For 10$ i bit the bullet and bought it mainly because its a bethesda game. And i wanted to give it a fair shake. I played it one day and it wasnt terrible by any means but its not exactly fun either. Almost all the npcs i find atrocious, the pregnant lady is the worst imo, but overall the gameplay is ok A bit boring at times and insanely hard on singleplayer until you get to level up a few skills. Still hard by yourself though and can easy get squashed by a few vamps that gang up on you. I would be annoyed if i paid 60$ for this but for 10$ i think it was a pretty good steal to try it out. I might get back into it one day but playstation is just superior with more variety of games i wanna play.

I don’t usually write reviews, but in this case, Redfall deserves more love than its getting. Granted, it released as a buggy mess. I grabbed it in July of 2025, and while the devs have stated they’re done updating it, they’ve fixed nearly all the complaints from launch. Its far from perfect (for the love of God, adjust the controller settings before you start playing), but its a lot of fun, and a ton of bang for your buck if ypu grab it on clearance.

Arkane, what happened to you? This is a trend that's not plaguing Arkane wholly, but gaming as a whole entirely. Avengers, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Battlefront II are just some examples of these companies thinking that every game requires an Internet connection and do the whole "Games as a Service" model. Desperately shoving this style into games that don't need it to squeeze a few extra bucks from the consumer is a sickening trend and great developers are paying the toll for their publishers greed. Unfortunately Arkane had fallen victim from Bethesda with easily their worst game, Redfall. While the concept of the game seemed fine enough, a ragtag group of people must take out a cadre of vampires who took over their little town, it's everything else that falters. Constant bugs and server disruptions at launch, ugly graphics, bad gameplay, boring loot drops and not having features promised at launch that took a full year to come out with (literally took a year for 60fps to drop on the Xbox Series X!) and we're still missing promised content over a year later! They had the nerve to charge $70(!!!) for this mess of a game, and a $30+ upgrade pack along with it, bo wonder this game died fast, even with same day Game Pass release. Luckily I didn't pay nowhere near $70 for this tripe, but $10 is $10 and I sadly miss every penny. Shame on you.

The game is better than when it 1st launched. I would say still need improvements, but a lot more playable and a good grab at a decent price.

This game is so bad! I'm talking epic proportionately bad! The betrayal of vampires is hysterically low! The mechanics, graphics, no offline mode lol and the fact that it feels like a rushed PS1 game make it completely not even worth your time. I'm glad I picked this one up for $10. This is definitely a zero star game!

After a few patches i jumped in and was blown away, alot of negative reviews for no reason. The game is pure fun, great atmosphere, amazing color palette, fluid gameplay. This game was build for OLED, i play on the Alienware and its just incredible looking on this display. For $9.99 is an absolute steal, jump in and be pleasantly surprised, this game deserves another look!

Redfall on Xbox Series X falls short of expectations, delivering a largely middling experience. While it offers a promising premise of cooperative vampire hunting, the execution feels underwhelming. The gameplay lacks depth, with repetitive missions and uninspired mechanics failing to engage over time. Although the game boasts solid graphics and an intriguing setting, its overall design feels dated and fails to make the most of the Series X’s capabilities. It’s a decent attempt but ultimately doesn't stand out in a crowded genre.

The game had a rough start but now it has been updated to support 60fps on the xsx which was a big problem for many. The game has a nice atmosphere and is fun if your into open world shooters.

Despite the issues the game is still playable and fun. The subtle details in the world are really good. Gun play is like Borderlands 3. The world is a little empty it’s either no enemies or a small or large group. Vampires are a little too easy. RNG isn’t good you’ll have to buy weapons from vendors instead or relying on looting. Price is steep for what it is. A good update should make this a great game.
