss. But you will get used to it. Overall, typing is pleasant, I really enjoy it. The RGB backlight is fun. I usually keep mine on simple white, but it's fun to change it up sometimes. The only issue with it is that every time the computer turns on and off, it starts cycling through rainbow colors, even if you set it up to one color in windows. As far as I can tell there is no way to fix that, but it's a small thing. I give the keyboard a B. The touch pad is A+. It's big, smooth, clicks nicely and is very precise. Not much else to say. One of the best touch pads on the market. I also love that it's centered, just like Apple's. I hate when laptops have off center touch pads, and for some reason so many do, it's annoying. Razer does it right. Speakers are fine. They're louder and clearer than most. Not quite as good as MacBook's, but better than most windows laptops for sure. I would like a bit more bass, but they still sound great. The only problem I find with them is that they can get a bit noisy at high volume, over 70% or so. They get a B. Battery life is good. We're looking at around 4.5 hours of normal use. The charger is 100W USB-C and it's just enough to power the machine, to the point where it will actually slowly discharge when you play games, around 2% per hour, so it doesn't quite get enough power to run at full speed and keep the battery charged at the same time. It's not a big deal, just a bit weird. I would say the battery is awesome for a gaming PC, with settings turned down it can last much longer, but for me, compared to other, larger gaming laptops, it's just fine. A Performance. This laptop uses lower power components, and it prefers lower clocks, however it's still tuned so well, you don't feel it. It's snappy, and can comfortably run anything you throw at it, including video editing or gaming. With gaming, like I mentioned, with some adjustments you can reliably get 60FPS in most games, it is very impressive in this size! At the same time, it's not too loud or hot. The temps get to around 80C max (when many current gaming laptops easily go and stay at 100C all the time), and on idle, it stays around 55-60C. This is the first gaming laptop that I don't feel like I have to re-paste or under volt right away. And the fans are not too loud, even at full speed, and on idle it's completely silent. I give it A+ here. It's not the most powerful gaming laptop, but it is not meant to be. It is the most powerful laptop in its size and weight, and that's just amazing. Love it! What am I missing? The ports are fine, two USB-A and two USB-C posts, plus a headphone jack. Had to get an adapter for Ethernet and HDMI, but I'll take it, for portability. Some Razer laptops has issue with batteries in the past, I can't comment, time will show. I also hear their warranty is not the greatest, but let's just hope we don't have to deal with it, or it might be worth to some to consider the Geek Squad protection plan. It is too pricey for me though, I'll take my chances. Overall, I love it. This is exactly what I was looking for. There is a newer, 2020 model which adds a 120Hz screen and fixes that Shift button, plus adds about 8% of GPU power, but personally, I don't think it's worth it for $300-400 more. At its current price, this Late 2019 model is a great value, especially if you don't mind an open box. That's what I got, and it's excelent.

Build quality is equal to that that Apple's MacBook lineup, with a differentiated aesthetic. This laptop is perfect for my personal needs: I travel a lot, do MOBA gaming and am a designer. So, I need something light, with a good display, and sufficient GPU capability. Finally I've found something with this trifecta. The only room for improvement would be to have a high refresh rate display in future iterations; whether plugged in or on battery, this thing runs smoothly and - importantly - quietly and cool. Some reviews knock Razer for not letting the CPU rev up to its full potential; however, I consider this a blessing as for the type of stuff I do I rarely need all the CPU capabilities available today. I'd rather have a cooler system with better battery life and the ability to allocate power to the CPU as needed. While build quality is phenomenal, it's a bit expensive (worth it though as there's not equivalent). Also, still haven't found a Windows/PC manufacturer who can have as good of a touchpad as Apple's MacBook line, but at least the keyboard is great.

I am in love with this laptop. I have back problems so having a thin and light laptop is essential. Pros: This laptop is both extremely portable, but is also very snappy and powerful. I like playing games so the 1650 graphics are nice. The battery life is good. With moderate use (YouTube, excel, misc open and running) the battery doesn’t last all day but lays around 3-5 hours depending. The materials are super nice and it feels very high quality. I love using this computer. Cons: one thing I didn’t see any reviews mention is the sharpness of the edge of the laptop. When typing and resting my hands on the laptop the edge feels noticeably pointy. It doesn’t hurt but if I were typing all day I imagine it would become annoying quickly. Also, the laptop gets warm/hot pretty quickly if the fans aren’t left open to the air. The matte black surface is an absolute magnet for fingerprints, although the microfiber cloth that comes with it does a good job of cleaning them up. The reason I chose this laptop is how thin, light, and sleek it is for how powerful it is. I really like the look and feel of it, and it is professional enough for me to feel comfortable using it for work/school. However, if I didn’t need my laptop to be so light and I didn’t need a super sleek form factor and a webcam I would have gone with the Asus Zephyrus G-14 because it’s in the same price point and has better specs.

