A reliable alternative
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previously owning a Xbox Elite (V2) controller, I can see why this is a better alternative. It's very light (no battery obviously) and the customization software is okay. For me personally, I think the controller is a little to small, or that my hands are a little to big. The extra bumpers are kinda annoying tbh. Overall, it's good enough for a competitive advantage.

6 months of play time before review.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I purchased this Razor Wolverine Ultimate, Gen one Elite had been my favorite controller. The Elite Gen one and two are decent choices for sure. In my experience the analogs start to drift within 30 to 90 days. For the price, I feel like I should get more time before this process begins. I have owned my first Razor Wolverine Ultimate for 6 months and I did not experience drifting or buttons sticking. The only reason I’m on my second Ultimate is because I dropped a heavy object on the USB side of the cord and even though the performance did not change, I knew eventually it would become a problem. I had the extra Geek Squad protection and no questions were asked and I give much respect to the service I received from the staff. Customer service is always on point toward me. I’m 44 and I own a ton of consoles and accessories dating back to the 80’s so I have a good feel and experience on what I want with my gaming. I have large hands so ergonomics are very important. The extra buttons, button placement and overall design was well thought out and works well with my Racing and FPS games. My only minor complaint is I’m not a fan of the bright Led lights on the face. The application allows you to make adjustments to your preferences and is very precise and user friendly. I use this controller on my Xbox One X and my Skytech Gaming PC switching back and fourth is a flawless process. Soon I will add a second Wolverine when my Series X/S arrives. Some may not like the fact that it does have a cord, for me personally, I am very competitive and I prefer the direct connection with my controller and even to my router. I love the fact that the buttons click like the Razor gaming mouse. It’s a little thing but I like it. I would give more stars if it were possible. I hope I provided enough information for you to make a well informed purchase. This is just my experience and opinion so definitely do your research but I highly recommend this controller.

Razer is simply amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know what else to say other than that I love razer products. The peripherals are just amazing. I was looking for a controller that I could use with my PC. I wanted one that would resemble my scuff controller and when I saw the wolverine. I was just like "MINE." Not only does it have the triggers that I like on the back of the controller, but I also like the nice touch of the RGB on the front of the controller. The directional pad is interchangeable with 2 different styles of d pads for varying games. I usually keep the standard one in. Also it had came with a hard case for protection. Razer just knows gaming. At least in my opinion. But then again it's for gamers by gamers... So, in all the design, the application, the quality. It makes sense that it is that type of product. I admit I am a Razer fan, but in all honesty I still say don't speak ill of a product until you try it cause you might be pleasantly surprised.

AMAZING Controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not write reviews on the things I buy, even when they are nightmare purchases. This controller has compelled me to finally review something I have purchased. I have owned many custimizable/paddle controllers (Elite series 1 & 2, PS4 & Xbox Scufs, Fusion Pros v1 & 2, Steam controller, Astro C40, and the steelseries stratus) and let me tell you. The Wolverine Ultimate is the only controller I will purchase for the foreseeable future! The analog sticks are incredibly nice, smooth and accurate to the point where I would turn off aim assist playing on PC and do absolutely fine because micro adjusting your aim is so easy. The tactile switch ABXY buttons feel like butter when I press them and do not activate over easily like with the elite series. The paddles are placed in such a way that if you didn't use paddles or were playing something you don't use them you would never touch the paddles and forget that they were there. They are in a spot that paddle usually aren't placed but once you get used to the position they are easily and comfortably pressed and easy to press so you don't have to strain to hard. Big fan of the position of the extra bumper buttons as well. I play ALOT of Rocket League and anyone who has played it knows how difficult it can be to dribble the ball in the air for long periods. Before this controller the longest I was able to keep the ball on my car was 30 secs and I could never touch it again no matter which controller or sensitivity I use. With this controller I blew my record out of the water with 45+ secs the next 4 times since getting used to the controller. Overall this controller is a godsend for controller players and WILL improve your accuarcy/gameplay. Only complaint I have is the configuration app for PC but its still not bad enough to warrant any less stars for this controller.

BEST CONTROLLER IVE EVER USED
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a PC gamer who plays mostly Warzone and up until today I had been playing on MnK. I got so fed up with dying to a guy I stunned because his aim assist pulled through the stun (this happened multiple times daily), that I decided to give controller a shot so I got the aim assist too. I went and bought this controller and MANNNNNNNN, Im in love. The adjustable thumbsticks, trigger stops, extra programmable buttons, and the sensitivity settings made the transition to controller so easy and painless. It feels solid in my hands, and is absolutely the best controller I have ever used. I 10000000% recommend.

Better than Microsoft Elite Controllers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plugged in and worked immediately for my PC. I didnt need drivers or any kind of set up. The RGB effect is cool and the additional triggers and paddles are in very comfortable positions to use. 10/10 would recommend over any other "Pro" or "Elite" controllers

Broke literally around a year old. Not worth the p
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given it a better review for the first months but now i am being generous with giving this. It has already broke like completely and of course razor doesn't give anything for warranty reall y and of course my best buy warranty just ran out when it broke. For the price i paid it should last more than a year and during that year give my boyfriend problems with the buttons sticking. Very pretty and cool product when it works but now it sits as a paper weight.

Razer controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very cool and fun to use. Only part is a little hard is downloading the app to set up and modify the buttons. You have to go through Xbox and find the razer app. Besides that the buttons feel and work like a PC mouse. Quicker resound time. Better than the elite. Well worth the money. I like the cord so I don’t have to keep buying battery’s or charging them. It’s long enough for a bedroom use setup. Can make it longer.

Better than the new version!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is amazing! I’ve had it just under a year and it still holds up. I’ve used it on PC and now on my Xbox Series X. The back buttons are much more ergonomic that the paddles on other controllers. The audio controls are great, I’m disappointed they removed them on the new version. The audio controls allow you to mute your mic and adjust volume levels directly from the controller. There are apps on PC and Xbox that allow you to map buttons and customize profiles. The mechanical style buttons are super clicks and feel great. The carrying case, extra thumb sticks and durable USB cable have held up. Just an all around great controller.

Just as quality as an elite controller.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent 3rd party controller, I sometimes forget it’s not an elite controller. It being wired does bother me at all.

Trigger
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy the interchangeable joy sticks that use magnets to securely hold the to the controller. The downside is the stopper to shorten the trigger squeeze is mostly plastics and didnt hold up. Ive had my controller since June 2021 and its been broken for months now. It should be. Noted no kids use this controller and its never been dropped i only play COD and the shotter trigger squeeze give you an edge. Unfortunately its not rigid or sturdy enough.

Button broke pretty dang quick
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on Black Friday, and the rb button chipped out on me in March. Aside from that a great controller not sure if it’s a fluke or what but seems like the LB and RB buttons are kind of cheap plastic. Figure for a $100+ controller it wouldn’t break like that.

It's not Scuf, but it's worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not cheaply made, a little heftier than I expected. The magnetic joysticks can occasionally be knocked off if you're into some intense game play No issues with the Xbox App to program the controller. Macro buttons take some getting used to and you will find yourself constantly accidently hitting them or forgetting you have them In it's default setting the bottom paddles decrease and increase your controller sensitivity as long as the button is held. This is good for slowing down your aim while long range sniping, or speeding up your aim speed while in close quarters. These paddles can be remapped to any other button on the controller as well. This controller is NOT wireless. Something I overlooked when purchasing. That being said, it comes with a 10ft braided cable that slots into the controller to stop the plug from breaking. My only real gripe about this controller is that the paddles on the bottom do not come out to the sides. This makes them difficult to manipulate at times
