So expensive. Had to buy them b/c they were the only option and I needed banana plugs ASAP. The wire connection design isn't the greatest, either. With mild force (which admittedly one shouldn't normally encounter with speaker wires, but still a good "safety" test) you can pull the speaker wire out from these plugs. Banana plug connection designs I've used in the past don't have this problem - they cinch the wires to the plug better and more securely...and with less parts. I think these are a little over-engineered.

Honestly, I’m puzzled by all of the glowing reviews of these things. There are a ton of simpler/better options out there. And the “no tools” thing is misleading considering the entire mechanism for holding the wire in place revolves around tiny plastic compression rings in a separate bag in the box. Lose those, or break them, and you have literally nothing holding the spike inside the speaker wire. Just pulls right out. So you end up having to hold the plug with one hand, while you keep pressure on the wire with the other hand, while using the first hand to try to get the back threaded enough to start compressing the plastic cone shaped ring, and eventually hold the wire in place. Let up that pressure at any point and the wire falls off the spike. Redeeming quality? Sure, you don’t need to strip the wire at all. Like the concept, hence, the two stars. But three separate pieces, one made of plastic that struggles to even fit around thicker gauged wire is just bizarrely engineered. Find literally anything else than these.

Terrible design. Couldn't see instructions on the back and there were no instructions on or reference to any method of use. I think I needed a wire wrapper to use this and didn't own one or just needs a huge cable diameter. Package didn't say that. Solution: I ended up going on Amazon prime and ordering a similar but more effective design that the community approved of and had instructional videos. If you know what you are doing then go a head buy them. The cost on Amazon was a fraction of this.

I have used several different brands of banana plugs over the years and unfortunately, these were horrible. The design for holding the wire in place is flawed. It appears that the small plastic piece included is supposed to act like a compression fitting, but it doesn't; at least not well. I can easily pull the wire from the plug with a gentle tug. I would not recommend using these.

Not very happy with these. They do the job but could be a better design to stay clamped longer.

Works as it should. Not really a fan of the way it's designed in comparison to others.

They are ok, I did not like the fact that they come with a little piece of plastic to compress and hold the cord in place. If you set it wrong the first time, that plastic is deformed and difficult to reuse.

Terrible design to push into the end of the wire to make a connection. They all fell off as soon as moved the receiver back into place. I tried several times to get these to work, but could not get them to where I could rely on them.

Poor design requiring a collar that goes over the speaker wire casing. The collars provided (2 sizes) are too large for in wall speaker wire. I returned the banana plugs since they won’t work with my speaker wire.

They dont hold the wire and the connections come loose frequently. The design is bad . I would not recommend this product. If you are looking for banana clips look at other brands with different deaign

Do not purchase. Incredibly poor design. For such a simple concept, these miss the mark in every way. They come with a valve like device that is meant to fasten around the speaker wire from within the banana plug that is hard to get set appropriately and then doesn't really create a snug fit.

Literally the worst banana plug design I've used. You are better off with bare wire connectors. The plastic collars are useless.

Bad design, the cable keeps falling off. I wish I knew that these banana plugs had this revolutionary way of connecting the cables so I could have avoided spending 14 bucks in such a bad product.