That a ton research trying to find the right laptop for my meet. I do audio editing, using digital workstation software. Which can be very demanding on ramp, But this has amazing and the latest ram and there are 16 gigs of DDR 4/3700 speed installed. Speakers of the best I’ve ever seen on a 13 inch laptop or should I say, heard on a 13 inch laptop. :-) It’s quick snappy, even though it’s only 15 Volts, it is a quad core I 7/ 10th generation. And the quality feels like a piece of sculpture, and it’s not a MacBook Pro. Portable, it’s for you. Quick, it’s for you. Great display calibrate it from the factory, it’s for you. The latest Wi-Fi and thunderbolt connections, it’s for you. :-) Maybe a A little on the pricey side, but it’s worth every penny. Highly recommend!

First off, I am a computer enthusiast and own my own computer repair business. I don't know everything but am pretty knowledgeable. I am absolutely impressed with this laptop. Hands down the best that I have ever owned. I've owned several models from all makers: Dell XPS, Microsoft Surface line and others alike. The cnc aluminum chassis is tough. It doesn't creak when I hold it with one hand. Its beautiful but look professional too. The keyboard is perfect to type on. Id take this over my Corsair K65 mechanical keyboard(Cherry Red switches) any day. The IPS screen is bright, crisp, and colorful. I heard it was a "run of the mill ips panel" but Its very pleasing to my eyes. Individually color calibrated from factory is a plus. Not one single piece of bloatware installed and battery life has been about 9 hours. Gaming with the GTX 1650 has been surprisingly good. I'm able to play at medium quality on all games at about 60fps. The keyboard does get a bit warm but I have haven't had any problems so far. I love that I have the option to use more powerful graphics cards using the Razer Core x/Chroma. Windows is always super snappy thanks to the Samsung nvme solid state drive and cpu. Ranks #1 on my list. Connectivity is great for the size. The type c thunderbolt 3 make this amazing to connect everything with one cable. Windows hello camera is a plus. I know I am not the only one tired of password and pins. Its doesn't recognize your face as quick as the Surface device but better then typing hahaha. Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 have been stable and haven't had any issue either. I only have 3 problems with this stealth. There is only 1 m.2 slot, it takes two hands to open the lid and no removable ram. That it! I'm not sure if the 2020 model addresses any of those issues but I will buy only Razer from now on. I hope my review helps everyone and I'm sorry that my grammar is not great. English was not my strong suit.

I needed a small and light work laptop and the chromebooks/macbook air felt a little expensive for how few things it could get done for me outside of work hours. I figured that if I was going to invest in a new laptop I should get something that is pretty much the complete package. Screen is bright, sound is good, keyboard feels nice not too noisy. This laptop works great, I really like the facial recognition log in and also it runs my favorite FPS games smoothly. Only three minor complaints: 1. The right shift key is unusually small and I often accidentally hit the "up" arrow button on accident. Other than this, I actually really love the lay out of the touch pad + keyboard. Gestures feel clumsy right now but improving each day (I feel this is more a user error rather than the laptop's fault) 2. The finish on the outside of this laptop is a fingerprint magnet, it's not pretty but also isn't completely disgusting. I'm on the fence about this because I could probably just get a cover or wipe it off periodically. 3. The power cord is REALLY heavy and more cumbersome to carry than the laptop. But the laptop holds a charge really well so if I needed to make a quick visit to another office for the day I'd definitely have enough juice to go, work, and return to my charging cable. For non-work I do find myself thinking the cord is way too big but usually because I'm trying to pack it into a small overnight bag or my purse. (Again probably a personal problem rather than the laptop's). The braided material around the cord makes it hard to unwrap it in a straight smooth line, so be ready to deal with a cord that is bent in 20 places. I look forward to when it straightens out a bit. Overall I highly recommend this laptop for anyone looking to purchase some of the higher price point Chromebook/macbook air options - this is way more bang for your buck.

I'm a huge fan of this machine. I'm deeply impressed that razer was able to engineer such a powerful machine into a this form factor. With that being said, I do have to point out that you really have to be sure that you need both portability and the power that this machine brings. Because at this price point, if you really want a gaming computer, then you there are much better options w/ more powerful graphics card options. At the same time, if you just desire a ultra book for portability, then again, there are much better options for a much lower price. However, if you do need both, portability AND power then look no further. Impressive build quality. Just awesome, clean design. No annoying "gamer" type looks or aggressive decaling/logos. Won't bore you w/ the spec details, but in general this can push some pretty solid frames for AAA games, albeit at the sacrifice of graphics quality. I mostly play Total War, Civ VI and strategy games that don't require a ton of demanding work from the GPU, so for my needs the GTX 1650 in this machine is more than adequate to handle my case load. Good screen brightness even with direct sunlight on the screen. The edges of the deck where you rest your hands when typing can get a little bit sharp, but otherwise really no complains. Great keyboard, soft, but not overly mushy. Not much travel or tactility, so if that's what you prefer then you many not enjoy this keyboard. Touch pad is excellent. Perhaps the best on the market right now, daresay on par if not better than the XPS. Nice port selection, I have a TB3 dock which I plug in and works well w/ my machine. Overall, this is a good machine and I would recommend it, if you need power and portability. But if you can do without one or the other, then there are better options.

