||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I have had mine for a long time, not exactly sure how long. I play a lot of league of legends and it works great for it. Wanted to get my wife into it as well so figured I would just buy the same thing since I was so pleased with mine

The perfect mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*below is my glowing review, but I wanted to first address all the false negative feedback on the web In response to the other review: I had absolutely no problems signing up for synapse 2.0 and setting up my mouse. A common complaint is about the size of the mouse being too small. This mouse was designed for MOBA play, which benefits from the fingertip (claw) grip, where a smaller, lighter mouse is preferred. The most important part of a mouse for MOBA, is the ability to be swiped quickly (often by lifting and moving the mouse while keeping wrist on the surface). The mouse's size, ergonomics, and weight are perfect for quick accurate movement, while reducing fatigue. Another common complaint I hear (presumably from non-MOBA gamers) is that the number keys on the side are "too easily pressed". First off, fast response time with a shallow, easily pressed, mechanical click is what you WANT. If you can't pick up the mouse easily, change the thumb grip to one of the other two provided. Lesson: if you are not using the mouse for the intended genre, don't critique plus points that are vital to a successful game. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *I am in love with this mouse (if such a thing is possible). When I first started using it, I actually had to adjust my poor hand posture (from gripping a too large, too high of a mouse) to the naturally relaxed hand. I tried the mouse for 2 weeks with the original thumb grip which made it virtually impossible to pick up the mouse (would just fall out of my hand). After two more weeks, I decided to try the middle size. The flat (instead of rounded surface of the default) was a huge improvement. I still accidentally bumped a few of the numbers, but at least I could pick up the mouse for a little bit, if not too securely. It wasn't until I tried the last grip (a month later) when I discovered that this was the proper grip for me. It makes the mouse as if there is no jutting piece at all (perfect for those who don't have "freakishly" long fingers"). The mouse is SUPER securely and easy to pick up with a simple roll of my thumb to hit any of the number keys I desire without bumping any I don't want. My suggestion is to try out this mouse, fall in love, and swear to never purchase another. *note thumb rest is the middle size in the picture

Came Back for Another
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first bought one of these mice about 2 and a half years ago from Best Buy, and the size, shape, weight, number and placement of buttons are perfect for me. Everything about it is neither too big or too small and the finger rest on the right side isn't something I would have looked for in a mouse but now any mouse without it just feels weird. Compared to the Corsair M95 this mouse is a good deal lighter, shorter height-wise and has much better macro key button placement. The software from Razer seems to be much better made and gets regular updates and bug fixes while the Corsair software for the M95 at the time seemed a lot less polished and less intuitive. After 2 years of use the only thing wrong with the mouse is that the middle mouse button has gone unresponsive and with the sale price it was an even easier decision to pick up a new one, I would have paid full price! Summary: With about 2 1/2 years of experience with the mouse I can say it is a nice midsize, middleweight mouse with a good number of macrokeys layed out well with easy to use and polished software and I did not hesitate to buy another.

Best mouse I've ever used, period.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, previously I was using a wireless mouse that most of the time didn't even work with my mousepad. I needed a new mouse because A. I was tired of spending my money on batteries for said mouse, B. The mouse I was using just, didn't fit my hand. It was much too large for my hand. When I saw this in the store I was immediately in love, the red color only increased my need of this mouse. After using the mouse for about two weeks, I can't possibly imagine myself selling or trading this mouse. Ever. Buying this mouse was the best decision I've ever made.

Excellent mouse for given situations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is pretty good. Fast response and comfortable feel. The placement of the side buttons are the main reason I purchased this mouse. I felt, for my needs, that the regular naga mouse had too many buttons that caused many misclicks. However, with this mouse, the buttons are positioned in a manner that reduces the misclicks. It also has a resting point in the middle of the buttons that allow you to get a good grip on the mouse while gaming without accidentally clicking buttons. Overall, pretty solid mouse. On a side note, the razer synapse software used by this mouse is very easy to use. It allows you to setup an account and save your mouse settings in the cloud to transfer over to a new mouse or different computer.

