Bought this filter for my son. It works good makes a difference however the mesh should be more sturdy

Does a great job!!!! Although it is a little wiggly at its connection to the mic stand (despite being at its tightest.. it still moves a little). As far as sound quality it stops the pop but you will need a sound foam sheild to back the mic for increased crispyness.

Great pop filter! Incredibly sturdy--like for real heavy duty. Very easy to set up, and sounds great with regards to limiting pop sounds on P's and B's, yet doesn't cut out too much high end like some pop filters do. I've been using it with a modded MXL 990, and the response I get from the mic is still just a great as normal when the pop filter is used.

The lady at Best Buy told me that this was an off brand item when I was buying it. Surprised me when she said that and then she ended up being right, as I returned it :( Quality is not good, the filter was scratched and the open/close adjust area had a yellow stain on it. It originally shipped out to me and the package became open in box with the stain. When I went to exchange it at the store, that's where I met the lady telling her my story. She did an exchange. Days later when the exchange was shipped/arrived to my house I received a package that had been manually tapped up with white tape and low and behold...there was the yellow satin. Yep they sent me the same one 2x and who knows where it had been previously with that yellow stain before me...Gross! I have ordered many things from Best Buy. This is the 2nd time they have sent an "used" item out to me. The other was a $350 pcie 4 that was shipped out with the plastic round sticker seal flap opened already...So pay attention!

This thing blocks out all the weird noises my mouth makes.
