Its a good product, good quality build, plus really easy to switch between joysticks. However, i am unhappy about several things on the controller. First, the controller is i believe, build for people with bigger hands, the joysticks feel like they are far apart compare to a regular xbox controller. Which makes it difficult to fully grab and gives it an uncomfortable feeling, as well as finger fatigue, due to the constant strain of your fingers stretching. Second, the paddles on the back are way to in the middle of the back of the controller which it also makes it hard to be able to use them. And also you cannot remap em if you do not have a computer, so it makes it barely useable if youre using console. Only for things like crouching and jumping. And third, it is bothersome how sensitive the joysticks are when them down, and since it is a wider controller you can accidently click the joysticks mid fights, ive already lost so many fights due to the click of the joystick, i wish they could fix the width problem on this controller if they ever make a new version of this controller. Therefore i do only recommend this if you have bigger hands, or have no issues if you dont use the back paddles. Furthermore i really do want to appreciate the components used for some parts of the controller, like the XYAB buttons, they do feel extremely well put together with a nice clicky sound like a keyboard. And other components feel like a luxury item, and id for sure compare it to the xbox elite series.

I recent bought this to replace my Razer Wolverine Ultimate because it's getting old and has been used heavily. I used the V2 for about 4 days and what I can say is that it definitely doesn't feel like an upgrade. In comparison to the Ultimate here are the pros and cons. Pros: - Tactile d-pad - More premium feeling trigger stops - tactile bumpers - USB type-C cable - software is up-to-date and works with xbox integrated software - capture button for xbox - more RGB if that's ur taste Cons: - Feels cheaper - option and menu button are in an awkward position - no more buttons for mic muting and volume. Ur limited to xboxs software which means ur mic quality can be very quiet which happened to me. - thumb sticks are actually is a wider position then the ultimate which to me made it harder to control the sticks. And the sticks didn't feel as good as the Ultimate. - the controller is smaller to it can feel awkward in some people's hands. - no breakaway cable. The breakaway cable for the ultimate actually helped save my controller from dropping. - ABXY Buttons have a farther actuation point meaning that it takes more force to press then the ultimate. - no carrying case. For the price it should definitely come with one In conclusion if this is ur first upgrade to a controller this is pretty good but for the price the Ultimate or tournament edition razer controllers are better value. Sucks cause I like what the improvements had to offer but the overall controller wasn't great and wish it was just added on to the Ultimate.

    Love this controller

I am loving this controller so far. The feel is really good, even though it appears on the smaller side. The handles feel a bit shorter compared to the regular controller, but the fit is just very nice. You don't hit the back paddles by accident as much as the Elite controllers, since they're more centered. May be a bit harder/more awkward to reach for some, though, if you've got shorter fingers. I know it's wired, but I think the pros of this controller outweigh that. I love the RGB lighting on it and the sticks and buttons feel good. I haven't found a way to disable the slowdown of the left stick when pressing the back bottom left paddle. Even changing what it's supposed to do in the Razer app on the Xbox, it still keeps slowing down my left stick. May be a bug and they'll fix it later? Still loving the feel of this though. I haven't used my Elite in a long time but this one I'm keeping plugged in.

Very different from a regular Xbox controller. In the package, it looks way smaller; this change in size makes it hard to play competitively, as I’ve become accustomed to the feel of the Stock XSX Controller. I wouldn’t say I liked the thumb stick as they aren't comparable with my older Kontrol freaks and have little to no grip. The sticks aren’t as high as they could be because of the controllers size. The higher the thumbsticks, the more aim control you have at a certain point. The software was glitching out, holding me from running in a game on the right thumbstick. This happened twice, and yes, I did update my controller. No Case, Only Wired. I’m very disappointed with this product.

Good controller just a little to big.. the back paddles are in the middle of the controller making it nearly impossible to use all 4 without sliding ur hand further back on the controller making it hard to work the joysticks properly!!!

I fell in love with this controller. The software is very easy to use to set up multiple mappings for different games. It is a bit wider than the normal Xbox controller so it does take some getting used to but that is the case with most paddle controllers. The only downfall with it and the reason it doesn't have 5 stars is the port for the cable isn't secure enough. It's a known issue that the cable disconnects sometimes even when connected. It hasn't been a huge issue and I haven't experienced it in some time, but it can be annoying when you're in the thick of it in your favorite game.

made the right choice, I've tried different controllers and this one fits just right in my hands. I have big hands the original Xbox controller is small even the elite 2, but I would buy this again and again.

I would say that the reason why I only gave 3 stars is because of how big and bulky it is. The paddles are weird. Preferably I’d say get the Xbox elite 2 controller.

It is a little larger than the normal controller but I like the feel of it. If you can get over it being wired then you will enjoy it.

A very nice build, great button feel. This is a large controller, the analog sticks are further apart than your standard controller (Been using the tournament edition for 2 years) and its just fat in the hands. Even thought the weight is light it caused hand fatigue for how large the bottom of the controller is in the palms.

Today I am reviewing Razer’s newest premium Xbox controller, the Wolverine v2 Chroma. As someone who is extremely familiar with Xbox controllers, everything from the original Xbox “Duke” to the 360 controllers and now the Xbox series X/S At $150 this is not supposed to be just another regular controller, it’s supposed to be a premium Xbox controller with extra buttons, 4 extra triggers and 2 bumpers to be exact. These controllers exist to give you more control ability, the ability to map buttons, and thus give you an edge in gaming. This controller is on the bigger side, I have average man hands and I feel like this controller is just a little too big for me, I’m not able to reach the back triggers or the two extra bumper buttons that easily. The controller itself feels well-built, definitely feels premium the customizable RGB lights definitely set it apart from anything else in the market. The RGB lights look great and all, but when you are playing you won’t really notice them. The buttons are really “clicky” i’ve never felt buttons like this before, that’s not necessarily a good or bad thing it’s just different. What is a bad thing is that this is a fully wired controller because Microsoft owns the right to fully wireless. I also didn’t like how they only included one replaceable thumb stick of each kind. What I mean by that is, since you can swap out the thumb sticks, if you want a taller thumb stick you can swap it out, but there is only one of those, if you want the mushroom looking (or convex) thumb stick, there is only one of those. you would think there would be two of each kind but nope. At its current price point, I personally would rather spend the extra $30 and get the best controller ever made and that is Xbox’s own Elite Series 2 Controller. This controller is nice but about $30 too much.

    Too big

Initially thought I could get used to the placement of the buttons on the back… I started with a Xbox Elite series, and ultimately went back. It felt too large for my woman hands to reach all the way to the middle of the back of the controller. Otherwise, well built.