If I could have given it 4.8, I would have. It's awesome in EVERY way but one...that stinkin' keyboard layout, which has been "fixed" in the latest model. I'm talking about the little bitty shift key, and the rogue function key... If you're not a sight typer, probably won't matter to you. Everything else...superb. The build, the quality, the performance, the cooling ...all excellent! Should you buy? Sure, if you get an excellent deal...otherwise, get the new one with the improved keyboard layout and the Ti card...

I've owned previous versions of the Razer Blade Stealth but this is by far the best. I needed an upgrade and Best Buy had a good deal on this laptop with local pickup. I haven't had any blue screen issues, everything is incredibly stable. I love that it's light for travel, the screen is incredibly bright, and the keyboard is fantastic. I use it for Photoshop and a lot of document editing and also some gaming with WoW and FF14. It runs both flawlessly. It also doesn't get burning hot or sound like a jet engine taking off.

Specs are accurate as noted. I’ll just note some unwritten issues. There’s some gripes like all laptops. Basically a very premium gaming laptop (with a weak 3D card) with 13 inch screen. I consider it dated as it was a class of it’s own initially but easily improved on by the newer stealth 2020 and the new AMD laptops 14 inches. I kept this model as despite having a chance to return it for the newer models, I did game fine with esports on this, and was significantly cheaper. Some would like a 144hz screen but my eyes were able to adapt to the 60hz. It’s pretty weak as a whole gaming unit with a lackluster 3D card. The worst part I believe is the 10th gen 25w limitations, the cpu does not run full power when running 3D card; will need to be over locked for it to be running at its best. This was also solved either 2020 model. This can run all AAA games but will need to have lowered settings. Whole body is a fingerprint magnet. The r shift and keyboard takes some getting used too. It has a small 100w brick but feels massive since the laptop is compact. Battery life depends on what you do, lasting long for work stuff. It’s nice to have small laptop to play Valorant/Csgo or Witcher on the go. You’ll need to be plugged in for full power though. Overpriced as you can get a much cheaper laptop with much better specs. However it’s very pretty like all razer laptops are. Razer has die hard fans: and I became one with this design. It’s not for everyone, but it’s for me.

I'm a college student, so I use this computer as everything from a note taking device, to writing and executing code, to video games (when I'm bored in class) and surfing the internet (also happens frequently in class :/ ) The computer works very well, but you would be well served to have a small amount of technical know-how to make sure you can use it properly. I had some minor problems with facial recognition and the onboard graphics card. Both problems only took a couple hours to fix, but if you want a computer that you aren't going to have to play with a little, get a Mac, (tho you would be missing out on quite alot). The battery does a good 6 hours or so if I'm coding and have it running on the lowest power usage settings, closer to 7.5 if I'm just surfing the web, which is plenty. Especially, when you take into account the 100W charger which takes the thing up to a full charge (even if I'm playing games or coding with full power settings while it charges) in about 40 mins so absolutely no problems there. Ah yes, the dreaded keyboard. Honestly it's not so bad once you get used to it, I shift almost exclusively with my right hand, and I used razer synapse to rebind the up arrow to also be the shift key. With that little change I can type at full speed and hardly ever miss it, if I need my up arrow key again, it takes 2 seconds to open razer synapse and rebind the up arrow to where the shift key currently is. Yes its a horrible design choice, and I have absolutely no idea who let it get so far, but its not the end of the world, and overall its an excellent computer.

The Razer Blade Stealth is an awesome piece of hardware for those looking for a great all-around laptop. With a 10th gen i7, 16 GB of Ram, and 512 GB of storage its definitely hard to push this laptop if you are doing only word docs and emails. Having a 1650 GTX means that just about every game from Steam or wherever can be played granted I wouldn't download whatever without looking at the system requirements. Basically, if you want a great compact laptop that allows for you to do gaming and be able to hand whatever school or work programs you need to run this will do it. But as a heads up as it is a laptop with a light-up keyboard if you have the settings at max expect about 5 to maybe 6 hours of battery life. The laptop will also get hot after prolonged use but I haven't felt anything worrying while I was just doing homework. But if you are playing games then dont be surprised though.

I use this mostly for productivity, but make no mistake, it can handle light games like Destiny 2 and Borderlands 3 without breaking a sweat. MBP from early-2011 died after many years and it was time for an upgrade. I'm only a casual gamer, and only wanted the best performing laptop at my predetermined budget (luckily this was heavily discounted at Best Buy). Couldn't justify the prices that were being asked for the the newest MacOS devices, relative to the performance being offered, so took a chance on my first Windows PC... Couldn't be happier with the chance I took on Razer. A Windows PC without the bloatware is a win already, but the aesthetics, low-pro keyboard, and performance of the GTX1650 Blade are almost impossible to beat. A+ for team PC

Great build, mushy keyboard and not so perfect trackpad, but probably the best you'll find on windows. I feel the biggest hassle is windows 10 on this machine. I returned it because it just was missing it's mark... I've felt it was just sluggish because of windows 10. I wish there was support for Windows 7 without a lot of work or linux. I switched over to a Mac a few years back and been trying to find that PC that works as well as a Mac and sadly I feel Windows 10 is the what holds this PC from being the perfect PC. The build is wonderful. Solid and sleek.
