I bought this dashcam to replace another dashcam that I've had for a couple years that was not working well anymore. What made me look at this model was that it was a brand that I was familiar with (my wife's car uses a Rexing) and the product came with everything that I needed to install the dashcam into my car. This model checked all the boxes - wifi, rear cam, 4K, parking mode, USB-C connection. Installation was a breeze for my 2018 Audi A7 since I already had a dash camera installed. The hard part was removing the old dashcam as it had an adhesive that mounted the installation mount to the windshield that was very difficult to remove. I was so glad to see that this Rexing kit had a electrostatic film that I could use so that I don't need to apply an adhesive directly to my windshield again. That was ingenious and thoughtful addition. I've had the dash cam up and running for about a week and it's working like a champ. Both front and rear video are clear and it's been reliable. Even at night the camera can take very good and clear video. It's great the dashcam includes a small memory card but I ended up moving my memory card from the old dashcam. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Dashcams have become almost a given when you drive now. Having more than one channel is better and this V1P Flex X4 has two cameras and in higher resolutions than other offerings around. Even better is the ability to view and scrub video via wifi in real time without having to remove the internal storage and view it on a separate computer to view. This is a much needed feature which the V1P Flex X4 has. What that means for me, is that if I'm in an accident and a dispute arises from someone who struck my vehicle, I can provide immediate videographic proof of fault that is indisputable. This is something that gives me peace of mind and also gives me a discount with my auto insurance. The V1P Flex X4 came with a hard wire kit which is a very nice touch, and I did not have to use a 12v cigarette adapter to plug it in each and every time. The unit just powers on when the ignition starts in my car. It's seamless. The install was fairly straightforward for me, I was able to locate the fuse in my vehicle to connect the harness to and run the cable up to the main camera, from there it was just a matter of running the rear camera cable down the headliner to the rear of the car. I knew the unit doesn't have a GPS antena but if that's something your looking for, Rexing does offer a separate one to add on if you'd like. One thing I will be adding is the parking sensor motion trigger which is an additional addon. And one additional feature of this unit I found to be very forward thinking is the addition of a third camera input, for left and right cameras to run either in your cabin or to face out on the left and right side of your vehicle. I haven't been able to locate any left and right cabin cameras through BestBuy or Rexing on this but know that there is another port for an additional camera so possibly 3 can run on this unit now. The setup and usage was also really straightforward. There is a 32GB micro SD card provided that is formatted by the actual camera itself and once it's formatted you can go in the onboard menu and configure your recording resolution and intervals, and date time stamps and configure the wifi. The wifi is the best feature for me on this camera and it's a decent upgrade from the older 2.4ghz wifi connections offered in the past. Now using the Rexing connect app, I can hop on the wifi network setup by the camera to view my recordings and photos and customize some additional settings, like changing the default SSID and password for the wifi. I have to say that the size of this unit is vastly smaller than other offerings from other brands and that's a good thing frankly because it's out of sight until you need it, and you can perform most actions from the built in application now which makes things so much easier. I was looking to upgrade to a more stable and flexible car camera system and this certainly fit the bill. If you are in the market for one as well, I would suggest you consider this offering from Rexing.

Rexing V1P Flex X4 Dual Dash Cam

With a newly purchased vehicle, I was in the hunt for a new dash cam to use. Since I have Rexing V1 4K installed in my other car and I’m quite happy with its performance, I naturally looked at other Rexing products. I saw this new Rexing V1P Flex X4 which is exclusive to Best Buy and it looks very promising so I decided to purchase on the spot. The Rexing V1P Flex X4 comes with 4K Front and 1080P Rear recording cameras. This model uses a Supercapacitor which works really well in a very hot environment like the desert Southwest where I live. It comes with a dual band WiFi ( 2.4 and 5 GHz) to easily access your recordings. The 2 inch IPS screen and the 170 degree Ultra wide camera are both pluses and the USB type C port is a welcome change as well. However, the biggest plus is the inclusion of a 32Gb microSD memory card in the box which completes the installation package together with the wire kit. The installation was pretty straightforward and easy although I must admit that this is my third or fourth time to do this on my previous vehicles. One thing that is different is the rear camera is mounted inside the rear glass instead of the usual rear license plates or near the trunk of the car. This might not work for convertible cars since the rear glass usually retracts just like my Porsche 911 Cabriolet. My other Rexing dash cams were very reliable and I have no reason to think otherwise for this particular model. Besides, Rexing provides up to 18 months warranty with product registration in case you encounter any problems down the road. Performance wise, the Rexing V1PFlex X4 video image quality is super sharp and excellent during daytime or nighttime use. I installed it yesterday and was able to test it right away. Kudos to the accompanying app as well since interface is very user-friendly and intuitive, which allows for a seamless navigation and control over the camera's settings. It's very easy to wirelessly access, view and manage your recorded footage directly from your smartphone. If there is any improvement that I can suggest, it is probably nice if Rexing can increase the size of the screen to maybe 3 or 4 inches. Of course the windshield footprint will be noticeably bigger but that’s a trade off I’m willing to take. Overall though, this model is highly recommended!