Good Mouse for MMOs with limited functions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like other razer Mice, this one is a great mouse. It looks nice is well lit and tracks decently. I bought this as I was struggling with my 12 button Naga having too many buttons. So the great news is that this Razer is much easier to button press because of the postions, BUT not great for games with lots of functions (actions using the 1 through = keys). Some nits are that sometimes the buttons are too easy to press (although there is a finger rest I should use more in the center of the hex). Also, this mouse is not for small (or even med-small) hands, though it is still easier to use than the 12 button for people with smaller hands.

Great Quality Gaming Mouse!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I primary play MMO's and this mouse has been a game changer for me. I will never be able to go back to a 2-3 button mouse. Sleek design, comfortable feel, rubberized notched grips on mouse wheel, nice clicker type buttons, and meeting all listed specifications make this one of the best purchases for a gaming mouse I have made thus far. It took a few days to get use to having the additional thumb buttons but as I've previously stated I would never be able to go back to a regular mouse again.

Outstanding Mouse for RPG and Shooters
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse has a great feel to it. It is a little short for my hands, this is why a knock a poor off. Other than the short length this is about perfect. I installed the Razerv software and was able to program macros for specific buttons and timing. I did have some initial issues with the SW but once I set it to run in Windows 7 compatibility mode it is been rock solid. I am running Win 8.1. Overall a great mouse.

Great mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a good mouse for intense gaming sessions and this one is great. Feels great to hold, side buttons are easily pressed without and stretch and split second reaction. Not to mention razor synapse tracks all your clicking and has heat map which is just interesting if you are curious how much you actually click

The Perfect Beginner Mouse For RPG & More
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I do not own this anymore because I gave it to a friend, but I would love to tell you why this is a great mouse. First of all, this mouse is very valuable for its price. It is $80, but it is smooth, and has extra key features than any other mouse. The buttons on the side make it easier to cast spells, change your weapons, and many other functions that you can change in game in settings. Also this mouse comes with an application from Razer to fully customize your experience. Colors of the mice can be changed which is great, you can change your dpi, and much more. Over all this mouse is great. I recommend it to all gaming users that are beginners in the market.

Looks great, few buttons keeps it simple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recent MMO game we're playing only uses eight buttons, so thought this would be a little less confusing to use. However, given the placement of the keys, the back ones are not as easy to hit as you'd think. Also, the material it's made of is very slick making it slippery to grasp. It is also very light weight, so if you're used to "man handling" your mouse, this isn't the one for you... feels like there's nothing there.

Overpriced, but very solid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Razer is a lot like Apple. They make good products, but they charge an awful lot for the brand name. The cord on this mouse is fantastic, with plenty of length to work with. I love the side buttons for more than just MOBA gaming. I used it in WoW for the longest time as a healer, and did a bang up job of it. I will, however, say that this mouse is a must-have for Smite. Makes the game so much easier to get into. Overall, if you're not crazy into the PC Gaming scene, you can probably skip this. If you mainly play MMOs, go for the MMO mouse with the 12 side buttons. That's the one downside to this mouse.

Generally great feel with only one quirk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using it for various games for about 5 weeks now, so far the extra keys at the thumb area have been really helpful. I bought it mainly because a game I've been playing isn't friendly from moving the wasd fingers to activating special abilities, so I wanted to move them to the mouse hand. The only 'quirk' I've had is my thumb doesn't 'quite' rest on the rest position, so every now and then I hit the one key accidentally.

Wonderful Gaming Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Aside from the fact that this does not come in my favorite color, midnight blue, this mouse is awesome. The easy to use software allows you to create button sets and macros for a large number of programs, which you can set to load when that program loads. Physically it's very comfortable in the hand, without being overly heavy or bulky. Though some may prefer a slightly heavier mouse. The placement of the buttons is very nice, making them quite easy and comfortable to reach with small thumb movements. I'm also a fan of the actual number of buttons. They're not nearly as overwhelming as models with twice as many and more side buttons.

Smooth with good button placement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Smooth, accurate, comfortable at a great price. I have gamed with many different styles and brands, this mouse is so far my favorite. I use it with final fantasy xiv and it has just the rite number of programmable buttons to give my tank the edge needed to play well.

Pretty good mouse, has great ergonomics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse has a great ergonomic shape that allows small hands to reach any buttons. Only problem I had with the mouse was the sensitivity of the side buttons. When I went to lift the mouse, or even move the mouse to the right, I would find myself clicking one of the thumb buttons very consistently, often inputting commands unnecessarily.
