If you are buying this for a computer...be aware that it turns itself off after 3 minutes of no sound. So if you are surfing the net, read an article that takes more than 3 minutes, then try to watch a video, the video plays with no sound. You have to physically push the power button for the sound to return. This has hurt my productivity. To make matter worse, I tried contacting RAZER support...exchanged emails for 8 days. At first, I was told to tryt a different USB port...there is not a USB connection from this device. After I sent a link to the exact product, I was troubleshooting it. Support finally sent me a RMA to return the defective product. I went to the RAZER website and found that the issue is normal, every single one of them power off, and there is not a way to bypass it. RAZER support was going to have me return a product for doing what they built it to do...not very promising. Again, not very effective for a desktop PC speaker system. I can tell you it did fit nicely under my monitor and when it plays it sounds good, but that doesn't matter when you have to turn it on every 3 minutes to hear. To make matter worse, after I hooked it up the first time and played music, I tossed the original packaging, so returning it is not an option.

Great setup. Great sound. Only con is that the Leviathan turns it's self off, if you don't play a sound for 15 minutes.

Fantastic Room Sound Bar

This sound bar is great for gaming, music, and movies. The passive subwoofer produces a deep, rich bass. This system is a 2.1 but it features Dolby Digital Surround, which sounds like a 5.1. I have it in a medium sized room and it is very loud and clear, and the bass will rattle the walls depending on where the subwoofer is placed.

Considering that a tiny Beats Pill is the same price as the Leviathan, you really can't go wrong about the price.
Pros: Bass heavy. If you love bass heavy audio, this is for you. It's NOT really 5.1 surround (or 7.1 surround). If Razer seems to defy the law of physics, there's no real way to have true 'surround' sound if all the speakers are facing one direction.
Cons: NO custom equalizer settings. You have 3 presets and that's it! There's no way to turn down the bass more (this is a really bass heavy sound system). Razer Synapse can't be used because it doesn't recognize the soundbar because it's connected by an aux cable or optical cable. The grill is a scratch magnet. It's the same grill that's used on the Beats Pill. No matter how careful you are, any tiny ding or scratch is apparent. And if you press pause to grab a bite to eat or take a little break, the soundbar will turn itself off (20 min. by default). So far, I have not figured out how to disable this.
Overall: Amazingly enough, this is a pretty decent sound bar. The size is small (kinda like a mid-size Beats Pill) but the subwoofer puts the icing on the cake. It packs a good punch. It probably won't replace a decent surround sound system for your overall living room, but if you're a PC gamer or play consoles in a small room, this is pretty darn good.

Our old player was going out just before Christmas. Was at the store picking up another order and saw this. Checked out some reviews on the best buy app and decided to go for it its been a great player so far. Sound is great even better then I had hoped at this price range. My only complaint is the picture quality while streaming Netflix go up and down. Amazon and YouTube and others as well seem fine. The Netflix app is just wonky. A friend from work liked it so much he went and got 1 for his place as well.

I bought this incidentally looking for a 2.1 speaker system. The system I was looking for was sold out and I've came across this product, which was more expensive but what really caught my eye besides the Dolby certificates was the subwoofer because I am a guilty bass head. I bought this being my first sound bar and I am happy with it, it's easy to hook up and use and the sound quality is great especially the bass. It comes with a optical cord so I can plug it into my gaming counsel, it has easy Bluetooth capabilities so I can connect my phone and listen to music. It comes with a AUX cord so I can plug additional devises into the sound bar. It's a very good system, but it's not perfect; it has only three sound equalizers for music, movie and game, you can't control the subwoofer levels as you want( if you wanted it up more or down less), it turns off automatically after some odd minutes it's a nit pick, sure. But a main con about this system is the lack of a controller; you have to turn the power on/off, turn volume up/down, change equalizers, turn Dolby effect on/off and change sound outlets ALL on the actual sound bar which is annoying... It's okay, you can laugh at my basic first world problem about the product. But overall I am very pleased with this system, just wished it had a remote or it can be controlled by my phone.

Needed to replace my existing speaker system with something "beefier" but a lot of the current speakers on the market didn't sit right (. I really liked the idea of a sound bar and was previously looking at using a TV sound bar until I came across this. It delivers excellent sound over optical but doesn't eat up a ton of space width wise. Design is definitely unique and delivers everything a TV sound bar does (Dolby Digital, optical connections, bluetooth, 5.1, etc..) for less. Only knock I would have is the included optical cable is really short and thin (i.e. easily damaged if your not careful)

Great speaker with plenty of connection options. Bluetooth is easy to setup with a simple touch using NFC.
Surround sound works well considering its a sound bar. The bass is powerful and games / music sound great though this speaker.

I have looked at the Leviathon speaker system for quite a while and then when it was on sale during the holidays I purchased it. All I can say is BUY IT! This has incredible sound and makes your gaming, music and video experience AWESOME on your computer. It is not made to be used as a sound bar for your TV in your family room so don't buy it to use for that. It does not have a remote, but all the controls are within easy reach and you can easily control the volume through your computer. The bass is incredible and the dolby surround mode really envelops you in sound while you are gaming or watching a movie. The build quality is first rate. This is one of the best values in computer accessories and I highly recommend buying it!

For its compact size, the soundbar features fantastic sound, with unbelievable bass. Be sure to check the documentation online for how to adjust the default settings, since at first you may not get the bass/treble mix you would like. My only other complaint about the unit is that when using the optical fibre connection, there is about a half-second delay before the unit "wakes up" and begins playback of audio. If there is a constant stream of audio coming to the unit, there is no delay, however if there is silence, the first sound made will have the first half second or so cut off. I did not experience this issue when connected using 3.5mm headphone jacks. Overall was not worth returning the unit, which works great for my purposes (general music/movie/gaming)

This is sound bar sounds great. You will be hard pressed to find something that is compact and sounds this good for the money. I have used all three connection points on this unit, and they all sound great. I also love the fact this unit is so compact. You just have the little sub, and the sound bar. No big speakers cluttering up your desktop. They are not for the audiophile, but if you are looking for something to watch movies, listen to music, and play games on your computer this is the unit to buy. They get plenty loud, and no distortion that I have detected yet.

First off im no audiophile. I chose this because it would match with my razer mechanical kb and mouse. Its quite compact and looks great on a desktop. I would not recomend this primarily as a sound system for a living room tv.. Mainly for a desktop pc setup. They do sound great although a little bit more clarity on highs would be better bass is certainly there and sounds clean in movies and games, it is adjustable. Yeah a remote would be nice and bigger buttons but its no deal breaker. It does autoshutoff but that should not be of concern if used as a desktop sound system. while sound is great i wouldnt really call it a true 5.1 due to its size. even though of its flaws i still love it.

For the money and functions, connections well worth the money. the only reason I gave it a 4 star not a 5 is because I wanted a few more speakers not just the 2. Sound quality is great, 5.1 surround sound is good from this set.

This is a very compact sound bar. It is a very noticeable upgrade from my $40 Logitech speakers that have wires running everywhere. It sounds great and I greatly appreciate no more wire clutter.
Input options are pretty standard for a soundbar. The simulated surround sound was a bit difficult to distinguish but the sound is otherwise good. Strangely the bass from the sub is comparable to my Logitech speakers but the bass from the soundbar itself is great.
Note I got this on sale.