All right, I'm a Rexing aficionado. I currently own the V1P SE 4k, having previously owned the V1, V1P Pro dual, V3 dual, and V2 Pro. I've come to anticipate the same level of construction quality from Rexing with this new V1P Flex X4. robust and simple to use, with all the functionalities easily navigable. The self-explanatory menus make setup incredibly simple; my grandmother could easily handle it. To avoid breaking your neck while mounting the camera on the windshield, you can configure it beforehand. Insert your memory, turn the device on, and then format the card. Set your preferences by navigating the menus and available options. Once the back cable is passed through the roof liner, you're done. The clarity of the 4K is mind-blowing, and it is incredibly crisp. It's amazing how night vision is just like day. Without a doubt, the video is outstanding. These days, having additional features like impact and motion sensing is essential. If you require an alibi, GPS is also incredibly accurate. Every car should come equipped with a dash cam; if not, acquire a Rexing to protect your insurance in the event of an accident that wasn't your fault.

This is my 4th Rexing camera in 6 years, and yes, all still work like new; this is exactly the same version of my first one but a newer model. I am upgrading to 4k and giving away my 1080 older one to a family member. I have tested the front and back cameras, and both have crystal-clear images. You can record audio that could be easily deactivated by pressing a button. I was able to connect over the WIFI very fast, and the app is easy for any non-savvy person to use, which will be very useful if you need to pull any video for any road or parking incident (I recommend running the hardwire installation to have full advantage of the Parking mode). Pros: 1- The WIFI connection is reliable 2- The interior audio is clear 3- The dual camera system captures clear images 4- The installation process is straightforward 5- The price is competitive compared to other brands. (This is a base model, but they have other versions with IA technology for driving assistance. Cons: No big deal so far Suggestions: It would be great if we could manage the camera settings over the WIFI/APP connection for convenience in the future. I will be uploading video and pictures in the near future when I install it on my car.

Pro's: - comes with 32 GB micro SD card - Built-in Wifi, works with the app to download videos - Type C - Easy to install (may be hard for the first time) - Resolution - Not a touchscreen (when you're driving, a button is preferable) - camera is rotatable a little bit and camera angle adjustment is easy. but it will not move around when you are driving because it is locked. You need to put a bit of force to rotate. Con's: - No cabin camera I think 2 point camera (front/rear) is just enough for drivers other than Uber drivers, because it saves space on SD card. Every 3 min, it records a separate video for both front and back, which will be around 250 MB each. That means if you drive for an hour, 10 GB is used, and 240 GB for 24 hours. If you need, get a 250 micro SD card. Loop recording will delete old videos so there's really no need to buy a high capacity SD card. I wish Rexing Dashcam could connect to my vehicle's head unit so it's easier to manipulate on bigger screen. Wifi Dashcam is super nice. When accidents happen you are not in a normal mental condition. Simply download the video and let that explain the situation.

This latest Rexing dash cam is very compact and light. It's made of all plastic, but build quality is pretty good. The lens can rotate a large angle, so can easily fit any windshield. The package is very extensive. It contains the dash cam, backup camera, power adapter with charging port, 32G micro-SD card, cable ties, trim tool and double mounting bracket and 3M tape. It even includes a hard-wire kit, which usually you have to pay extra to get. You also get 18-month warranty instead of just one year. It would be better if they could include a suction cup mounting option to easily transfer between vehicles. I set the resolution to 4k, 30fps and length to 3min. Under daylight, the image quality is very good. I wish there was also a 1080P, 60fps option to cope with high speed driving. At night, it's when it shines compared with most other dash cams. Video is so clear you can see license plate (when stopped), street and shop signs, even on streets with no lights. All the settings can be changed through the Rexing Connect app through WiFi connection. You can also view the video on your phone using the app. There are a couple of things I think need improvement. First, it's missing a WDR setting to deal with certain light conditions in day or night. Second, the recorded sound through built-in mic is so low that I can barely hear when played through my computer. Hopefully these can be fixed through future firmware update.

