I installed it so I can open my garage and take delivery and be able to speak to my delivery man at yeh Same time and close my garage anywhere I am at in the world as long as I have wifi.

Its not “great”, but has good picture quality and motion sensing. The IR lighting it utilizes for nightvision is lacking in coverage and distance, imo. I find it difficult to see between vehicles parked 20’ directly in front of it at night. I’ve added an ir floodlight to remedy this. The power cable is more than sufficient for most installations, and is about 20’ long, I believe. It’s size is one of my biggest gripes with it. Its a lot larger than it needds to be, imo. Its also quite heavy, given its size. The weight wouldn’t normally matter, but the included mount is extremely flimsy, and allows the camera to shake in the wind, when mounted to a wall or ceiling. The mount is my biggest disappointment, and there are no other mounts available, at this time. If there were a more sturdy mount included, or even available, i would rate this camera better, but there isn’t, so…

We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the installation and mounting concern mentioned in your review.
Ring Stick Up Cam Pro has advanced features including: 3D Motion Detection with Bird’s Eye Zones and Bird’s Eye View, Audio+ for enhanced audio, HDR video, and dual-band wifi. The dimensions of the device are: 6.06 in. x 2.76 in. x 2.76 in.
We are happy to provide you with the installation instructions for the Ring Stick Up Cam Pro according to the specified mounting location.
Place your camera on a tabletop or shelf and look at Live View in the Ring app to make sure it’s positioned correctly.
If you’d like your camera to have a downward angle, swivel the base around so that the longer side of the base is facing the front and tilt your camera so it points downward.
Follow these steps for wall installation:
Remove the decorative cover from the camera mount.
Use a standard Phillips-head screwdriver (not included) to unscrew the mount and detach it from the rest of the camera.
Install the mounting plate.
Slide the mounting plate off of the camera mount.
Place the mounting plate on the wall with the UP arrow pointing up.
If installing on a wood surface, screw the plate directly into the wall.
If installing on a masonry surface, mark four screw holes using the plate as a guide.
Drill pilot holes using a 1/4" drill bit. Insert the included wall anchors, then drive the four mounting screws through the mounting plate into the wall anchors.
WARNING! Only use the included mounting screws when securing the mounting plate.
CAUTION! DO NOT drill into your home’s electrical wiring.
Mount your camera to the wall.
Screw the mount onto the back of the camera.
Slide the camera with its mount onto the mounting plate.
Tighten the security screw on the camera mount so that it’s firmly attached to the mounting plate.
Slide the decorative cover back onto the camera mount and click it into place.
Secure the battery cover to the camera with the security screw (optional).
Adjust the camera angle.
Rotate the camera to focus on the area of your choice. Look at Live View in the Ring app to make sure it’s positioned at your desired angle.
Follow these steps for ceiling installation:
Remove the decorative cover from the camera mount.

Great Cam, Nice Upgrade

This cam is larger, so be advised. However, the view is superior. Nice overall upgrade.