This is my 3rd Rexing dashcam and this new model did impress me again. The compactness of the dashcam is perfect for small cars like my Honda HRV and the front 4k camera recording is pretty sharp. It also includes a hardwire kit which saves you money and is very handy when the are is parked. It has an additional port for a 3rd camera which you can use for recording inside the cabin. Only thing I did not find was the GPS module which I think is ok since we all have smart phones with GPS. The installation is quite easy and the included tools and 32GB card ensures you don't spend additional money. Plus peace of mind with the 18 months warranty.

This product is a great value package overall. The dash cam recording quality is great and the Rexing Connect app worked really good with it. The main dash cam unit itself is a lot smaller than the official product images make it out to be, which is good because it takes up less space on the windshield. The buttons are clicky and responsive. I wish the buttons were backlit because you cannot see the symbols on them when it is (even slightly) dark. So you have to get used to remembering which button does what. The 12V charger is just long enough to connect to the unit from the back seat port in my Ford Explorer. Make sure to pre-plan where exactly to stick the adhesive mounts because they do not stick good after pulling them off where you first put them. The rear camera has good quality and the vertical angle can be easily adjusted. This dash cam comes with Rexing's own 32GB Micro SD card. One weird thing is that a temporary pull off sticker on the dash cam unit itself says to only use Micro SD cards that are at least U3, Class 10, and UHS-1. As you can see in my photo of the included Rexing SD Card, it is a U1 card, which is under Rexing's recommended specs. I have had no noticeable problems with the included SD Card so far. So hopefully this is just a minor detail mistake on one sticker (the manual mentions the Class 10/UHS-1 requirement, but not the U3 requirement). The included manual could have been more helpful. It is pretty vague at explaining the physical aspects of the installation process and some of the pictures are inaccurate or refer to other Rexing dash cams. One of the photos I have attached shows how the manual depicts the dash cam's mounting plates and how it actually looks like in reality. Despite these somewhat minor issues, this is still a great dash cam and overall package.

Its perfect upgrade from my previously used rexing dashcam, the built quality is great and the 4k recordings are crisp, i like the upgraded software interface that allows me to connect with the camera and play , save the videos. The cameras work excellent in high temperatures and that relieves me a lot, the installation was easy and they included everything needed. Its a must have for any car. Thanks Rexing.

First off, hats off to Rexing for including a hardwire kit in the box. So mnay camera on the market is an additional add on to activate the parking monitor. Overall setup is nice and quick, i drive a Blazer and found the cable lenght for the back camera to be more than sufficient to reach. Javing USC is also very nice touch but not required. Camera itself is very compact, very easy to tuck near the windshield camera hump to obscure it from vision if desired. Buttons are also very good. I do appreciate the emergency record being readily available if you need to capture sonething in a pinch. UI is simple enough to navigate with the additonal buttons as well. Here you can navigate quality, recording lenght in parking, include time lapse, Gsenosr settings, etc. All very easy to find through the menu. I like this camera has a wifi option to download as well as a sd card. I personally prefee the SD route as the card can be accessed quickly and viewed through an sd reader. PS, nice of Rexing to include one. As far as video quality, i would say its perhaps one of the better cameras out there. Ive had Viofo, Omni and could tell much of a difference. Caemra captures plates and video clear enough that if needed, you could identify the vehicle. Night time performance is also good without the obnixious glare youd get from passing cars. Flr the price ibwould definitely recommend. You get what i would consider the base of a good setup with both a fron and rear camera, a hardwire kit, sd card all for the fraction of the price from other brands.

I purchased this camera because of the good reviews, so far I am not disappointed. The camera is well packaged, comes with a memory card, records in 4K and even a rear camera. For the price, it is a good deal as it also comes with an 18 month warranty once you register your camera. When comparing the reviews, what it comes with, it is a fair purchase.

I've owned a few Rexing dash cameras for my family and this is definitely the biggest improvement they've made. The camera is capable of capturing footage in true 4k which is crucial for reading license plates and capturing other important details that can save you from an expensive legal battle, hefty fines, and increased insurance rates. I would also highly recommend taking the additional time to hardwire the camera into your fuse box. This allows you to keep the camera on while the car is turned off, allowing you to have surveillance from people hitting you in parking lots/on the street and allowing you to capture footage of anyone who breaks in/tries to break into your car. Last thing I want to mention is the addition of 5 GHz wifi connectivity. The older 2.4 GHz made for very slow connection speeds to the Rexing mobile app. Now, the connection is significantly faster, allowing you to download recorded footage lightning fast.

Let me start by saying I really like this company because they have great customer service, they listen to the wants and needs of their customers and as such, they are constantly innovating and evolving their product line. With this dashcam being a 2 channel setup (front facing cam and separate rear facing cam), it seems better suited for the average driver and not necessarily for a rideshare driver, since I would think they would prefer a 3 channel setup (front, rear, and interior). Although you could just use the rear camera for the interior and forgo any rearward recording. Being a longtime (7yrs and 4 cams) customer of Rexing Dashcams, I got this one for my daughter’s new (to her) car. All of my other cams were powered by cig adapter power cords, but my daughter was adamant about not having that type of power cord because she wanted the flexibility of using that spot for other purposes. Plus she didn’t want to see the cord coming out of the dashboard / console area. I’m not sure what makes this Rexing model exclusive to Best Buy, but unlike my previous Rexing dashcams, I love that this one comes with both, a cig adapter (wish they would have included a USB outlet on the back of it to add some versatility to it) and a hardwire kit that also allows for standby / parking mode to keep dashcam operable if it detects vibration, like if the car is bumped or damaged while parked. The hardwire kit has a small module attached that monitors the 12v battery level and will shut off standby mode if battery level drops below 11.9 volts, so that you’ll still have power to start your car. The hardwire kit was always an add-on option with my previous dashcams. Although it doesn't come with GPS built in, it does have the capability to add a small remote module (purchased separately thru Rexing). I kind of like not having it built in and then having the speed and location embedded into the video. Just show who was at fault during a crash.... Not that I may have been speeding... LOL I would prefer if the navigation button's embossed symbols on cam were white instead of just the embossed black on black which can be hard to see. I like that it comes with an additional mounting plate so when the time comes to switch the cam into a different car, there's no need to contact Rexing to buy one separately. Nice added touch! It's also great that it comes with a 32gb micro SD card made to withstand the rigors and temperature variations that dashcams have to experience. I imagine that a lot of dashcam customers don't know that you shouldn't just use any garden variety micro SD cards since they will likely soon fail because they aren't designed to work with dashcams. Back when I bought my first couple of cams, they didn't use to include a micro SD card. While still having a screen, overall size of the dashcam is somewhat small so not very noticeable when mounted behind rear view mirror on windshield. I like that you can fairly easily view the dashcam footage on your phone via the Rexing app, as opposed to trying to review it on the screen of the cam itself or having to always take the SD card out and use your computer to view the footage. While the clarity of daytime video is great, the night time video could always be better, but that goes for most dashcams. Definitely good enough not to be a deal breaker though. In closing, I would just like to say that I think this is a great all around mid-level dashcam that won’t break the bank but will most definitely get the job done with ease.

This is another great Dash Cam from Rexing. This is the first one I purchased that includes both the power plug adapter and the hard wire kit. The dash cam records great video from the front and rear camera. I also like that it has a mount it can be easily removed from. There also is a connector to disconnect the rear camera close to the camera that makes routing the cable behind seats and along panels much easier. It also is easy to set up with easy to navigate menus. The WiFi connectivity is also great and works seamlessly. Dash Cams are great insurance against being blamed for an accident caused by someone else and I recommend them for everyone.

I bought the dashcam V1 from Rexing years ago and it's still working well. But I found this newer version is a very good upgrade and worth the money. The type-c port is much more convenient and it also includes the kit which you can use to hide the cable so that your cabin won't be messed with cable. What's more, there is a camera for backside as well.

Recently, I had an accident at an intersection while I was stopped. I was driving my SUV with a trailer attached when a larger commercial pickup truck hit my trailer. The impact was so forceful that it pushed my vehicle into the intersection. The driver of the pickup seemed to panic; after initially stopping, he suggested we move our vehicles around the corner to exchange information since we were blocking the stop sign. However, after parking further down, he drove off without exchanging any details. Following this hit-and-run, my wife and I were quite shaken and couldn't recall many specifics when the police asked for details. To prevent such incidents from happening again without any record, I decided to purchase a dashcam. I went to Best Buy, where I chose the R1V Rexing Dashcam. It was installed by the Geek Squad. Now, with the dashcam in place, I feel much more at ease about driving. Thank you, Best Buy, for your help.
